La Tortuga # 4 ist auf der zweiten Ebene befindet (ein über dem Erdgeschoss) mit Blick auf den Pool und das glitzernde Wasser von Akumal Half Moon Bay darüber hinaus! Dieses geräumige und schön eingerichtete Wohnung verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer, jedes mit Kingsize-Bett und ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche und schön mexikanischen Fliesen Detail. Das Hauptschlafzimmer hat auch einen riesigen Boden eingelassene Badewanne. Es verfügt über einen großen offenen Wohn- und Essbereich mit Schieberegler, die auf die Terrasse öffnen, BIETEN einen herrlichen Blick über die Bucht. Das Wohnzimmer ist mit bequemen Sitzgelegenheiten und einen Fernseher mit Satellitenempfang. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und verfügt über eine Theke für zusätzliche Sitzplätze. Es gibt WiFi-Internet in der gesamten Wohnung und Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern.


Draußen auf der Terrasse, die die Breite der Wohnung erstreckt, sind Hängematten in der warmen karibischen Brise dösen!


Hacienda de La Tortuga bietet einen sehr schönen Strand Seite Pool, ein hauseigenes Gourmet-Restaurant (La Lunita) und vielen Sonnenliegen und schattige Palmen am weißen Sandstrand vor. Es gibt auch WiFi-Zugang den ganzen Weg an den Strand für diejenigen, die in Verbindung zu bleiben mag, während auf ihre Bräune zu arbeiten!

Hacienda de la Tortuga befindet sich im nördlichen zentralen Teil der Half Moon Bay, nur wenige Gehminuten von zahlreichen Attraktionen wie dem Akumal Adventures Tauchladen. Die Bucht vor der Wohnung ist ideal für Schnorcheln als das Riff an der Küste sehr nahe kommt, und es ist die Heimat einer großen Vielfalt an Meereslebewesen einschließlich gefährdete Meeresschildkröten!

You won’t regret your stay.

The condo was beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked! Our baby loved the foot bath as a splash pad. But the people of the complex really made our stay special! Not mentioned in the listing but there is also an incredible restaurant attached to the condo and a coffee shop across the street. Great location!

Quite and beautiful little town

Upon arrival I was in love with the location. You walk right out the door and you are on the beach. The house had everything that you will need for your stay. Housekeeping was super sweet they came every day to clean for us. The manager Roberto was very attentive to our questions about the little community that we were in. All of the locals that work and live there made our stay that much more special, we felt like we were at home. The local shops and food were great. We will be returning in the future and I would highly recommend this property to families.

Great Christmas Family Stay

The location's good, with a cafe across the road and the on-site restaurant, small local shop nearby and more if walk/drive/take the collective into Akumal village. With the beach and bay outside (you need water shoes if you're going to sea swim), you're petty set for a good, quiet vacation. If you need to work/play, the Internet speed's good which we find essential as we work for ourselves. All in all, a good stay.

Spacious, tropical, peaceful, and kid-friendly!

We were surprised at how roomy the place seemed and spent 10 wonderful days during Christmas at hacienda de tortuga. Note that you must book directly via the condo rental company and the office is there at the condo. The property manager stays on-site and even visited us one evening eve when our shower would not turn off! The restaurant downstairs was one of just a few good and eclectic ones in the tiny bay, and depending upon your activity level you can just walk to yak-ku (5 minutes) or akumal village (20 minutes). There is a 24-hour parking lot security person who walks you to the door at night, plus iguana, coatimundi, agouti, giant hermit crabs, and lots of American expats to socialize with if you like!

Great stay at condo!

We had a great stay at the condo, my husband and I and another couple stayed for 9 days. Half Moon Bay is a quiet location, Akumal Bay is much more active/crowded, so depends on what type of stay you're looking for. The restaurant in the condo complex is very good. The Akumal Direct concierge, David, was extremely helpful, both before and during our stay. He arranged our shuttle from to and from the airport, a golf cart rental, a cenote excursion and a taxi to Playa for a shopping day. The sargassum grass was definitely prevalent, but it wasn't terrible in front of this condo. It was much worse on the south part of the bay. We were able to snorkel directly in front of the condo.

