Perfect stay at Bonnie Doon

A group of 5 girls ( over the age of 60) went to stay at this fabulous house on the shores of the lake. There was plenty of space for us all, and we loved spending time on the deck, watching the bird life, and enjoying the serenity. Highly recommend staying here!

Best holiday rental

Beautiful property right on the lake and beautiful views, fishing was great and Ryan even took us out on his speedboat. We have stayed in a fair few holiday rentals and this one is the best one yet. The host Ryan was very accomodating and the neighbours where very friendly as well.

We loved this place. The view from the balcony is incredible, rooms were very clean and double glazed windows kept us warm when it's cold outside. We can say this was the best accommodation we have stayed for our holidys so far. Thank you!

Beautiful home to enjoy lake Eildon

Our family and Labrador thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was well appointed and beautifully decorated with excellent climate control. The view of the lake from the back deck was breathtaking. We were able to easily launch our boat from the property and enjoy watersport activities.

Home away from home

My family enjoyed our time. The dogs especially with the lake and the yard out the back. The view was too good to be true. To wake up to it every morning was just a dream.

Lakeside perfection!

I cannot speak highly enough about this accommodation! My friend and I had a truly restorative long weekend away thanks to the stunning view, the fully equipped house and the wonderful hospitality. Special thanks to Ryan for being so friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend him as a host and the property as a destination. We'll be back for sure!

A beautiful place to stay on the lake

The property is in the best location, right on the water. We visited the week before Xmas and we were lucky the weather was amazing and not many people on the water. It’s a perfectly decorated housethat feels like a home away from home. The decking area is incredible and a fantastic place to chill out when not on the water. The owner was really helpful and approachable. We had a really fabulous trip and can’t wait to visit again soon. 🤞

Beautiful lakefront property

Our family (which consists of three adults and one Labrador) loved our short stay at Pete's Hideaway. We holidayed here some 18 months ago and liked it so much that we came back. The house was very comfortable. We soaked up the views from the back deck which overlook Lake Eildon and the surrounding mountains. The private jetty was great to tie the boat to and made it easy whenever we wanted to go for a ski. Our host Ryan was extremely helpful and ensured that all of our queries were addressed upon checking in.

Absolutely Perfect

Absolutely hands down one of our favourite locations to stay. The house was amazing, the view out on the deck was beautiful, and we loved going for a stroll down to the island and have a fish throughout the day. We had plans to head out for a drive and look around the area, but the car did not move. We loved the place so much we didnt want to go. The worst part about this stay was the fact we had to go home highly recommended.

The property is a beautifully presented 4 bedroom home

Just where you want to be on the lake “front and centre” couldn’t get better if you tried❤️ great for watching all the action on the lake and easy access to launch your boat and keep it out the front where you can see it … amazing , comfortable , clean , huge fire pit and plenty of entertaining areas. Great for the dog and accommodating , but not a fenced yard, but balcony is secure . New laundry facilities , kitchen in the summer would be amazing with all the bifold windows and doors . I absolutely loved this property and everything it has to offer , the Host Ryan is so helpful and a phone call away if you need assistance. Can’t go wrong with this property .

Pete's Place was Perfect

This property was just what we needed. Right on Lake Eildon with gorgeous views. Anna, Ryan and Pete were very accommodating and relaxed hosts - nothing was too much trouble. We felt very welcome. The home, furniture, beds were very comfortable and clean. The kids and dog loved the whole experience and we all wished we could have stayed longer. We will be back!

Pete's Hideaway - Bonnie Doon

Pete's Hideaway was the perfect place for our extended family of eight to get away for the long weekend. The views from both inside and from the deck overlooking lake eildon were sensational. The Kitchen/living room was very comfortable and inviting. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also of a high standard. Ryan was most accomodating, helpful and very easy to deal with. Overall we all were VERY happy with our stay. Keep up the good work.
