Drove up from CA with my husband, 2 kids (10, 8), and small dog to meet my sister from Portland for Christmas. The house was perfect for the occasion - cozy, clean, large windows to watch all the snowfall. We brought a small tree, stockings, lights for the patio, etc. and had a Christmas we’ll never forget. The highlight for everyone was hot tubbing under the falling snow. The hot tub was full, clean, and serviced the day we arrived. House was also well-stocked to prepare Xmas dinner. We brought a lot of kitchen supplies, but most of what we needed was already there, which was nice. Kids were well-entertained, when not in the snow, with all the streaming services available on the TV - unfortunately, only one TV out of the 3 worked. We got the master bedroom to work with a generic universal remote, but only with casting. They also enjoyed the ping pong table and foosball table in the garage.Roads were cleared by 9AM after snowy nights, making for easy to get in and out of the neighborhood. This was a plus since we were asked to leave close to 10, rather than the 11:00 check out in the listing (the welcome sheet in the cabin says 10AM as well). On the positive side, host let us come early since there were no guests before us.The one drawback we experienced was the tremendous heat difference between the upper and lower floors. While the upstairs was a cozy 70, the two rooms downstairs were easily 20 degrees cooler. That aside, 100% recommended!!.
