Larkin Street ist eine schöne, komplett renoviert, 2 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder Wohnung in einem Zweieinheit Edwardian Gebäude auf Larkin in der Nähe von Ghirardelli Square, Aquatic Park, Fort Mason und Marina. Es wurde ursprünglich im Jahr 1913 mit vielen Details wie Kronleisten, Kaminen und Krallenfußbadewannen gebaut. Es wurde vor kurzem mit renovierten Bädern und Küche, brasilianischen Walnussböden im Obergeschoss, und Teppichboden im Schlafzimmer renoviert. Master-Bad verfügt über Marmor, Doppelwaschbecken und Fußbodenheizung. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es in der benachbarten Garage und es ist leicht zugänglich öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (Seilbahn, Trolleybus, Bus und Taxi) zu allen Teilen der Stadt.

Super Unterkunft

Die Wohnung liegt sehr schön zentral, ist geräumig und sehr gepflegt. Wichtige Dinge wie x.B. Tee Salz, Pfeffer, Küchenutensilien sind vor Ort. Ebenso gibt es einen kleinen Corner Shop am Eck und Supermarkt in Laufweite. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und man kann mit allen Fragen zu ihr kommen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Herzlichen Dank! Sehr empfehlenswert

Perfekte Lage

Das Haus befindet sich nur ein paar Schritte vom Ghirardelli Square entfernt. Zudem ist die Cabel Car Station und Fisherman’s Wharf zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Ebenfalls kann man mit denn Bus zum Union Square oder um AT&T Park fahren. Die Lage ist einmalig und der dazugehörige Parkplatz in der nebenanliegenden Garage ist kaum zu überbieten. Vor allen Dingen ist aber das Rooftop Desk zu erwähnen. Es wird zwar auch vom Nachbarhaus mitbenutzt, aber wir haben in den 5 Tagen - außer am 4.Juli - keinen dort angetroffen. Von der Dachterrasse hat man eine tolle Aussicht auf den Hafen und Alcatraz - hier schmeckt der morgendliche Kaffee oder ein Glas Wein am Abend nochmal besser.... Die Unterkunft verfügt über zwei Eingänge und in der oberen Etage wohnt dauerhaft die Hauseigentümerin. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett, zuvorkommend und unaufdringlich - man kann sich jederzeit an sie wenden, falls man Fragen hat. Die Unterkunft selbst ist zweistöckig, wobei die Schlafzimmer im Untergeschoss liegen - die Fenster liegen auf Bordsteinhöhe. Die untere Etage ist durch eine enge Wendeltreppe zu erreichen, wobei Koffer durch einen Nebeneingang in die Schlafzimmer geBracht werden können. Die Wohnung ist großräumig und gut ausgestattet. Ein Badezimmer mit Duschwanne befindet sich in der oberen Etage und ein großes Bad mit großer Dusche und zwei Waschbecken neben dem Hauptschlafzimmer. Das kleinere Schlafzimmer hat nur einen kleinen Kleiderschrank - für unsere zwei Teenager ein wenig zu klein. Ansonsten sprechen die Fotos für sich - es sieht dort genau so aus, wie auf den eingestellten Bildern. Wenn Sie diese Wohnung mieten, werden Sie sicherlich nicht enttäuscht sein.

This home was in the BEST location! There was a roof-top deck with an amazing view of Alcatraz Island, where we spent a decent amount of time, when we were actually in the home. Most of our time was spent exploring everything San Francisco had to offer, and it was a wonderful girl's trip! We were across the street from Ghirardelli Square, and so many attractions were within walking distance! We hired a private driver to take us to Sonoma one day to visit a couple of wineries, and another day for a few hours to give us a tour of the city! We packed a lot into a 6 night stay, and all of us said we will visit again! Our host was very sweet, and had great communication!

Great communication with owner! The home is very clean and comfortable. It’s walkable to so many great restaurants and sights. We parked the car in a nearby parking garage and used Waymo to get around, which was a fun experience for us! I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. 5

The property was easy to find and its perfectly located by the Pacific in the heart of the City. Loves the convenience and the amenities. There is a high level of comfort and safety in the unit. A great place to stay!

