Great location

Property was very spacious. It is much bigger in person. Extremely close to the beach less than a 2 minute walk. Host provides you with pretty much everything you need . Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Family Vacation

Our stay was fantastic!! The house has lot's of space and the wrap around deck was nice to relax on in the evening. I liked the screened part also. All the comforts of home and more. The kids all had fun at the beach which is about a 2 minute walk from the house. Very quiet relaxing area with access to anything you need. Lisa and Dave are great at making sure your stay is top notch. Would highly recommend this property to famiies wanting to come to the Myrtle Beach area.

Nice place to stay.

Ties is a very nice place to stay. We stayed with our children and grand children over Thanksgiving. This is the second time we've stayed here. You feel like you're at home. Well stay here again in the future.

Wonderful house and great location

We enjoyed our stay at this house in N. Myrtle Beach. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach. The property is very roomy and there was plenty of space for everyone. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and very clean.

Great getaway house

I took my family to the beach for Thanksgiving weekend. There were 5 adults, a three year old, a 3 month old and the Cocker Spaniels. Plenty of room and beds for a lot of people. Would enjoy renting again.

Family birthday celebration

We had a wonderful vacation at this property. I can not say enough good things about the property, location and the property managers. They were extremely easy to work with and were very timely in their responses. The house met the needs of our family perfectly. The size of the home was just what we needed. We spent a lot of the time in the kitchen cooking as a family and enjoyed the large island. Our family celebrated two birthdays during our stay and this was the perfect location. The photos and description provided was accurate. The home was well stocked, we had everything needed for this trip. The supply of games and books were also appreciated. I was initially concerned about the walk to the beach, but upon arrival was pleasantly surprised at the short walk. The walk to the beach was not dangerous and we were very thankful for this as we traveled with 3 children under the age of 3. Our dogs loves sitting on the deck as much as we did during our stay. It was lovely being able to rock on deck while looking at distant ocean views. Thank you for renting to families with dogs as this is hard to find. Thank you for sharing your lovely property with us. We would definitely love to stay here again to make additional family memories.

Excellent beach cottage!

We had a wonderful stay at Sixpence. The cottage is spacious, very clean, comfortable, and has everything you’ll need for your beach getaway. The ample seating in the living room was so convenient, the beds were all comfortable, and the porch is big with a screened in section and several rocking chairs. Beach access is very close, easily walkable. We rented a golf cart, too, as there was plenty of Passport (small fee) parking at the public beach access area and riding the cart around the neighborhood was a lot of fun. The property manager was always just a message away and so helpful and kind. We are very grateful that we were able to enjoy Sixpence and the Crescent Beach area. We would definitely stay again!

Cozy and comfortable beach house

We stayed over new years with our kids and loved the house. It was so comfortable and roomy for 2 adults and 5 teenagers. The close access to the beach was perfect. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again in the future :)

Great stay!

Everything was great for our stay. Lisa was very accommodating for my last minute booking. House was clean and well equipped. As a note, there is both a Keurig and regular coffee pot. Only problem is the kitchen faucet needs to be replaced. It makes a horrible sound and someone put a hair elastic on the spray button as a very poor fix. All in all, we would definitely recommend staying here. Very short walk to the beach.

Thanksgiving Escape

We loved Sixpence! We were able to take quick walks to the beach. Enjoyed having lunch on the screened porch. Beds were comfy! We appreciated how well equipped the house was to include great Wi-Fi and necessary kitchen supplies. We were thankful for the opportunity to add a day to our stay. Lisa was most helpful throughout the entire process!

Wonderful cozy home

Our family chose sixpence for our annual vacation and this was our favorite home we’ve stayed at so far. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine on the counter and a note with everything we needed to know about the home. The screened in porch was awesome for playing cards outside after the kids went to sleep. Walking distance to the beach made it easy to quickly haul sleepy littles back. The beds were comfortable and the couches were as well. The entire home had everything we could possibly need and more. The owners truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home while we were on vacation. We would be honored to stay again next time! :)

Sixpence was built in 1939 and has been in our family since 1956. It is a wonderfully comfy and loving beach cottage. While the beach area has continued to grow and change Sixpence is a wonderful reminder of classic beach traditions.
