Diese authentische, abgeschiedene Hütte, die ursprünglich in der Prohibitionszeit gebaut wurde, liegt auf einem Berg mit Blick auf den East Branch des Delaware River und bietet Ihnen den Komfort eines Zuhauses, einschließlich Privatsphäre und Intimität. In der Nähe der Stadt, wo Sie ein Lebensmittelgeschäft finden können, ist dies ein idealer Ort zum Angeln, Kajakfahren und Kanufahren. Great Stay

It was a family getaway, me and two of my grown “kids”. We don’t get to see each other enough. The Cabin was the perfect place for the three of us; cozy and comfortable. We really enjoyed taking turns cooking on the vintage stove/oven and spending time together around the campfire and exploring the area.It had rained quite a bit before we arrived and the river was too high to fish. No problem; other things to do. Some nice hiking trails nearby. The School House, the Downsville Diner and Danny’s in Walton and really good places to eat.We brought a couple of acoustic guitars for some laid back tunes. The time flew by. We came for some fishing, but didn’t miss it. Thanks for having us

Beautiful property, and the perfect getaway

Janet's cabin exceeded our already high expectations based on the listing and other glowing reviews. The space is clean, very thoughtfully outfitted and charmingly decorated, set on a beautiful private property, and very near the river, antiquing, kayaking, and all the we were hoping for in a weekend getaway. We will certainly be back!

Some fishing and relaxing

Directions were excellent, instructions were clear. Checking in and out were a breeze. The property is private, the cabin was clean, well stocked and comfortable. We fished a few areas on the East Branch of the Delaware Fishing was good, but best of all was spending time with my youngest, Sam, especially at the nightly campfires.

Quiet and cozy

Great lil cabin with privacy and views! We had a great time at this private secluded cabin. Janet is a great host! Morning campfires with overlooking the river and watching flocks of geese fly by were definitely a highlight of the stay. Rustic but clean cabin and everything you need to enjoy a few quiet days in nature! Highly recommend!!

The property was very sweet. The only downside, was the lighting in the cabin is extremely dim. So indoor reading and kitchen food preparations would benefit from additional lighting.

My husband and I loved this little cabin. We had a wood stove fire going for the weekend and it was the perfect place to unwind and relax! Definitely recommend this property! We want to go back soon.

With barn wood accents on one side and two comfortable bedrooms on the opposite end, you'll find it a delightful and unique getaway.

One of my favorite features is the centerpiece of our kitchen – an old 1930s stove and oven. It’s a true treasure and adds to the authentic rustic feel of the cabin. Outside, you’ll find a serene spring-fed pond, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful mountainside setting.

EXPLORE THE AREA:
• Roscoe: Just a 30-minute drive away, Roscoe offers fun activities like visiting the Roscoe Beer Company, the Do Good Spirits Distillery, Buck Brook Alpacas Farm, and the Roscoe O&W Railway Museum.
• Cooperstown: About an hour away, Cooperstown is home to the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum, a must-see for any baseball fan. In the warmer months, enjoy The Milford Track, a spectacular 12-mile round trip pedal ride on the railroad tracks through farmlands and forests alongside the Susquehanna River.
