Entspannen Sie sich auf der großen umlaufenden Veranda. Spazieren Sie zum Riverwalk oder in die Innenstadt (nur wenige Gehminuten). 15 Minuten nach Benning! Das Haus verfügt über eine geräumige Master-Suite mit komplettem Bad, die sich auch zum Wohnzimmer hin öffnet. 2x Queen BRs oben mit einem halben Bad. Voll ausgestattete Küche mit allen Geräten, Kochgeschirr, Waschmaschine und Trockner. Frischer Teppich und 50 "TV & Roku im Wohnzimmer! Wir lieben kurzfristige oder langfristige Aufenthalte. Haustiere sind willkommen! Wenn Sie auch das Rückenteil wünschen, lassen Sie es uns wissen!Das Beste an diesem Haus ist die große Veranda. Hier können Sie mit Freunden und Familie zusammen sitzen, besonders wenn das Wetter schön ist.

Im Inneren haben wir gerade die KĂźche aktualisiert und den Boden neu gestaltet.

Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein KĂśnig Meister mit eigenem Bad, das sich auch zum Wohnzimmer Ăśffnet.

Das Wohnzimmer ist geräumig und verfßgt ßber hohe Decken, eine Couch, Stßhle und einen 50-Zoll-TV.

Die Kßche ist komplett mit allen Geräten und Kochgeschirr ausgestattet, die Sie zum Zubereiten von Mahlzeiten zu Hause benÜtigen. Es beinhaltet auch eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner fßr längere Aufenthalte.

Im Obergeschoss befinden sich zwei süße Schlafzimmer, die jeweils mit Queensize-Betten ausgestattet sind. Sie teilen sich ein halbes Bad.

Viele Parkplätze an der Vorderseite oder an der Seite des Hauses. Es gibt auch einen gemeinsamen Parkplatz auf der Rßckseite des Grundstßcks.

Das Haus ist ein altes historisches Duplex, so dass sich auch Gäste in der hinteren Einheit befinden kÜnnen, aber es kann zusammen gemietet werden, wenn Sie mÜchten. Unabhängig davon ist jede Einheit vÜllig getrennt. Wir sind immer fßr Sie da, wenn Sie uns brauchen, aber die Tßr hat einen Code, damit Sie nach Belieben kommen und gehen kÜnnen, um maximale Privatsphäre und Flexibilität zu gewährleisten.

This is a fun quirky old house. We enjoyed our time there. One of the upper bedrooms may be haunted. My 18 year old son said he felt something sit on the bed every night (we were there for four nights)!The neighborhood is indeed quiet and delightful with easy access to the River Walk and tons of architectural eye candy.

Enjoyable time in Columbus, Georgia

really enjoyed our stay in this quaint Columbus home. The home had ample beds and space. The family room worked well for games, book reading and watching some local TV. Loved the location with its proximity to fort benning and all the local attractions and great downtown restaurant. We love white water rafting, bike riding, walks and the awesome food at Smokes J: bourbon and barbecue. Enjoyed sitting on the rockers on the front porch in the quiet and friendly neighborhood. Look forward to coming back the next time we are in Columbus, Georgia.

Great stay

We had a last minute family need to be in Columbus. The wrap around porch house was in the right place and was perfect for us. The house is nicely decorated with comfortable furniture. The three bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The communication with the property management was easy. They are attentive and responsive to any questions or concerns. We enjoyed our stay and will stay here for our next visit.

Perfect little house

Cute place within the historic district. Close to amenities, and Ft Benning. We walked around the neighborhood several times and everyone was very friendly! Worked well for a group of 8.

Poorly maintained and serviced during stay.

The air did not work the entire trip. The house was 75 degrees the entire week. We could not use the kitchen sink the entire week because the faucet was broken and no one come to fix it. So we could not do dishes so we had to eat out every meal… $$$ Their was not enough linen for the family. The pictures make it look much nicer than it is. The porch is a hazard!!! I ruined my nieces dress due to splinters and is rotten. The lovely porch swing is no where to be found… Over all very disappointing and they didn’t seem to want to help make it right. Would not rebook this unit or any of the ones managed by the “patriot homes”

Great location. Needs a deep clean.

We would 100% stay here again. Towels and sheets were clean. Comforters were not. Surfaces were dirty. Floors were clean. THIS HOUSE NEEDS A DEEP CLEAN. Cabinets, woodwork, and appliances. Serious TLC will get the rating back up there.

Porch needs work!