We ate there almost every day not because it was convenient, but because it was the best. The pool was wonderful, the location was quiet, and they did a commendable job battling the seaweed. The seaweed was a shame, and the floor under the ocean was a bit rocky, but that is true in the entire general area. We did have to move to a different unit halfway through our stay because they had to do some repairs, but they were very helpful, apologetic, and accommodating. All in all, it was a very restful and wonderful place to stay.

Great Vacay in Akumal

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Hacienda de la Tortuga Unit 4 a number of times. This time did not disappoint! The location is ideal, on the bay and away from the touristy part of Akumal and close to Yal-Ku. Our new find was The Jungla Cafe literally across the road--excellent for breakfast. Best cappuccino ever! Also appreciate having La Lunita downstairs. The unit was in excellent shape. If you wanted to make an improvement, we'd suggest a ceiling fan on the balcony. Appreciated the flexibility of the housekeeper. Tiny suggestion--put a sign over the toilet paper to remind people to use the wastebasket.

Wonderful Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would definitely stay here again. I loved the view, the cleanliness, the onsite restaurant, the pool, the beach access... Sometimes we felt like we had our own private beach. Someone came and cleaned daily, and the parking lot attendants were very helpful as well. The only thing I would have liked more is if there were some sort of laundry service, but I took my laundry to the pueblo and got it washed there which was easy enough with a car. The AC in the bedrooms work great. Unfortunately there is no AC in the main part but the ceiling fans worked well and even in July it wasn't too hot to spend time there. Also, I felt very safe the entire time with my two kids. All in all... great stay! Thank you!

Beautiful half moon bay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved this place. Setting on the beach is perfect and we were surrounded by turtle nests and even saw some hatch. A few restaurants in walking distance (very good restaurant underneath the apartment) but a golf buggy or car helps to get around. Sea and sand are beautiful but beware of sargasso problem some months. We walked up to the main beach which is very nice and where the seaweed was cleared. Denote/lagoon within 5 min walk was beautiful and not crowded. Apartment didn’t look very special from the outside but very nice inside and had everything needed for a great holiday. We would say this part of Akumel is for independent travellers who want to be away from all-inclusive resorts. We loved it for a week and then headed to Tulum for a contrast.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely loved our stay at Hacienda de la Tortuga Unit 4. We had everything we needed and the hosts were at hand to help within minutes of any queries or questions we had. The location is amazing, first floor, high ceilings, light and spacious open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area looking on to the balcony over looking the pool, facing the beach.Light beaming across the whole apartment as windows & patio run the full width of the building.Both bedrooms were really well presented, the bed in the master was amazing - I had the best nights sleep and made a point of telling everyone how I dreamt every night I slept there whilst on my holiday. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need including a welcome tray upon arrival. Housekeeping service was spot on and very thorough. We couldn’t have wished for a more chilled/ relaxing time whilst in Akumal. Thank you

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hacienda de la Tortuga #4. We had stayed in this complex on our first visit to Akumal 22 years ago and little had changed. The unit was clean and spacious. The daily housekeeping service was a welcome treat. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the patio overlooking the pool and ocean each evening. During the day, we could always find a place on the beach to relax and enjoy snorkeling and lying in the sun. We walked into the main part of Akumal each morning and evening for breakfast and dinner and loved the food at each place we tried. We took an airport transfer to and from Akumal and had no need for a car during our stay. We snorkeled at Yal Ku Lagoon one morning because the winds were too strong on the ocean. We also went on a fishing excursion through The Akumal Dive Shop. My husband reeled in 5 fish and the ride was wonderful! We are looking forward to visiting Akumal again next year!