What a pleasant and easy stay! We stayed five nights to visit San Francisco with our kids. The house has a second bedroom where each kid could use their own twin size bed. A bathroom downstairs and upstairs made getting ready easier. A Keurig with pods for morning coffee, and a roof deck to drink it while looking at the bay. Fully stocked kitchen, cozy living room, safe locked and well lit entrance.Dede was such an easy host to work with before, during and after our trip. Responses were very prompt and her instructions were detailed.Location is ideal next to Ghirardelli square, two blocks from the cable car turnaround. Plus an optional parking spot to use for a rental car only another couple of blocks. Highly recommend!

Location, location, location with breathtaking rooftop views!

We stayed here because it was a great location! It was walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf, Lombard St, The Palace of Fine Arts and Ghirardelli’s Chocolates (great desserts!) among other sights. Close to a Trader Joe’s. Easy access to bus or trolleys. It had 2 bedrooms and could sleep 4 people. It had a large amount of space with a living room, dining room, kitchen & 2 bathrooms. The shared rooftop deck had killer views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge! The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill flew over the rooftop deck 2 days about 3:45pm each day. It’s worth hanging out on the deck to hopefully catch a glimpse of and hear them loudly squawk.It is walking distance to watch the Sea Lions at the pier. At the Transamerica Pyramid, there is a free exhibit The Vertical City, which displayed some models of the buildings designed by Lord Norman Foster, a world renowned architect. His company also designed the Millennium Tower in Tokyo and 30 St Mary Axe in London. Take a ride in a Waymo, a driverless car. Some tips about the place. The lower bathroom’s hot water is hot so only put it halfway between cold & warm to have a good shower. It has great water pressure.For the Keurig coffee maker, fill it with water, place a mug under it push the big button and wait as there is a slight delay before you gradually hear the water heating up and then it will start dispensing the coffee. Took us a bit to figure out.We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again!

What can I say, what a beautiful location, the townhouse was beautiful and so well cleaned and ready for us. Working with the owner was such a delightful experience. She was so easy to get a hold of and even waited for us to arrive. If you have a choice don’t hesitate to choose this location. So well worth the cost definitely staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay in Dede’s house. The house is really nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, the rooftop patio, and you just can’t beat the location! Dede was a great host. Great Location, Nice place, but Noisy.

We had a nice stay here. The host was great. Very responsive. What bothered us though was the noise. There is construction going on next door. A large apartment complex is being built and the workers work from about 7am until 5pm and on Saturday. I wish this was disclosed in the description. Also the Ghirardelli tower is being renovated so it is cloaked and scaffolded. The view doesn't quite match the photo. Obviously the host is not responsible for this, but again, it would have been nice to have it disclosed. Location is great, but street noise is substantial It is a city after all, however I am a former San Francisco resident and some streets are noisier than others. On Friday night a motorcycle cavalcade of about 20 motorcyclists decided to pull up and linger and rev their engines for about 30 minutes. This was really disruptive to our rest. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again for these reasons.

Perfect Location

This was a wonderful place. It was a very clean, up to date condo with more amenities than you’ll need. The rooftop was a great addition! Our family visited on a very busy weekend but the location made it so convenient (food and entertainment) that we never moved our car the entire time. Communication with the owner exceed our expectations. She was wonderfully helpful and completely accessible for any questions or concerns. We will definitely visit again!

This quirky house checked all the boxes for us. The only caution is that there is construction next door as well at Ghirardelli Square. If you are up early and out the door to see the sights, it is not an issue. I would stay here again.

When you stay here, you will be just a cable car ride away from Union Square in San Francisco and a bike ride away from the Golden Gate Bridge. On Friday night, walk to Fort Mason where they circle the Food Trucks. Take a trolley to the Ferry Building to visit an amazing farmer's market on Saturday morning. Catch a cab on the corner to the best restaurants in the world. You will be a 15 minute drive to Sausalito and an hour away from Muir Woods or the Napa and Sonoma wine country.