The Good: nice safe walk to town, was here for a Ranger graduation and had a few 20 something’s with us who wanted to meet friends in town, so no driving concerns which honestly made this property worth it. The AC worked well upstairs and down. The Bad: Hard to get in touch with a live person at patriots homes. We couldn’t check in because I didn’t realize I had to fill out multiple papers before I could get the code. (Ok my fault) I’ve only ever dealt with homeowners on VRBO which always went smoothly. I finally got the number of an actual person, not recording from the duplex renter who also had an issue checking in. Long story short we we’re finally in 2 hours after scheduled check in. The porch is a mess and honestly a safety hazard. There is no porch swing like in the picture. The board’s are rotting and there should be a railing because it is quite high. Now this would be less of an issue if the whole listing wasn’t based on the idea of a beautiful wrap around porch, this is misleading. Overall the place worked but this property really needs some TLC and by the time you pay for the place and add VRBO fees it cost over 300 a night.

Fantastic Location

This house was the perfect location to downtown and Ft. Benning. There was plenty of towels and supplies provided. The property owners were readily available to answer any questions. The only downfall was there was no air on the second floor where 2 of the bedrooms were. Fans were provided, but it was miserably hot at night.

Excellent home away from home

We stayed here for our son’s Army ceremonies - the location was perfect! The communication with the property manager/owner was always prompt, helpful, and kind. The home was simply charming. The neighborhood and the house - oh my gosh - you truly feel at home. Safe and sound.

Neighborhood is great. House definitely needs some work.

The location of the house is absolutely great. I wish we could’ve been there to enjoy that, but we were there for family get togethers across the state line. The house really needs some work. The front door scrapes against the frame so badly that you have to pull really hard to open and slam it to shut it. One time when trying to close it, the door handle broke off. The only way to shut it was to walk out the other entry door, which would not stay shut or even latch except with the deadbolt from the inside, and walk around the porch. There was no place to put even a suitcase in the master bedroom. We had to pull out the ironing board and use that to put our suitcase on top of. The legs on the living room furniture were broken. There was no way to control the volume on the TV. Either loud or mute. The house was evidently remodeled about 30 years ago to be a rental. All of the fixtures are very, very dated. The front porch was great, And the weather was perfect to sit out there in the mornings and drink a cup of coffee. Pet friendly was also good, as we have a couple of small dogs that we were able to take with us. All in all, we were happy with our choice, but just wish the management had spent some resources in getting the house up to snuff.

Conveniently located!

We stayed at this property in May, 2022, for 3 days. Overall, it's fine, and suited our needs. It is walking distance from quite a few restaurants and a good coffee place (Iron Bank) and the river. Checkin and checkout were totally painless, and the electronic door locks are a nice touch. The house itself is old and none of the floors are level. There is one bedroom on the ground floor, and 2 upstairs. The upstairs bedrooms do share a tiny half bath. The stairs are very typical for an old house and have narrow treads. The air conditioning works, which is pretty important in Georgia! The a/c unit is outside the downstairs bedroom window and it is loud. All of the ceiling fans and floor fans also worked, so we stayed pleasantly cool. All of the appliances were in working order. Everything is noisy - the washer, the dryer, and the plumbing were all notably loud. I would say this is not particularly friendly to travelers with small children. There's no way to plug the tub for a bath, for example, and the single bathtub/shower is not in great shape. The porch does not have a railing and is fairly high. We found our stay pretty satisfactory in general.

Beautiful home in safe neighborhood.

We loved this charming little house near the historic district! We walked to many restaurants and attractions while we helped our son relocate to the base at Ft Benning. We were sad to leave this beautiful property, neighborhood and our son, but we are peaceful knowing that we can always return to visit.

The best part of this house is its large wrap around porch. You can enjoy sitting out here with friends and family, especially when the weather is nice.

Inside, we just finished updating the kitchen and redoing the flooring.

Downstairs has a King Master with en-suite full bath that also opens to the living room.

Living room is spacious with high ceilings, couch, chairs, and 50" TV.

Kitchen is fully equipped with all of the appliances and cookware you will need to prepare meals at home. It also includes in-unit washer and dryer combo for longer term stays.

Upstairs are two cute bedrooms that each have queen beds. They share a half bath.

Plenty of street parking in the front or side of the house. There is also a shared parking lot in the rear of the property.

The house is an old historic duplex, so there will also be guests in the back unit, but it can be rented out together if you want. Regardless, each unit is fully separate.
