Thank you for your review. Most guests staying at the Sandpiper are guests that have stayed in the past. The tropical courtyard and swimming pool area are very welcoming. The damage fee is not a deposit; it is listed as a damage waiver and is insurance against accidental damage. This is a common fee with vacation rentals. Upon reading your review, we immediately had the carpets cleaned in the condo. We would have gladly had new towels brought to you as well. Housekeepers are paid by the unit, not by the hour, so there is no intentional delay on the part of the cleaners or Bender. We regret the elevator outage at such a crucial point of your stay, and we would have gladly assisted you in bringing your luggage down to your car, as we have done for others.
