Perfect location for a Palm Springs getaway

We had a great stay in Warm Sands. The location is very convenient and walkable to all the galleries and restaurants. Check in and check out was easy and Noreen made a point to check in on us during the stay. We had plenty of room and everything was well stocked. The pool was nice to sit next to and enjoy coffee or a glass of wine. The pictures were very reflective of the home. Would definitely stay here again on a return visit! Highly recommend.

Beautiful house with great outside area

The house is beautifully furnished and there is a lot of kitchen equipment, as well as towels and bed linens. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed using barbecue and taking our meals on the nice backyard. The kids loved the pool. The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained. I can absolutely recommend this place.

Nice, big, comfy place.

Roomy, clean, well equipped with utensils. It was pretty chilly in the mornings, but the gas fireplace really warmed us up. Suggestion: I wish there was at least a small chest in the guest bedroom. There were drawers in the bathroom so I used those.

The location was great, the unit was and the four-unit complex was very quiet, with external grounds that were well maintained. The owner was gracious and very responsive to things that needed immediate attention. Suggestions include ensuring there are comprehensive instructions about the unit, and upgrading of very care-worn outdoor furniture. All in, a great place to stay in Palm Springs.

70's revisit

This was the owner's unit in a 4 unit building dating from the 70's. A nice pool area, but an unheated pool. I spent lots of time in the sun but not warm enough yet to venture in. ( my stay was for the month of March). The location is great. About a mile or so from downtown. The area is "rental residential " made up 4, 6, & 8 restored, low level buildings. Most beautifully restored. Lots of Pride flags flying from most building's. The area is very quite. The TV sucks, but that is Spectrums fault. I would return.

Little problems addressed

We had some problems with the tv, but the host called Spectrum multiple times to try to get it fixed. She even was prepared to buy a new tv! The lock on the front door wouldn’t lock from the inside, but my husband fixed it. The host was prepared to call a locksmith to resolve the issue. Some written instructions would have been helpful about the stove, icemaker and heating, but a simple call to the host and everything was taken care of!

Beyond Eclectic

Location was fine and kitchen fully stocked with dishes and pans. Unfortunately the mattresses are broken down and the living room furniture reeks of cigarette smoke - though the property is non smoking. Eclectic decorating. The pool is sun heated so in the early spring still cold.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is very comfortable. Great location close to downtown but in a quiet neighborhood. The pool area is wonderful a nice little oasis. Neighbors are friendly. Highly recommend.

Relaxing in Palm Springs

Our stay in Palm Springs was exactly what we needed for a spring get away. The rental home was very comfortable, especially the beds. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. We have stayed in several rental properties across the country over the last several years and none of them were better stocked than this one. All detergents for dishes and laundry 
all plastic wraps, foil, baggies..etc
 were plentiful. Noreen even supplied some quality shower gels and shampoos! The very best part was the location of this rental. We were within 1 mile of the drug store and grocery store and lass than 2 miles to downtown, yet the neighborhood was always very peaceful and quiet . Nice neighbors and pleasant pool area with plenty of furniture and tables. The pool water was a little cold for swimming ( mid March) , but that did not stop us from enjoying the pool area. Overall.. this home was a good value for the price and I would not hesitate to return .

Terrific location for our two week stay

The location of the condo was absolutely perfect for getting to downtown, the airport, shopping and Starbucks! While we did have a rental car while we were here and had dedicated parking at the condo, downtown is a very inexpensive Uber ride, if you don’t wish to drive. Noreen answered any questions I had and the check-in process was smooth and efficient
was a great winter getaway!

Sunny Oasis

Located in a quiet neighborhood but still close to the action, this was a great place to relax. Loved the pool patio for sitting in the sun. Grabbing breakfast bagels after a short walk to Townie or pastries at Peninsula was a great way to start each day. Wander west to the end of Ramon and you are at the start of a hiking trail. Great way to spend a week.

Wonderful and Relaxing

This property was immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. The house is well equipped with virtually anything you might need for your stay. We were in contact with the owner and she couldn't be more willing to help if need be - fortunately there was no need as everything ran smoothly for the duration of our stay. Very quiet neighbourhood - great for relaxing! Highly reccomended!

