Der große Wohn-, Ess- und Küchenbereich wurde im Stil eines offenen Konzepts erbaut und bietet Platz für eine 10-köpfige Familie. Die beeindruckend ausgestattete Küche mit ihren Granitoberflächen, Center Island, erstklassigen Edelstahlgeräten und reichhaltigen Mahagonischränken würde jeden Koch begeistern! Der Wohnbereich bietet zahlreiche Sitzgelegenheiten mit einem umlaufenden Sofa, einem 60-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher und vor allem dem herrlichen türkisfarbenen Wasser der Karibik als Kulisse.

Die wunderschön gewölbte Master Suite bietet Meerblick mit direktem Zugang zum Strand und zum Pool und ist mit einem Kingsize-Bett, einem raumhohen Schrank, einer Mini-Split-Klimaanlage, einem Deckenventilator und einem Flachbildfernseher ausgestattet. Ein zweites Schlafzimmer verfügt über 2 Doppelbetten, Deckenventilatoren, eine Mini-Split-Klimaanlage und ein komplettes Badezimmer. The house was amazing! I especially loved waking up to the sound of the waves, sunrise and seeing the waves crash on the beach from bed. The house was very clean and comofortable. THe location was perfect. The neighborhood was beautiful and security was efficient. It was nice to be abl eto walk to 5th Ave but be in the beautiful neighborhood in the jungle with the ruins and the ocean at our front door. We will definately be back to Casa Joya el Mar.

Beautiful safe home with amazing beach access!

Beautiful home with beautiful views! We felt so safe in this home in Playacar phase 1. Mercedes and her team were so helpful throughout our whole experience! We had groceries in the house as soon as we got there. She even helped us coordinate a private chef dinner to come to the house, which was absolutely delicious! She was super helpful and flexible when coordinating our transportation. Highly recommend!

Simply fantastic

This home met all of our expectations and was absolutely fantastic! Our group of four adults and two children had more than enough space and enjoyed everything about it, the wonderful pool, ocean views, sunrises in the morning, close proximity to town, stepping off the cool deck straight to sand, and the list goes on…! The cleanliness, bedrooms, baths and furnishings are on par with 4-5 star resorts. The owner is responsive and arranged for groceries as well as airport transfers to remove any stress. We couldn’t have asked for more and hope to return.

Location location location!

The location was perfect ! The beautiful view of the ocean and the pool and beach right at your back door. The view from the master bedroom was incredible! We walked to the shopping area and had dinner every night. We felt completely safe with the security that was throughout the gated neighborhood. I would definitely come back ! The cleaners came twice in the week and were wonderful ! I’d suggest nicer sheets and definitely better pillows . Amazing house !!!!

Best trip EVER

Man, I can not say enough about this property and overall experience. We had a fabulous time and everyone we communicated with went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous. From the arranged airport pick up to the stocked fridge, and taxi arrangements, the communication was top notch. The area felt very safe and secure. Check in/out gates were always manned and there was plenty do within walking distance. The beach was beautiful, the pool clean… I could go on and on. We hope to visit again soon and will look no further than this property. Phenomenal.

Amazing location & spacious house

The location is as stunning as advertised. Just a few steps from the pool to the beach, and an easy 10-15 minute walk to Playa Del Carmen shops/restaurants. The house itself is very spacious, with en suite bathrooms for each bedroom, and our family had plenty of room to relax. Owner and property managers were fantastic, extremely communicative and promptly answered our questions. I also cannot speak highly enough for our concierge who assisted with all manner of activities. Fixtures and appliances are showing some wear/age, which you might not expect at this price point, but nothing overly major. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

Beautiful beachfront oasis

This house was absolutely amazing! Casa del Mar was beautiful, spacious, and very family centric for our family of 7. The layout of the home invites you to gather: everything from the dining room table, the sofa, the outdoor furniture. The views of the ocean were peaceful and stunning! We really enjoyed hanging out on the covered patio and relaxing in the pool. The kitchen was well appointed, we had everything neeeded for our personal chef to make us delicious meals during our stay. Our host, Merecedes was very communicative and helpful, every step of the way. She helped with our transportation, as well as booking excursions. We all loved our time here and are looking forward to our next trip back!

Perfect Holiday Getaway

Our family was thrilled with this gem of a property right on the beach. Mercedes and the team were super communicative, offering helpful suggestions for shopping, transportation and activities. The house afforded our group of 5 adults and one child plenty of room for privacy and relaxation as well as communal time together for games, meals and planning our day’s adventures. The spacious, well-appointed rooms and en suite bathrooms ensured we never felt crowded. The private terrace with breathtaking ocean views were perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails, unwinding to the soothing sound of the surf. The property offered convenient walking access to local attractions, including the ferry to Cozumel. Even our one day of rainy weather couldn’t dampen our enjoyment. Joya Del Mar was a delightful choice and we hope to return soon!

Wonderful Property

This house is fabulous! It is large and spacious. The kitchen is well-appointed and had literally everything we needed for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids, including more than enough plates, cups, wine glasses and silverware. The location is amazing! The pool overlooks the beach and ocean, which is right off the pool deck. The main downtown area is a short 10 minute walk away through a quiet and secure neighborhood. We felt very safe here. The rooms are all large and each has its own full bathroom. The beds and linens were comfortable. There were more than enough pool and bath towels. Having access to a washer and dryer was key! The air conditioners all worked great. The only small complaint is that the water heater didn’t seem to accommodate everyone showering at once when we were getting ready for dinner, but this was not a major inconvenience given how hot and humid it was … a cool shower felt nice! We loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again.

Place was nice, Security was an issue

The place was very nice and met our expectations. The one big issue was security. Saturday after the house was “cleaned” which we were not notified it would be, 3 credit cards were stolen out of 3 purses and charged a over of 10,000 dollars. Also the owner showed up on Sunday to inspect the house but we were not checking out till Monday. Just make sure if you stay here to not leave any valuables in plain sight. Didn’t think I would have to worry about that in a locked house.

This is completely false. The guest, once he left the property, sent us a message via WhatsApp saying that 3 cards had been stolen and charges had been made for 3000 USD each. He never filed a complaint with the police, nor did he notify you. It should be noted that the guest not only rented this property but had rented another one nearby with friends, which were reported for having parties when it is not allowed, giving access to unauthorized people to enter, so everything the guest says is not true. The person who did the cleaning has been working with us for 10 years and is an honest person whom we trust. The guest had to be charged for a broken jar plus a broken glass tray from the refrigerator. Based on that, he left thereview
