Great place and location

It's a very nice place and the location is great. Its not a professionally managed house which is fine, but we didn't know that going in. Everything is clean, but not professionally clean i.e. the sheets are clean but the mattress pad was not. I would stay there again.

We appreciate the feedback, however, we want to remind potential renters that we use VRBO because the service provides owners the ability to manage the property. Our property listings are transparent and list the owner as the property manger. We contract with a local cleaning service, we have local contractors maintain the yard and the repairs and upgrades to the house. Additionally, many owners block time to use their property for themselves, friends, and family. We continue to keep the linens, towels, furnishings, and kitchen supplies updated within reason.

Perfect Cottage and Location

My husband and I visited St. Michael’s for our 20th anniversary. This cottage was exactly what we were looking for. It is central located so we were able to walk everywhere. The cottage had everything you would need to have a fabulous stay. The town is charming and the people are just as charming and welcoming.

Needs More Attention to Detail

It’s a cute house in a good location. I got to check in early which was nice. Compared to other places I’ve stayed, it just didn’t feel as welcoming. There are a few nits: 1.) Listing says it comes with toilet paper but there was less than a half roll in each bathroom. Had to leave and go get more. 2.) I had expected to be able to watch live TV given the listing indicates cable but it was not functioning. I was there for a half Ironman so I wasn’t really in town to go out a lot and wanted to stay in and relax before the race. The owner contacted the provider but nothing materialized. So, 3 days no TV. 3.) At 6:45 a.m. the day I was departing the cleaning service showed up. It was kinda a bummer because I had done the race the day before and was enjoying a quiet/relaxing morning. I told her I would be gone in an hour or so but she still came in, stripped the beds and started doing laundry. At that point I just loaded my things and left. It was weird to have a stranger come in the house while I was still there, and I didn’t invite her in.

Lovely property located in the heart of St. Michaels.

We travel to St. Michaels every year for the wine festival. This was the perfect location to enjoy all that downtown St. Michaels has to offer.

Wonderful place to stay in St Michael's.

Property is absolutely gorgeous and the location was incredible for the seaglass festival. It is so close to all the restaurants and bars and of course the quaint little shops. I hope to stay there again.

Great location & property

Perfect spot to walk & enjoy town, with plenty of enough space to allow 2 couples to spread out. House layout is perfect for family or friend gatherings- especially open living room/kitchen and the with fenced in backyard with chairs, table and fire-pit.

Perfect location

This clean and cute property is within walking distance (2 blocks) to the main downtown area of St. Michaels. We ran the half marathon during our stay, which ended on the street behind the house, and enjoyed the shops and restaurants during our stay. The owners were friendly and helpful, and all the check-out instructions were noted on the refriderator. Very easy and relaxing stay!

lovely home - owner could pay more attention to details

It was a lovely place to stay. The owners however, left absolutely no room in the refrigerator for food or storage room in at least one cabinet for dry food. The ice breaker was broken. I asked if they might send us some ice trays for us to use during our 5 day stay. Ice seems like a reasonable expectation for a rental house. We made 3 trips for ice to the local market. I did contact the owner about getting some ice trays but they never materialized.

Fantastic house in perfect location

This is a fantastic 3-br house, kept in immaculate condition and with great amenities, a handy kitchen, and an enjoyable backyard. The location is perfect, half a block from a coffee shop and 1 block from the main street with great restaurants and shopping. St. Michael's is a beautiful walking town. I highly recommend this property!

This property was exactly as seen in the pictures. VERY clean and neatly decorated. It was the perfect location to walk to everything. Shops, restaurants and marina. Delightful home!

Stayed in this delightful home for a short getaway with my elderly mother and 2 friends. The home is an estimate older home that has been thoroughly updated and decorated in a warm, inviting and comfortable style. Impossible to describe how nice it is and the pictures don’t capture the ambience. Vince was a great host. He was prompt with communicating the entry code and immediately responded to our one need (info on how to operate the TV - someone had removed the instructions). I would definitely stay here again.