Great property

We stayed for a week and had the greatest time. We were looking for a nice, quiet and relaxing vacation and we got exactly that. Pool area was great and the house had everything you could possibly need. Met a couple of the neighbors and they were so incredibly nice. Short 20 minute walk to downtown. We will definitely look to stay here next time we come to Palm Springs! Noreen was the most incredible host and was so prompt about answering any questions we had. It is obvious she takes great pride in her home and has the comfort of her guests at a high priority.

Great place to stay

My teen daughters and I stayed in this place for a week. I was a little unsure of how the shared pool space would work - especially with COVID, but it was not a problem at all. Two of the residential tenants came out and greeted us and made us feel nothing but at home. We’ve stayed at a number of other VRBOs and this one is really provisioned - plenty of towels, all the little things you need and don’t want to have to buy or pack. We had a couple of issues that required us to contact Noreen - coffee maker didn’t work, squeaky shower and a sticky door. Noreen was very responsive. We would definitely come back to this location if we return to Palm Springs.

Our Palm Springs “Getaway “

My husband and I stayed here last week, and I must say this place is a little gem in the heart of Palm Springs. We found it to be extremely comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our time here. The neighborhood is very quiet, and our neighbors were extremely friendly. Noreen is a fantastic host, she made herself available to us with ease. We look forward to coming back again soon

Online listing didn't do justice

Viewing this listing online didn't do this place justice, you should see it in person. The couches will make you forget the place has bedrooms with beds. Despite the hot weather temp, the house was properly cooled without having to run the air conditioner all day. Pool at the backyard, though it was warm but its totally fine as its California's weather, that should be totally expected. The owner was beyond helpful. The location is close to downtown Palm Springs, just a 2 min drive, you don't have to drive far to get what you need despite the owner providing everything needed for your stay. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quite enough to study, or perhaps have that peaceful sleep one longer for. However, staying in a community as Warm Sands is new to me and did come with a shock. That is totally not Noreen's fault or what not. I guess when you go on a getaway, new experiences whether good or bad, are part of it. Still a fantastic place to stay for adults. Overall, to whom ever is reading this review, you should choose Noreen as your host on your trips to Palm Springs.

Great location - Very clean

We enjoyed out stay. The unit was very clean and was well stocked. The beds, linens and towels were great. The neighbors adjacent to the unit were very nice. Probably the one downside was the pool, While it was very clean unfortunately the water was the temperature of a bath tub. It was between 108 & 113 each day while we were there and the pool water was 94. I know because we bought a pool thermometer. It just wasn't refreshing. But overall it was a nice stay and we'd stay here again.

Great little apartment

House was clean and located a short walk from downtown. The house stayed comfortable all day we never had to use heat or air conditioning. Kitchen had everything we needed but on vacation we didn’t do much cooking. Neighbors were quiet. The backyard area was very relaxing but pool was to cold use this time of year. Our 2 weeks went very fast. Thanks for the use of your home.

Perfect Location

We loved the location of this property!! It was a short distance from nearly everything. The unit was clean and comfortable and the neighbors we very helpful. The only down side was that the pool was not heated. We learned that is not uncommon in the desert , but coming from a chilly and wet Pacific Northwest we were hoping for lots of pool time. We would definitely consider this place for our next visit to Palm Springs! Thanks Noreen!!

Excellent Property in Palm Springs

We rented Noreen’s place for our first visit to Palm Springs. She was super responsive to any messages prior to our visit. I had no reason to contact anyone during our stay as she thought of everything in furnishing her unit. There wasn’t a thing we wished we would have had in the unit. Beds were extremely comfortable and linens were super soft! The pool area was a great place to relax in the morning with coffee or in the evening with a glass of wine...very private. We rented a car to explore the area, however it was a nice short stroll to downtown Palm Springs bars, restaurants & shops. The neighborhood seemed very safe for walking around. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again, I only hope it’s available our next trip! Thanks, Noreen for sharing this gem!!!
