We arrived earlier than expected and were told we’d receive a text when our room was ready. By 4 p.m., no one had contacted us. The only communication we received during that time was to push us toward timeshare presentations.We booked and paid for a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom “luxury” condo. At check-in, they tried to place us in a 1-bedroom unit. After insisting on what we reserved, they eventually gave us a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo that was outdated, faced a parking lot, and was in the section of the resort undergoing construction.Shortly after arriving, my son slipped and fell on a wet concrete floor in full view of staff. No one checked to see if he was okay. Inside the unit, the toilets barely flushed, and the temperature was inconsistent throughout the space.We spent most of our time visiting family at other resorts because our accommodations were so unpleasant. I asked for the manager on duty during the check-in issue, but instead of simply giving me a name, they brought the manager over, by that point, I was already late for dinner and behind schedule.This was, without question, one of the worst vacation experiences we’ve had.
