Good place but not the best management company

Pro: Good location, condo was well decorated, pet allowed Con: King bed was terrible (very uncomfortable), mattress cover had blood stains on the them, dirty dishes were put away with clean dishes, keyless entry was not user friendly, management company was not very responsive to issues/concerns (long hold time and took 30mins to respond), appliances were old, and there was a musky smell throughout the condo. Advise to owners: Change the king mattress pads/covering (blood stains were all over), huge dip in the mattress so was very uncomfortable, and consider changing the appliances such as stove/dish washer. Get better cleaning services as I had to redo all dishes and silverwares because we found dirty ones mixed in. Give key options or have the management company do a brief show/tell not just instructions and youtube video's they were not helpful when we're at the condo trying to get in. In term of the management company, they were not helpful and made us wait 30mins or longer to get issues resolve and hold time were at least 15mins which is terrible when the customer had issues like not being able to get into the condo.

We do take the comfort and needs of our guests very seriously and apologize for extended wait times due to our telephone system being busier than normal. Your specific feedback on the king bed is appreciated and the mattress has been replaced as a result. DON’T BE FOOLED!!

The condo wasn’t till 4pm because they were supposedly cleaning it. Lol. WRONG!! When we opened the mold ridden door we were slapped in the face with the horrific smell of mildew and mold. As we walked through the kitchen the first thing I noticed was crushed up food on the living room floor underneath the couch and dining room table. Upon further inspection there was a crushed up plastic bottle behind the couch, dirty socks and trash behind the bedroom door, dirty dishes and silverware in the cabinet while clean dishes were in the dishwasher (I have many pics to back this up). I didn’t realize; because it wasn’t posted anywhere that the sheets and linens are left in a blue linen bag in front of the TV. So you’re supposed to put them on the bed yourself!! And they didn’t even leave sheets for the Murphy Bed. Great!! We immediately left to go to WalMart because this place was going to need a lot of cleaning , deodorizing, and candles before I’d even feel comfortable sitting down. So after spending ALOT OOof money on a blow up mattress(the sofa bed and Murphy Bed were way to gross to sleep on, sheets for the king size bed and now the queen size blowup, blankets, Febreeze, Lysol, bleach wipes, plug ins, candles and cleaning for awhile we were ready for bed. The whole resort was just run down and unkempt. The elevator was musty, the walk way to the pool area smelled like cat urine and the indoor pool was filthy. And on Thursday there was feces on the pool deck by the lazy river!! When we got back to the room Thursday evening the musty, mildew smell was sooo bad and it felt like everything in the room was moist. I Iwas so grossed out that I decided I couldn’t sleep another night in there and we left a day early!!! Oh and to top it off the Wi-Fi in the bedroom was terrible!!! At least the bathroom was in good shape and it didn’t have carpet.

Thank you for your candid review, I apologize about the issues during your stay. If you had reported these issues during your stay to report that the unit was not satisfactorily cleaned, we could have sent out a team to re-clean the unit and would have made every attempt to resolve every unit issue you have mentioned in your review. Mildew is a common issue with properties across coastal regions, it only takes a few minutes with the balcony door being left open with the A/C running to cause mildew to start. Regarding the issues with the Bay Watch Resort itself, we can only relay this information to their property management company, as we do not manage the grounds of the resort. Again, I’d like to express my sincerest apology and hope that you will give us another opportunity in the future.

Excellent all the way around!

We had such a wonderful stay! Everything was absolutely spotless and beautiful! An amazing oceanfront view, full kitchen, tons of sleeping space, clean bathroom, great access to pools, beach and other amenities. We travel a lot and this place is everything it said it was and more! We can't wait to visit again! Thank you.

relaxing oceanfront getaway

The property had everything you need to have a nice relaxing stay on the ocean. the unit was comfortable, with beautiful views of the ocean and pools

Baywatch resort was very nice., has everything you want at hand. Beach clean and close.,staff was friendly and helpful. Check in took longer than we expected. Other than that we would stay again

Property looks as depicted in photos and was very clean. Has everything my husband and I needed. Resort is nice with pools restaurant and bar. Only thing I would recommend is the mattress is still wrapped in plastic and every move you make is noisy not enjoyable...and more or better pillows.
