Great family villa

The villa was clean and spacious. The neighborhood is was calm and everyone was very friendly and respectful. I would definitely choose this location again. My family that was visiting really liked it there.

Was kind of bummed the pool across the street from us was closed. But we are in a pandemic. Could still use the pool up the street. Condo was great.

Nice location...very spacious. Accommodated all of my guests. Location is NOT in or near Myrtle Beach. Clients had to drive almost 45 minutes to the beach.

Great location. Perfect size for our trip. Two screen in patios. Only disappointment was lack of kitchen wares. All other vrbos Anne been on have stocked well. Too much improvising needed w stocked items.

The dishwasher was almost broke, and the property was not kept up very well.

The property was not kept clean, lots of old furniture around the Clubhouse and pool. The residence I stayed in had ant taps on the counter an d VCR with a tape stuck in it, and an old washing machine under the stairs. The dishwasher was on its last leg. The Garbage disposal did not work and the AC did not cool the living room and kitchen like the rest of the condo.

Long review…but honest. Read before renting here!

6th trip to Sunset beach. We were very excited to stay close to the beach and use amenities this location offered. When booked online, we thought the place looked perfect. Truth is, it was far from it. Don’t believe everything you see and hear, and to be fair…you could choose to except this review or not. Here’s the facts…upon arrival, ants were everywhere!! All over kitchen counters, two of the beds (yes in the actual beds), on the floors throughout the condo, in the showers and on bathroom walls. My kids slept on the couch’s the first night because they didn’t want to sleep in the ant filled beds. I called the management company but got voicemail. I had no choice but to take matters in my own hands. I went and bought ant spray from the store that night and sprayed every inch of that place. Baseboards, counters, bathrooms, kitchen breakfast bar, etc. No call back from management. I called again, and got an answering service. They were no help at all and tried to tell me the condo number I was staying in (Club Villas 8C) didn’t exist. They took my info anyways and said someone would call back the next morning at the latest. They didn’t by the way. Now on to the Other issues…washer did not work. Kept filling and draining but no spin cycle. So we had to hand ring out our “washed” clothes one at a time before we could place in the dryer. Garbage disposal didn’t work and that sink wouldn’t drain properly. The master bedroom shower wouldn’t drain properly and filled with 6 inches of water during every shower. Fridge was not turned on the proper temp prior to our arrival as stated in management’s rental instructions. Each bathroom was supposed to have 4 sets of towels each…there were only 3 sets in each. Two separate light switches made crackling noises when you used them which made me think there was a bad switch or a possible short in the wiring. You had to flick the switch a few times to get the lights to work correctly. The AC was horrible and we ended up buying 2 fans for our stay. In regards to the amenities, the “game room” is tiny. They cram a pool table and shuffle board in a room the size of an average bedroom. Not sufficient in my opinion. I asked the front desk about the ping pong table and they said they don’t have enough room to set it up. The corn hole boards were next to the restaurant in a place where you can’t even move. Pool nice. Trash everywhere though. Mgmt made no attempt to be proactive or value our vacation. Never again.

Clubhouse 10 person unit

The house was infested with ants. As well as outside. Our cars were covered in ants. We couldn’t use a whole couch bc of the ants (in a 10 person unit). They also had one item in the back every drawer and cupboard of the kitchen so some things I didn’t even know we had until it was too late. The trash was never emptied in the 5 days we were there so as the days went on it was smelly and overflowing when we left. I had family in 2 other units throughout the resort with less people that had better items in the house for 10 people. The game room was small as could be and only has a pool table and shuffle board (not what was advertised) and kids have to be accompanied by an adult at all times. I have older kids and this was not advertised or else I wouldn’t of stayed here. The whole point of us getting a resort instead of being on the beach was to be safer for the kids to walk around and hang out. The indoor pool cut up everyone’s feet and gave my brother(19) a huge hole/blister on his foot. The hot tub was dirty. The houses washer didn’t work properly and we had to go spend money on raid and more beach towels. No one got back to me for over 24 hours of the washer not working. They then said we can bring you more towels and I said they could reimburse us for the ones we had to buy and they again stated they would be happy to bring us more and I didn’t hear from them again after I said it’s been over 24 hours no one has responded to us. This was our first vacation in YEARS and I wasn’t satisfied at all with this unit it was very inconvenient to have 10 people in this house with the little amount of things we had compared to other smaller houses. We also had to take trash out from the last people. I would never stay at this resort again

Great place!

We had a great experience staying at Sea Trail. It was just as advertised- no surprises. We also enjoyed the owners personal art work throughout the home. The screened in porch was great. The air kept the house cool and we loved all the fans. There was a big wasp nest right outside the door to our place. We notified the property manager and it was taken care of promptly- they left the dead wasps all over the steps so we had to avoid stepping on them for the remainder of our stay, but other than that, we appreciated how quickly it was taken care of. The pool was nice with plenty of chairs and a great atmosphere. They had live music Saturday evening and we were offered a free appetizer from the Tiki Bar once we arrived. Overall, great trip! We will definitely keep Sea Trial in mind when traveling in the future!

Beach GetAway

Had a great time reconnecting with some old friends from university. We had plenty of space and really enjoyed the closeness to the beach without being right on the water. Great facility and great location.

Spacious villa with many amenities

Absolutely love this comfortable, spacious villa with its many amenities. Heated inside pool, beautiful outside pool, activity center a few minutes walk away, biking, golf, nearby restaurants and the beach within a 10 minute ride. Villa is immaculate with a well stocked kitchen. Beds are very comfortable, Beautiful views and a bird sanctuary. Perfect for families or golf vacation. Will definitely be back.

Villa close to beach and steps from golfing

The villa I stayed at was very well kept- clean, organized, and the colors in the house made you feel like you were at the beach! It was in a perfect place for nice walks in the morning, golfing, and a short drive to the beach. Would definatley recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to stay for a weekend get away or beach vacation!

Well maintained property with modern amenities. Great place to spend time with family or friends after a long day on the golf course or at the beach. Close to Sunset Beach, which was never crowded when we went there. Lots of good restaraunts nearby. Plenty of wineries and some breweries if you enjoy that (we do). Close to Myrtle Beach as well. If you play golf, you can play not only sea trail's courses but one of the several other that are very close by.

Beautiful villa close to beach and activities

This villa was very clean and well kept. We really enjoyed our time there! The neighborhood is full of friendly people and plenty of walking paths. The beach was beautiful and a short drive away. There were also plenty of activities to do within walking or biking distance. Would definitely recommend for a family trip or weekend getaway!
