Einheit 7 - "Vista Del Mar"
Das "Vista Del Mar" ist eine Maisonette mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern. Es befindet sich an der nordwestlichen Ecke des Grundstücks. Das "Vista Del Mar" bietet unseren besten Blick auf den Nordpazifik mit Blick auf den öffentlichen Strand. Es verfügt über eine private Treppe für den Zugang oder den Zugang zum Erdgeschoss durch die Garage und eine gemeinsame Aussichtsplattform. Beide Stockwerke sind durch eine Innentreppe verbunden, können aber durch die Sichtschutztür getrennt werden.
DER OBERE STOCK: Verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer, eine Küche mit Halbinsel und Seitenbar, ein Wohnzimmer und ein Bad im Flur (Dusche über der Badewanne). Schlafzimmer 1 im Obergeschoss verfügt über 1 Queensize-Bett. Schlafzimmer 2 im Obergeschoss, hat 2 Einzelbetten und teilen sich das Bad im Flur. Es gibt ein geräumiges Wohnzimmer, eine große Küche und einen Essbereich. Die Küche verfügt über einen Elektroherd / Backofen, Kühl- / Gefrierschrank, Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Schneidebretter, Geschirr, Besteck und Kochgeschirr. Der Essbereich bietet Platz für sechs Personen. Genießen Sie die magischen Sonnenuntergänge vom Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer und Deck auf der oberen Ebene.
DER UNTERE STOCK: Beinhaltet eine Master Suite mit begehbarem Kleiderschrank und eigenem Bad (Dusche) sowie separatem Zugang durch die Garage. Der Meister im Erdgeschoss hat 2 Einzelbetten und 1 Königin.

Perfect getaway. Absolutely beautiful.

Our stay was amazing. The unit fit us perfectly. Stunning ocean view from front door. We already want to book for next year. Sadly with this website we have to wait until Jan. I’ll be making a call directly to property management. Nothing inaccurate of house description. Felt homey and spacious. Will definitely be booking again, two trips next year.

Ok but not great

House was not that clean. Greasey stove top, sand all over the top of a dresser,dust and cobwebs. The downstairs is dark creepy and smells musty. The location is good and beach is across the street. The upstairs wasnt bad. So if you didnt have to sleep downstairs, its not too bad.

Family get away

The duplex is 20 seconds from the beach and had a narrow deck facing the water which is what we were looking for. The place is very comfortable with new carpet and comfy chairs in the beach facing living room. Lots of bed to choose from which were relatively comfortable. The place looked clean and tidy when we arrived but upon closer inspection wasnt as clean as I thought. The carpet apparently wasn’t vacuumed before we arrived and there were dust and cobwebs in some corners. The decorations were minimal and the place a little worn at the edges. However This didn’t affect our visit.

Not what the pictures show.

Property was dirty. Stove & oven not clean. Guest bathroom leaked water all over the floor. Not comfortable beds. The mattress pad was paper thin. You cannot get to the beach! There is a very steep path that drops off at the end. 9 days and we never could get to the beach from this property. Kitchen drawers were full of junky stuff. The outside chairs were old, dirty and only 2 of them. Limited parking. Poor directions. We had to contact the property manager through Vrbo. I do not recommend and will never return. I had pictures but no place to post.

Dear Guest. It is unfortunate that you had a bad experience at our property. We don't often get complaints about our units being dirty or that the kitchen is not well equipped. One reason we have an on-site manager, is so that someone is available to fulfill requests for anything you may need while staying in one of our units. The Directions and manager's direct phone number were posted in your conversation as VRBO requires. Contact numbers are also posted on our office front door. Our staff would have gladly directed you to the beach access just around the corner where you can easily walk (within 2 minutes) or/ park and access the sand. This information is also posted inside the front door of each unit. There is plenty of additional parking here in front of the courtyard and additional chairs are also available in several locations around the property. We do take any complaints very seriously and apologize for any lack of communication of these things on our part prior to your stay. We hope you will consider giving your next host the opportunity to resolve any unknown issues before leaving a negative review.

