Die Location - Laman Lodge befindet sich auf einem Hügel oberhalb der Nelson Bay und bietet Blick auf den Yachthafen. Gehen Sie den Hügel hinunter, 300 Meter in die Stadt, um Boutiquen, Restaurants, Cafés und den Jachthafen zu besuchen, oder folgen Sie dem Pfad, 800 Meter bis zum familienfreundlichen Dutchies Beach, wo Sie in ruhigem Wasser schwimmen, grillen und picknicken können.

Die Einheit - Diese Einheit in der obersten Etage bietet einen Panoramablick vom Balkon und Wohnbereich. Der Balkon hat auch einen Weber Q Gasgrill und führt zu einem offenen, klimatisierten Wohnzimmer mit kostenlosem WLAN, einem Flatscreen-TV und einem DVD-Player sowie einem Essbereich mit Deckenventilator. Es gibt eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Kochfeld, Backofen, Mikrowelle und Geschirrspüler. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett und einen Deckenventilator, das zweite Schlafzimmer über ein Etagenbett und ein Badezimmer mit einer Whirlpool-Badewanne und einer separaten Dusche. Sie haben auch Zugang zu einer externen Wäscherei mit einer zugewiesenen Waschmaschine und einem Trockner für Einheit 5 und einem sicheren überdachten Parkplatz für ein Auto in einer abschließbaren Garage (Höhe 1,8 m) sowie einem Stellplatz für ein Geländewagen.

Great location

Nice apartment, with good views of area and marina. No instructions in apartment, so had to talk to managers about to find out there were override switches for fans. Windows rattled like crazy from the wind. Beds could do with an upgrade.

more coffee milk and sugar please

There’s not enough coffee, sugar and milk sachets. We had to make our own bed and the bunk bed, which added tiredness to my trip. There is only one air conditioner in the living room, bedrooms are too hot to sleep, we had to sleep on the couch.

Also, bed make is not included in this unit. However, for your convenience, we can arrange for it at an additional charge. Rest assured that your remarks will be shared with the management. Anniversary weekend away

Great property, clean and neat, wonderful view and position close to town centre. The garage door was a nightmare to open close. Sheets supplied but bed was advertised as made up but was not. Property management pedantic and over communication about rules and time to leave property. We even got a txt on checkout morning at 7.30am to remind about 10am checkout. Give us a break, We are on holidays and trying to have a sleep in!

Disappointed

Property is on the third floor, no lift. We were not informed that there are 50 steep stairs to climb to the apartment (with luggage, children, etc). Garage is not easy to find and difficult to park in, extra car spot is impossible to use unless you have only a motor bike. Communication with the company is the worst I've ever experienced. I was charged for my request to have the beds made up before we arrived but they were not. Sheets left in a bag for me to make up. Not a great way to start a holiday.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the property was very good, we could walk into town and beach. The property was fairly clean, the cutlery and crockery needed washing on arrival. Overall it was a good unit however some lights would just turn off when you were sat there and the dishwasher keep tripping the power so we couldn’t use it as it never got to finish the wash cycle. What was disappointing was that I emailed the rental company during our stay about the dishwasher and got no reply then the night before we left there was a questionnaire from the rental people I again mentioned the dishwasher and lights as if there is an electrical issue it needs to be dealt with for safety. Again no reply. When we checked out and returned keys to the office I once again said about the dishwasher not working etc and that it was a shame as I don’t want to spend my holiday washing up so it was disappointing for us and the lady in the office didn’t want to know, no apology or anything, she didn’t even stop what she was doing to have a conversation with me she wasn’t interested at all which is a shame as these companies are paid lots of money to maintain the property and guest relations. So the unit and location was good but shame things were not working and lack of communication or any engagement from staff in the office is the real let down in my opinion. Things go wrong, that’s life, it’s how they are dealt with that counts and makes the impression.

Great stay!

Had a great stay here at Laman Lodge. Nice clean apartment, with ample accessories needed. Could possible use 1 or 2 more items to help with cleaning the BBQ properly. Had a great stay and would stay again.

Great view,Great location

Great view ,Great location overlooking Marina with Water and Beach views.Handy to Restaurants and shopping. Woolworths in main street only a few minutes walk.Had 4 nights there in March.Also stayed here a few years ago.Good value. On the negative side windows and sliding door EXTREMELY NOISEY during windy periods.Would require repairs before I would stay there again. Parking- Height of Garage tilt-a-door opening NOT as advertised and location of second secure parking spot?

Thank you for the feedback. This property was purchased by new owners late in 2016 and a number of changes are being planned (and have already taken place). Unfortunately it was gale force winds during your stay, please be assured that new windows are included in these future plans. The parking has now been amended on our website. Waterfront beauty

We enjoyed staying at this property, looking over Nelson Bay, the view was stunning. The place was very clean and comfortable. The only draw back was that we had to carry linen and towels.

Laman Lodge is in a great position. Guests have the option of either bringing their own personal linen or hiring the linen, which allows tariffs to remain as low as possible.
