While our property description does not explicitly say that this is a tri-level unit (now updated), there is a photo in our gallery that shows stairs, as well in our description of a first floor bedroom, which implies multiple levels. If you were not sure about what kind of property it was, you could have inquired about the property layout and we could have cleared that up. Additionally, we do have the bedroom on the first level with a full bathroom. A couple days into your stay, I checked to see how you both were settling in and your wife said you were doing great and none of the grievances were mentioned during your duration of the stay. We are available at all times to address any issue. We clean all of the furniture in the unit, including deep steam cleaning, and I check the property before every stay to ensure its cleanliness. That being said, if cleanliness was an issue, we would've taken care of it right away and I will keep an eye on it for the next guests. Our unit does not have a central air system but it does have air conditioning for the top level. We have fans for all other rooms and the first level is generally very cool at all times. We were missing some screens that were damaged and are working on replacing them. The sauna and hot tub certainly work. The sauna is unplugged as the outlet is across the room and presents a tripping hazard, so we show how it is operated when asked. The sauna does require manual operation from the outlet area but it certainly works. However, your wife mentioned that due to certain conditions, you were not planning to use either device, thus we did not go over its operations. As far as leaving a month early, it was stated in a text to me that it wasn't about the other points you brought up for your early departure, but personal conditions that did not allow you to continue your stay. We sympathize with your condition and sincerely hope that your condition improves. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide a refund for early departure, as with any hospitality business, and we're not able to find another party to take over your rental to try to issue a refund. We do our best to ensure everyone has a great stay at our unit, so we do sincerely apologize that your expectations fell short with us. Hi Mitchell, thank you for staying with us and we appreciate you taking the time to review our property. We take any issue to heart to ensure our guests have the best experience possible. On the issue of pests, this is the very first time we've had anyone mention cockroaches and centipedes in the 3 years of managing this property and our cleaners, who are very meticulous, have never brought up this issue. However, if this is something your party experienced, we will do everything to prevent another occurrence for future guests.
