We love spending quality family time here, and we are lucky enough to be able to holiday with both our daughters and their grandparents. The cottage is perfect for us, and we love that the cottage is so well located within the town. Each day we walked up to IGA and the local bakery for our daily supplies. As a family we love sitting on the verandah watching the ocean while eating our lunch or afternoon tea, doing puzzles, sewing and relaxing. We will be back again next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cole Cottage was clean, tidy and well equipped for our group of 6 people. Its an older style home, but is very comfortable. Having meals on the front verandah in full view of people walking down the footpath was a bit weird at first, but we soon slowed down to "Kalbarri Time" and it wasn't a problem. Was good to be able to wake up, go out the front door and look down to the ocean to see what the water was like - early morning fishing, or afternoon fishing. The only negative was that there were only 5 coffee cups, so one person always missed out on their morning coffee, or had to wait for someone to finish, then wash the mug. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This must be our eighth family holiday to Cole Cottage and once again, it didn’t disappoint. This place has everything you need and nothing that you don’t. You can park up your car and walk to the river, the IGA, the cafe , the bakery or even Finlay’s (if you had one too many ales). All this and such a great view from the deck with a beer or cuppa in hand. Spent a lot of time there. The house is great too - you wouldn’t call it luxurious but it has everything we look for in a relaxing break in Kalbarri. The only feedback I would give this time would be that a larger doona for the queen bed would be helpful as would a new dinner set.

The cottage was very clean, had everything we needed, was very private and in an excellent location. We could see the river from the front deck. At night we saw some kangaroos and the next day an emu! Check in was so easy and the directions to the cottage very simple. The staff at the office were very friendly. We would highly recommend staying at the cottage and would love to return soon. A wonderful stay :)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This would be the eighth time, the Manning’s have stayed at Cole Cottage and we love it to bits, we have so many fond memories there. Great location with no through traffic and a priceless view to the river mouth. What more could you ask for? An easy to manage household that can accommodate an extended family holiday means a relaxing break for everyone. Walking distance to IGA, cafes, beach and the BAKERY. Every time we come, the owners have upgraded something so it’s a game to guess what it might be. As a family we were concerned that Cole cottage may not have survived Seroja and we were so pleased to see that it did... with damaged fencing? We love this place and have booked again for next year. Only improvements we can suggest would be a couple of cutting boards, sharper knives and a new plug for the kitchen sink

Reviewer Comments: Great homely feel about Cole Cottage, plenty of room, well equipped for self catering holiday providing comfortable bedrooms and entertaining areas.The only downside was no Wifi coverage, easily overcome with Hotspot.The only other complaint was the BBQ although the plates were clean, no one had cleaned the overflow fat and we had a fat fire when we lit it. Let it burn out, cleaned it out properly the next day and we were back in business.Highly recommended for family up to six people, a lot cheaper than hotel accommodation.

We thought we just about have to take everything after reading the emails after we booked So ..we where very pleasant surprised how wel equipped the cottage was and the lication was petfect too

Kalbarri experience

A lovely little cottage which was well presented. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was very well appointed and location was excellent. We would recommend to others.
