Family Beach House - zu Fuß zum Strand und den Geschäften

Family Beach House befindet sich in fußläufiger Entfernung zur Main Street und den Geschäften der Venus Bay. Geschäfte umfassen Gemischtwarenladen einschließlich Spirituosen, Friseur, Apotheke, Souvenirladen, mehrere Imbissbuden und Cafés. Für umfangreichere Lebensmitteleinkäufe gibt es eine IGA, die nur 10 Autominuten von Tarwin entfernt ist. Das Beach House ist nur zehn Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt.

Das Haus hat zwei Schlafzimmer. Eines mit einem Doppelbett, einem Flachbild-TV und einem DVD-Player. Die zweite mit einem Doppelbett, Etagenbetten und einer Ersatzmatratze. Die beiden Schlafzimmer bieten insgesamt Platz für 7 Personen.

Separate Lounge mit einer neuen Dreisitzer-Couch, zwei Sesseln und Sitzsäcken für die Kinder.

Flachbildfernseher, DVD-Player. Es gibt eine Auswahl an Familienspielen, Kinderbüchern und Spielzeug.

Klimaanlage / Heizung und Deckenventilatoren.

Die Küche hat einen elektrischen Ofen / Kochplatten, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und alle Teller, Besteck, Töpfe und Pfannen, Toaster und Wasserkocher.

Badezimmer mit Waschtisch, WC, Badewanne und Kopfbrause.

Großer umzäunter Hof. Viel Platz zum Parken von Autos und Booten. Ideale Größe für eine Partie Cricket oder Fußball.

Get away from Melbourne to enjoy the Beach and country

The property was clean, comfortable and easy to find. The property owner was available to assist on arrival (we arrived late at night around 9:30pm). We would happily stay again next time at Venus Bay.

Simple Living

The cottage was simple, maybe from the 1940s. So it was beach cottage meets Ikea. Lots of nice decorating pieces, rugs, and doonas. A short walk to town, and not too far to fabulous beaches. A troop of little blue wrens, and a charming host.

Cute little cottage

Good stay, we did enjoy the accommodation. It had everything we wanted. Bit small if staying with anyone outside your own family but perfect for a couple or family. Venus Bay is a very small quiet township so if you want more action like shops and restaurants Inverloch is better. Overall would definitely recommend this house and Michelle was very informative over the phone prior to us leaving.

Cozy, relaxing getaway

My friend and I had such a lovely stay at Michelle's property. It had everything we needed (even more than what was listed in the ad) and was very clean. Michelle made the check-in process clear and simple, and she also provided us with some great recommendations in the area over the phone. The location was great for access to beaches and local shops, as well as being a great base for day trips to Wilsons Prom and other areas. Highly recommended, thank you Michelle!

Cute little beach shack.

Photos are exactly how it is. This is a typical cute beach shack. Very small, but it works well. Lounge room is very comfy and tidy. Great location, easy walk to shops and beach 3. Walls are very thin, so it's best to stay here with people you know, as you will hear snoring and the t.v. Ha ha. Would recommend this house for those who are easy going and not to fussy.

Quiet get away

Was only an hour from Wilsons Promitory so arrived Friday afternoon, went to Wilsons Prom for most of saturday before a nice meal at the pub 5 min down the road. Its a nice little beach shack and some sand and dust is expected so close to the beach and a busy road but it seems to be kept clean neat and tidy with entertainment on a rainy day (boardgames, books and a few dvds). There is no wifi or internet to interrupt connecting to others and it is nice to have that peace. Close quaters means its slightly too small for adults that dont share a room but perfect for a small family, couple or a solo stay. The beach is a short walk (mind the hill.... its ok on the way down but the way back up....) and there is a foodworkz close by. Its not removed from civilisation but is out of the hussle and bustle. I will be considering this place for the future, when I need to get away.

Cosy long weekend away

My partner, daughter (8) and I loved our weekend away in Michelle’s shabby chic beach home. Check in instructions were clear and easy to follow and the property had everything you needed including sharp kitchen knives (as opposed to the terribly blunt ones you normally get in short stay properties) and, hilariously, a VHS player and an assortment of movies to watch on tape. I’m still laughing at the face our kid made when we informed her she would need to rewind the movie before she could watch it! We walked a loop each day from the property to beach three, through to beach one, then past the shops and back “home”. When the rain came in we had plenty to do with books, games, movies and lots of toys for the kid. Both my partner and I felt the trip felt a little like our childhood beach stays, just more tastefully decorated. We would absolutely book again for more time in Venus Bay. I will note the double beds are quite firm which my partner loved, but next time we will throw in our mattress topper to keep me happy too. If you’re looking for a affordable beach stay for a small family or group, this is the place.

Venus Bay Stay

We had a great time in Venus Bay overall. Lovely quaint cottage. Beautiful area. Beaches are excellent. Anderson Inlet is very pretty and there are lots of birds, especially water birds. Well equipped kitchen. Beds adequate comfort level - though could be improved. Place was a little cluttered and suggest removal of some furniture. Our stay was rather unusual in that when we arrived the hot water was not working. Contact with host led to visit from local representative who immediately fixed the problem. Then on last night due to big storm the whole area of Venus Bay and beyond had complete power out - and therefore could not cook or shower or flush toilet. Suggest owner create a manual that explains how things work in the beach house ie gas hot water that runs on gas bottles, electric pumps necessary for water supply for cooking, showering and toileting. Info on what to do in an emergency such as we encountered would also be helpful. People in local general store were friendly and helpful and gave us good advice about where to get petrol for trip back home. All in all despite the dramas a very enjoyable 6 days.

Cosy and relaxing break away!

Had a lovely, relaxing time at the beach house! Cosy, relaxing space. Loved listening to the rain on the roof on the last night. Great location for just chilling out and taking walks along the beach as well as exploring nearby places like Wilson’s Prom, Gurney’s cidery and Sandy Point/Waratah Bay. Although a beach shack it had no outside access to taps for after beach trips. Has a video player and one very comfy couch for reading. The tin roof on a wet night was great. My son liked the toys.

Comfy beach house close to town and beaches

Comfy, nicely decorated, simple beach house that is a short drive/walk to the town centre. The house had just about everything we needed, from kitchen items to kids games, was clean and had heating and cooling. House is 2 bedrooms plus lounge, not 3 as ad suggests. Good value and served us well for our weekend away in Venus Bay!

A little piece of paradise

A gorgeous little holiday home. Everything was just perfect. Was so nice to have a break away from technology. Michelle the host has offered everything a family may need. From books, games to movies to keep the kids entertained. The kitchen is well equiped. The holiday house has a homely, lived in feel about it. It was a perfect stay for us.
