Al Manar

Ein riesiger Steinofen im Herzen von Al Manar bildet die Kulisse für Ihren fantastischen Strandaufenthalt in diesem hellen, ruhigen und komfortablen Gebäude auf drei Ebenen, nur wenige Schritte vom Strand in Waldport entfernt. Bei einem lodernden Feuer im Kamin können Sie und Ihre Gäste auf den geräumigen Sofas sitzen und sich unterhalten oder fernsehen oder sich am Esstisch versammeln, um den Meerblick und das gemütliche Ambiente dieses reizenden Dreistöckigen zu genießen. Eine tiefe, voll ausgestattete Pantryküche bietet alles, was Sie zum Essen brauchen. Die Schlafbereiche sind vom Versammlungsraum abgetrennt, mit den Kindern in Doppel- oder Etagenbetten und einem eigenen Badezimmer im unteren Eingangsbereich sowie zwei Schlafzimmern mit Queensize-Bett und einem Bad im Obergeschoss. We appreciate the vintage charm of the townhouse and quiet beach. Felt like Grandma's place at the coast. The fireplace was a major draw for us. There were sand toys for kids and easy access to the beach. No sandy kids in the car. Now if you're bringing little little kids with grabby hands, you will need to put some things up as you settle in and there's is no railing on the deck, with about a foot and a half drop. The view is beautiful and calming, though. Feels private and quiet.As we left we noted a few things we found needed repair with the property manager. Quick, easy, painless. It'll stay on our list of places to stay for this beach.

Yes had everything that would be needed. I wanted a larger pan because I was cooking spaghetti so i bought one and left it there. But there was a good selection already there.

Location was wonderful, the rocking chair was broken, doesn't rock, and the burners on the oven weren't plugged in properly causing us to have to problem solve in order to cook. Overall amenities were nice.

A great house for family getaways

We had two families staying together. The two teenagers had the downstairs to themselves and it worked out great. There was a nice group area and the kitchen was awesome!! We enjoyed ourselves very much.

What a lovely and enjoyable place There's a really well appointed kitchen and the games closet is great! The only thing in the negative was that we didn't really care for the polyester sheets on the bed.

Beautiful view and accomodating for young kids!

I absolutely loved my stay at this beach house! The large room with 2 bunk beds and the space was fantastic for one or two families! I appreciated the ease of the streaming devices and the view was unbeatable. Just a side note, if you had a pack n play stored for useage, that would have been the cherry on top. Cant wait to come again. We even chose to stay an extra night!

Reviewer Comments: Place was very clean, a little dated but would definitely replace the blue side chairs in living area, no working fan in upstairs bathroom and down stairs bunk bed needs some work, a little wobbly when some one sleeps in the top bunk.

We reviewed the notes on your reservation and do see a comment about some stains on the carpet and a request to add a day to the reservation, but no mention of dirty sheets & dishes. Quiet but lacking pizazz....

Property was clean ..except for carpet which was quite soiled. The mattress on the bed we slept in was not comfortable...we found ourselves struggling to stay out of center due to the mattress. The tables and furniture all are very worn looking. Overall the house just feels like it needs updated to give it some pizazz.

We enjoyed our stay. Pros: + Clean + Great view + Easy beach access + Good property layout Cons: - One rickety bunk bed - was too high / close to the ceiling for some of our children; the bottom seemed close to falling apart (maybe needed some screws tightened). We adjusted by placing mattresses on the floor, which worked fine. - One of the stove burners was not working. The property manager left a set of plug in burners, so this was not a big deal. There was a portable heater in the downstairs bedroom, which was a nice surprise because we brought our own portable heater. We’re glad that we did because the downstairs heater was too loud at night for our children, so we used our portable heater.

Filthy house with geat view.

Does not match the photos. Stains on floor, carpeting and chair pillows. Dust and dirt build up on baseboards, lamps and wall hangings. Brought firewood but so much creosole build up, did not look safe. FP screen filthy, large broken surface on hearh repaired with glue. Blankets and bed pillows with body odor..Could use deep cleaning, carpet removal, bunk bed mattreses too high and too thin and no liquid handsoap anywhere. Great views and beach acess. .

Definitely a home that allows pets.

Nice quiet location in a residential area. Not overly crowded though. The house is definitely a house that allows pets. It has a mixed pet/musty ocean smell inside, and was fairly strong. Also, there are numerous scratch marks on the back of the downstairs bedroom door presumably from dogs being kept in that room. We stayed during some very cold nights and unfortunately the downstairs bedroom (with the bunk beds) doesn’t have heating other than a small space heater you plug in. Once it was on for a while the room finally warmed up. Beach access is on the side of the fourplex and not directly behind it on the path leading down to the beach, as this one became marshy really quick. Fireplace is in working condition which was nice during the cold nights. Otherwise older and outdated inside.
