Great Stay

The house was as advertised, everything was easy to find. Beds were comfortable, house was clean upon arrival and communication with host was amazing. Would definitely return and recommend!

Home Away from Home

Our work crew stayed here while working in the area. The home is very spacious and located in a nice neighborhood with a great view of the mountains. The pool, hot tub, sauna and game room offered a nice place to relax after work.

Amazing spacious home

Christmas with Friends

Our experience at this home was amazing. 5 couples and their infants stayed here to celebrate an early holiday and we had a blast. The homeowner was easily accessible and super accommodating. We left something there and the homeowner was even kind enough to ship it the next day! I definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect group getaway

This house is awesome! There are so many rooms, everyone can have their privacy. The kitchen is huge and beautiful. All amenities are functioning perfectly. The neighborhood is quiet and serene. Gorgeous sunset views from the deck and close to good hiking and eats. Highly recommend for a group of friends or large family gathering!

Amenities Galore

This house was our destination for an annual reunion with extended family. There were 8 adults and 3 young children in all. The house was exactly as listed and the location exceeded our expectations. Everyone enjoyed the game room, the pool, the hot tub and the sauna. The host was a great communicator from the point we made the reservation in January and during our stay. A really nice property. Would absolutely book this again in the future.

Great winter weekend!

Beautiful, large house on a hill! Perfect for some short sledding with the kids. Had a great time having several family meals utilizing lots of dishware and pots and pans. (Be sure to bring dish towels and paper towels!) The kids--and adults--had a blast in the basement with all the game tables. (Bring a sweatshirt--it's cold down there and as previous guests have stated, the pool table has seen some better days, but still usable) We all enjoyed the hot tub, although it took a long time to warm up. Perfect distance from Blue Mountain and Shoprite is right down the road! The owner was helpful and quick to respond if and when we needed assistance.

We were three days in the house, and since we entered the house, everything was very stressful, the owner of the house spends all his time looking at the cameras and licking the guests, they do not let them enjoy their stays, we feel restricted and harassed, until the firefighters sent us to the house at 4 in the morning due to an alarm that asked for a code that the ninca wanted to give us and nevertheless wanted to charge by house one of the people who were in the house but did not obey sleep in the house, even the infants tell them, there was not a moment of peace in that house

Unfortunately, after speaking with 5 different family members they lied about their reservation and continued to lie. Their reservation indicated 4 people but in fact 20+ people came. This was an issue for me and I spent hours trying to explain how the home is priced. We even got VRBO on the line and they explained to Ana that she was incorrect and there was an additional cost for having that many people. Secondly, the fire department came because they decided to smoke inside the basement when that goes against the house rules. I did not know why the alarm turned on (since they did not communicate with me after the above incident) so for the safety of the people and the home I told the alarm company to dispatch the fire department. Yes it was at 4 AM but with no communication I did what was right in terms of safety. It's sad that after speaking for hours with the whole family when they arrived that I have certain rules in the house (even though I sent it to them previously) they disobeyed them and did not want to resolve the anything. This put my home at risk and I'm sure other owners would have kicked them out. We had our cleaning crew speak with them a few times so we can resolve the issues for them to enjoy their stay but they even had a difficult time with this group.

Amazing family vacation

We had an amazing vacation at this property. Simon was communicative and helpful before and during our trip. The house was extremely clean when we arrived. We had plenty of room for our group. We had a lot of fun in the basement game room as well as in the pool. We loved visiting Beltzville Park and Lake. Would highly recommend this property.

Great Stay for a Large Group

Our group of 12 friend/couples had a great time staying here. The house has everything you could ask for on a summer getaway -nice pool and lounge area, downstairs game area, sauna , screened in hot tub. Simon was very communicative and worked with us on our check in time. It wasn’t perfect - pillows could use an upgrade, there wasn’t enough toilet paper for our 4 day stay, WiFi was weak at times. But nothing enough to really negatively impact the stay - we had a great time and would come back.

Great propert!

Huge space that was perfect for our group of 8. Hot tub was lovely but did take a night to warm up. Towels and linens are provided, but be sure to bring clear trash bags, basic cooking ingredients, and paper towels! Ski weekend Getaway

This property is large, for the 8 of us, there was more then enough room. The house was close to Blue Mountain. There is a Weis supermarket that is conveniently nearby. There were a few noticeable wear and tear items, ie previous renters denting walls with cue sticks, but nothing that should deter anyone from renting the property. Our group enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna and all the space the property had. Since its pandemic time,eating out wasn't really an option, so we did have to utilize the kitchen utensils and cookware. Next time I would bring my own, just to ensure I had the proper items needed. All in all, it was a great time in the Pocono Mountains.

A wonderful Poconos getaway!

We had a great time! The house was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable - as advertised on VRBO. We really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna after coming back from our outdoor activities in the cold. We played ping pong, air hockey, and non-stop pool in the game room. Seymon (Simon) was easily accessible by messaging and/or phone, and answered all of my questions - such as how to operate the hot tub. Would definitely consider staying there again. Simon - my only suggestion is providing instructions for using the hot tub and sauna.

Wonderful weekend!

The pictures do not do this place justice! The house is so beautiful and the amenities were exactly what my friends and I needed for some much needed time away from our everyday hectic lives. Everything from check in to check out went smoothly and Simon was great when it came to any questions or concerns. All the linens and towels were provided and he left very clear instructions. The one thing I would advise future guests to do is to bring the small things like toiletries for the bathrooms and condiments for cooking. Overall it was a great trip and we can't wait to be back in the summer time to make use of that gorgeous pool!

Saylorsburg Weekend

The house was very nice and the owner Simon was wonderful to work with. I went with 11 of my friends that range in age from 26 to 64 and we had a great time. We were 1.5 miles from our favorite winery Blue Ridge. We also rented a limo van to go to dinner at Double Cut at Kalahari Resort which was absolutely delicious. We had a private room and our favorite waitress Keri took care of us. The house was more than big enough for all of us. The guys all utilized the fire pit Friday and Saturday night. Saturday during the day some of us went to the basement and played Ping Pong. There is also Air Hockey, a pool table and a poker table in the basement along with a tv and 2 sofas. The kitchen was more than large enough for several of us to work in and prepare meals. The kitchen table seats 6 and the dining table seats 12 very comfortably. We've already talked about renting this property again in the late spring or summer as there is a built on pool. However, we also now know what else to bring extra. They supt sheets, towels and toilet tissue. But you get 1 towel per person (I personally use 2) and 2 rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom, which there are 3. While that seems like enough there is no extras if you run out. You would also need to bring hand towels for each bathroom along with paper towels and kitchen towels. There is a dishwasher, which they do supply dishwasher detergent, but you still need towels to dry some items. You will also need black trash bags and CLEAR bags for recycling, which are not included. I would also bring your own kitchen sponges and Lysol Wipes to wipe down all the counter tops. Maybe also Brillo for the pots. All in all it was a fabulous weekend with great friends and we will definately come back.

Beautiful, relaxing, and fun

The house was gorgeous and accurate to the pictures. My friends and I had a great time with all the activities in the basement and the hot tub. Linens and towels were given and the kitchen is well stocked with cups and plates. The outside is also beautiful. Will visit again! A few tips for future visitors: 1. The tvs aren't the most intuitive to use, we had to fiddle a bit. Maybe having some instructions would help? We just ended up plugging our computers into them to watch shows instead of the smart tv features. Not a big deal. 2. Two of the bedrooms are behind a 2 door bathroom so plan the sleeping situation accordingly. There might be minor inconvenience when people want to leave the top floor but someone has the bathroom door locked.
