Explore the Banana River from our lush garden with our 2 kayaks or our stand-up-paddle or go fishing. *** It is only a 2 minute walk across the street to the Atlantic Ocean with its extensive beaches which invite you to go walking or go surfing. You will usually share the beach with only few people. For more entertainment bars and restaurants are close by - many with direct beach or riverfront seating. *** You are in a perfect location for many entertaining activities. Orlando is only a 45 minute drive away with the world famous theme parks and shopping malls. On the horizon you can see the world famous Kennedy- Space-Center which is very interesting to explore. *** Since Cape Canaveral with its huge cruise ship harbor is only a 20 minute drive away be our guest before or after your cruise. *** The apartment has all the essential amenities like AC (central) and free WiFi. Cocoa Beach with its gorgeous beaches and the pleasant water tempertures offers ideal conditions for all types of water sports or just for relaxing. Cooa Beach offers an extensive variety of restaurants and entertainment. Among others one must mention the numerous golf courses, the Pier and the many shops such as the biggest Ron-Jon-surfshop in the US. The apartment is 45 minutes away from Orlando International Airport and 3 hours from Miami International Airport Complimentary are: - linen - You find sheets/duvet/pillow for the sofa bed in the sofa bed – please lift the long section. - towels - cuttlery *** Sport •Golf: the nearest golf course with 3 x 9 holes is Cocoa Beach Country Club with pleasant greens and cheap rates (5000 Tom Warriner Boulevard, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931). Other golf courses are nearby. •Minigolf : numerous minigolf courses are nearby (e.g. Gator Golf: 6355 North Atlantic Avenue, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920) •Surfing: Cocoa Beach is the best beach for surfing in Florida. The world champion of 11 times Kelly Slater is from Cocoa Beach. Follow his example and book a surf course. There are lots of offers online. •Explore the Banana River with kayak or stand-up-paddle. Usually you will see dolphins and sometimes even manatees. To the north there are mangroves. •Jogging: jogg along the Atlantic: just cross the main road to get there.
