Unser historisch restauriertes und vollständig renoviertes Gebäude umfasst einen Parkplatz abseits der Straße, einen privaten Aufzug, eine große Piazza und eine Gourmetküche. Das Hauptschlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett und ein großes Hauptbad. Eine antike Treppe führt zum Schlafzimmer im 4. Stock mit 1 Doppelbett, 2 Einzelbetten und einem Vollbad. Ein großes Schnittsofa, eine Kücheninsel mit 9 Sitzplätzen, 2 Flachbildschirme und ein zusätzliches Bad im Flur sind nur einige der Annehmlichkeiten. Das Beste, was Charleston zu bieten hat, lässt sich bequem zu Fuß erreichen. Der perfekte Ort für einen längeren Aufenthalt oder für kleine Meetings oder elegante Dinnerpartys. Nice place

Main floor and master is very nice, outdoor deck is great. Upstairs has no privacy, not closed off and is really a step down for the second room. Not great for two couples. Other than that it’s a very nice place. Street noise in the morning very early is very loud.

This home had it ALL! We truly enjoyed the beautiful and roomy accommodations, location, clenliness, and all the necessities we could have needed! Steven was just a text away and has thought of everything you might need to have a rockstar experience in Charleston! Gorgeous home with some unfortunate deal breakers

First, I must give this VRBO the credit it deserves: Wow, this home is gorgeous. The remodel/decor are like a dream. The kitchen is well stocked. The balcony is spacious & private...we enjoyed many mornings and nights relaxing on the balcony. But, I will say- please believe the reviews that say the street is loud. It is very true...it's as if the sound amplifies off the buildings that surround the VRBO. The bad- The bath in the loft is unusable. The space leading to the bathroom has an industrial sized water heater that produces so much heat that it makes the bathroom unbearably hot, like sauna hot. There also was no hot water in the loft shower, all 4 of us tried, so I doubt it was user error. The really bad- We stayed 6 days...for 5 of those days there was a god awful sewer smell that filled the home. It was incredibly strong in the loft. We promptly let the owner know. He quickly responded and sent management over, we were told this sometimes happens in Charleston and that it would be gone in 24 hours. The smell came and went the entire 6 days of our trip. I used all my perfume trying to mask the smell....the loft windows don't open, so we couldn't vent the smell out of the home. The one day of nasal relief that we received was Sunday- the day that the restaurant was closed. We contacted management again to make them aware that the smell did not go away and requested room spray. The response was kind, very apologetic, and prompt....however, our problem was never solved. We were told "that's Charleston for you" and "the other building smells much worse." I just don't believe it's a Charleston thing. We have friends that were staying 3 blocks away that didn't have any foul odor in their vrbo. In addition, even if this "is a Charleston problem" a simple and very effective solution is an odor tight check valve. The unusable loft bathroom and chronic sewer smell were incredibly disappointing. We paid a lot of $ to smell sewer all week. Property management was sincerely apologetic but that did nothing to fix the problem for us. There was no offer to make things right. No money refunded, nothing. Heck, even dinner downstairs at Stella's would have been a nice gesture....like, "Hey, sorry the home smells so baldy that you have to spray perfume on your pillow to mask the smell long enough to fall asleep....so go get drunk on us- maybe you'll pass out and forget about the smell for a night." *Staff was kind & held our bags after checkout.

Beyond Wonderful!

We have stayed at VRBOs and ABNBs all over the United States and hands down this is my favorite place! Steven's house is beautifully decorated with an amazing kitchen and stocked with everything you could ever need. The outdoor seating area was wonderful to sit outside and have a glass of wine. Steven is beyond kind and accommodating and his restaurant Stella's (on the bottom floor) is spectacular! We cannot rave enough about this VRBO, Steven or Stella's!

Wonderful stay in beautiful Charleston!

Perfect accommodations in an amazing and convenient Charleston location! Steven was extremely helpful and responsive with the whole process and any additional questions. The apartment is even more beautiful in person, very roomy, bright and amazing outdoor deck area as well that we very much enjoyed the whole stay. Beautiful large kitchen, 3 full bathrooms and enormous living room! Would definitely recommend and stay again!!

College Graduation Celebration

My daughter graduated from the College of Charleston over Mother's day weekend. Stella's Penthouse was the perfect place for our family to celebrate. The patio/veranda, kitchen and large island were the main areas guests gathered for a Saturday buffet dinner and Sunday Mother's day brunch. The location was great for shopping and as many out of town guests stayed in hotels off King St Steve was the perfect host, his home was just as described and spotless. The added benefit of the private elevator made loading and unloading the cars convenient as well as bringing items in from the Publix delivery by Instacart. We had dinner at Stella's Restaurant right downstairs, on Friday night and it was fantastic! I highly recommend it. 5 star rating!!

Mt. Pleasant Wedding

We were in town for a wedding in Mt. Pleasant. While we have been to the Charleston area many times, we never stayed this close to King Street. And I am so glad we did. It is a prime location for shopping and restaurants and was a quick uber ride to the wedding. You can not beat this location. And the apartment was so beautiful and spacious - we were sad to leave. I would recommend this place to everyone, you are so close to everything and the accommodations are amazing. And Steven....he is the best to deal with, very attentive and responsive to any inquiries. Will absolutely be back. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Beautiful property, pics don't do it justice. Unit maintains much of the building's historic charm, but is luxuriously updated as well. 3rd floor walk up with optional elevator access. Kitchen & bathrooms well appointed with necesseties, plus extras. Excellent location--1 block from King St, borders College of Charleston, 2 1/2 blocks from Marion Square. Off street parking space, friendly owner, easy check in/check out. Would stay again!

Comfortable and convenient

My husband and I went to Charleston for a mini vacation with my in-laws. Steven's condo is located just one block off of King. Shopping and countless restaurants are within walking distance. You cannot beat the location. The condo was very clean and super comfortable. We have stayed in many rentals and this one by far was stocked more than any other. We placed a Publix delivery order on day one. It was nice to not have to order spices, coffee or paper products. There is no need to pack shampoo or body wash either. In addition to being the most stocked, Steven was hands down the most accommodating host ever! I reached out a couple times with questions and he always responded immediately. He went above and beyond for us and we are very grateful. Thank you for a great stay!

Great location

Perfect location one block from King street. It was easy to walk north on King st and get to many great restaurants, or south and get to lots of clothing stores and shops, or continue south to the battery. The large porch was a nice private outdoor space, great to have during the pandemic. The only negative to mention is that this is directly above a restaurant, so there can occasionally be a little noise or smells from below. Overall, five stars for the location and great space.

The restoration of this building was a labor of love that took almost 5 years to complete. Our Greek restaurant, Stella's, occupies the main floor and is open for Sunday brunch and lunch and dinner daily. The second floor is a banquet space that seats up to 60 guests for all types of parties.
