Newly built bright and spacious log cabin with modern amenities nestled on a private road with a beautiful and private natural waterfall. Minutes to fishing, swimming, restaurants and local breweries and distillery. Escape for an intimate retreat or bring the extended family. Sleeps up to 9 comfortably! Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bath has a whirlpool tub. Open floor plan with large kitchen, dining and living room for entertaining or just taking it easy. Cozy up in front of the fire or swing open the French doors in summer and enjoy the cool breeze. Step onto the elevated deck and look out over the magnificent forest while grilling some dinner! Listen! The sound you hear are two streams passing on either side that come together to form a picture-perfect private waterfall just a short trail walk from the cabin... bring wine! Night time? Sit around the campfire or the propane firepit on the deck listening to your favorite music on the integrated bluetooth sound system. Girls Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We took a walk to the waterfalls, went shopping, and went to Roscoe Beer Works. It was a perfect spot to escape reality fir a weekend and catch uo with best friends!!

The cabin was very nice, and Jason was a great host. The cabin itself still needs to be finished, some trim needs to be finished, the wall paint needs to be removed from the trim, where it over lapped from the wall. It would have been very nice to enjoy the water feature, but it was turned off, and not filled with water. The description of the needs to point out that the living room is sunken, so there are steps up thru out the bottom floor plan. NOT ADA friendly, which is fine, but needs to be pointed out. Overall, a great place to stay, but a little expensive considering the other properties.

Wedding Bells

We were in conatant commication with the owner, upon arrival he greeted us gave us the house rules. Even my 8yr old grandson told him how nice of a property he had! Our daughter was getting married, so we didn’t get a ton of time there, but the beds were outstanding, showers were heavenly, and the property is majestic! The waterfall in the woods out back was amazing. We will return for another visit for sure!

My family of 5 enjoyed our stay. My brother came up for the night after a stressful day. We enjoyed siting at the firepit just relaxing and talking about almost anything. The cleanliness of the house was a plus having a 1 year old crawling and walking . I wish I had one extra day.

Beyond perfection!

An exceptional family retreat

I almost hesitate to add a good review in case I want to come back and find it booked! My family and I had a wonderful time in this quiet, comfortable home. We found the completely stocked and equipped kitchen to be exceptionally useful, and we appreciated the mountains of creature comforts available to guests, as well as the effectiveness of the AC and heat. I would be pleased to find an occasion to return. My only nitpick would be the noisy floorboards, it was hard to sneak out in the morning for a bike ride without waking up the house. It's so quiet out there!

Comfy and relaxing weekend getaway

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate Valentine’s Day and our Anniversary. We couldn’t have chosen a better house to make precious memories and enjoy our time! The cabin was extremely clean and welcoming. We instantly felt at home as we relaxed by the fire of the pellet stove. Jason, the host, was super helpful and accommodating during our stay. He was very communicative and gave us excellent recommendations for outings and local restaurants. The kitchen had all the essentials for us to cook up a romantic Valentine’s Day meal. We also enjoyed local eateries, as the location is 5 minutes from downtown Roscoe. Without a doubt we will come back and rent from Jason again. We truly loved our stay!!

Lovely cabin in the woods

The place was quiet and cozy with all the amenities you would want from home. Big deck, cozy living space, and fire pit area. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. Jason, the host, was communicative and accommodating. He met us at the house to show us around and how things worked (I.e. fireplace, Bluetooth speakers, etc). We took the path to see the waterfall on the property which was very cool (it can be slippery if it has recently rained so have appropriate shoes - they do have walking sticks at the house). Also, if someone needs a very dark space to fall asleep to bring a sleep mask if you stay in the loft area instead of the rooms. We will definitely stay, again!

secluded nature wonderland with waterfall

Jason was a very attentive host, doing his utmost to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. The cabin is located in a serene wooded area, quiet and perfect for our getaway. The whole cabin is airy with large windows, clean and artfully decorated creating a peaceful relaxed mood. There is central air and the large loft bedroom which is open to the downstairs and really more of a suite with couch and skylight windows, stays comfortable, has its own full bathroom. The kitchen is clean and stocked with many ingredients. They welcomed us personally on a chalkboard. The most amazing extra is the waterfall which is a small hike down to the water but worth it! It is awesome! Restores body and soul. Thank you Jason we had an amazing time!

It was a dream!!

My family and I had the pleasure of spending our Christmas at this lovely property. The owners were incredibly attentive and helpful, before even arriving I knew we’d have a pleasant stay just by the care the owners showed. The house was immaculate. When I arrived Alexa was playing Christmas music softly as the fire roared. The delightful Christmas decorations and cozy ambiance made everything feel like a dream. It also helped that it was snowing! Everything you could possibly need they have at the house, we didn’t lack one thing. The owner was always available when we had a question, always patient and kind. When we made it down to the waterfall, we were mesmerized. It was truly a winter wonderland. We couldn’t believe our eyes. It was the perfect experience and we’re already discussing a date to return. Pictures don’t do it justice.

The cabin is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean.Jason, our host was there to meet us and acquaint us to the cabin and surrounding property.The waterfall is a short walk and easy to get to on a marked trail. My husband and I stayed here with our pup and had a wonderful time! We wanted a break from the city where we would be in total peace and seclusion, and this place really delivered. The home is so thoughtfully decorated - it was the perfect blend of modernity and classic log cabin. The kitchen is fully stocked and has everything you need, including spices and kitchen staples. We were very impressed with all of the lighting and how all of the switches are clearly labeled. I particularly enjoyed the large jacuzzi tub upstairs each night. And the property is STUNNING! We spent a lot of time in the woods and at the waterfall. The only "downside" was that there are no screens on the windows, except for the door out to the patio, so you couldn't open the windows and listen to the sounds of nature and feel the breeze. Other than that, it was a perfect accommodation and we can't wait to come back again!

Our stay was fantastic! Quiet and beautiful setting was enjoyed by all. Great location for exploring the area as well. We were sorry our stay was just 3 nights. Everyone is already talking about visiting again, for longer!