Would not recommend this property

My mother actually found this propery since we were looking for a place with beach access and at the last minute my parents could not go which is a good thing. Technically they do have beach access but it is not safe for everyone my parents could never have used it, small children, elderly or anyone with balance issues should not use it as it is a rock embankment with a rope tied to rocks you can pick up to help you down. The beach access should be revised to state that the access is not safe for everyone. I watched several people struggle to get down. Also I am not sure who cleaned the house but there was a chip under the coffee table and a dirty towel in the downstairs bathroom, the oven also needed cleaning. In my opinion the bathrooms need to be redone there is cracked paint around the showers, rust around the showers, shower curtain rod, sink and what appears to be mold around the upstairs shower. In the reviews someone mentioned the house was outdated and that would have been fine with us as we don't need anything fancy but I would say it is run down and needs works. I do not recommend this propery to anyone.

Hi Bernice, Thank you for your stay with us. It's unfortunate that the nearest beach access was difficult for you and your guests. We do have a flyer posted inside the unit door directing you to the "easier" beach access just a 2 min walk around the corner where you can walk straight onto the beach. We are aware of the repair and maintenance issues that are needed and thank you for your feedback. We are working on those things for the entire property which is a constant at the beach. We do take this into consideration as to price which is well below our competitors. on the coast.

The top floor was great. However, I stayed downstairs with just 3 beds and walk in shower. It was cold down there even with the heat cranked up. And only one tv for 5 people. Could have used a tv downstairs. No washer and dryer either. Would I stay there again? Possibly but only the top floor.

Fantastic value just 1 street away from the beach

Lovely apartment that's much more economical than many of the "on beach" properties. 3 bed and 2 bath worked great for 8 of us (5 adults, 3 kids). The finishings are a bit dated and there is a bit of maintenance that should be done, but otherwise it worked out well. The showerhead is also pretty low. I'm 6'4" and the showerhead was at chest level, and it made showering a bit awkward. The view is great and we are able to see the beach. There is a beach entrance about 50' from the apartment. Overall, highly recommended.

Lovely vacation

This property was exactly what was advertised. It's a little run down, but was completely functional. The location was great for day visits to nearby attractions. The beach was just a short walk away. You can also sit on the deck and watch the waves come in. The sheets were clean and smelled fresh. Lisa was extremely helpful. It felt like staying at a good friend's house because she went out of her way to take care of us.

Nice home with ocean view

I stayed here with my family of 4 and my brother's family of 4. Before we arrived I was worried that it would be a bit small for 8 people, but it was perfect, since there was 2 separate bedroom areas. Upstairs, one bedroom with a double bed for my husband and I, and a second bedroom with two twin beds for my daughters. Downstairs there was another large bedroom with a double for the adults and two twin beds for the kids, and a bathroom. There was a view of the ocean from the living and dining room and a short walk to the beach. Beach access was a little tricky with a rocky path that was steep in a couple spots, but there was a rope to hold and we all made it just fine. The only reason I did not give the unit 5 stars was because the cookware was a bit inadequate. It could use another large pot and frying pan and some storage for leftovers. We made the best of it, however, and enjoyed our stay.

Casual and comfortable, quiet neighborhood

Casual, comfortable, with easy beach access and partial beach/water view. Note, we were in the corner unit #7. I don't think all units would have a beach/water view. Access was right across the street with a 30 ft walk down a rocky slope. At first my 73 yo mom thought she wouldn't be able to walk the slope but she did it fine many times over the week. The condo unit is not fancy or new, but has most everything you should need, with a good sized kitchen. Beds were ok comfortable, bathrooms standard (perfectly functional). Onsite management for the small collection of condos was great; easy access and responsive. Gleneden is a great community, mix of residents and rentals. Lots of friendly people out walking dogs and watching the sunset. Local restaurants were great and some had outside dining options (BYO food to Beachcrest brewery!).

Good beach access

We came just as Coronavirus was emerging. We enjoyed the beach which was net crowded and were able to stroll up and down every day. The property is simple but adequate. Furniture is a bit worn. Kitchen cabinets are worn as well. Blinds on windows need replacing. Very comfortable stay though and the layout was good with a basement bedroom suite for us grandparents. Wr grilled out, had a campfire on the beach and went clamming. All part of a great Oregon beach experience!
