Villa Serena at Montecito Beach Village was outstanding. Gorgeous property, well equipped, comfortable beds, amazing views, attentive and helpful staff. This vacation exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. We treated ourselves to the private chef option and were blown away by the quality and variety of the meals Manuel and Lupita prepared for us. Truly excellent.

Glorious family vacation in Montecito Beach Village

This was our first trip to this part of Mexico and the area surpassed our expectations with its beauty and peacefulness. Within this spectacular area, Montecito Beach Village is an extraordinary collection of architecturally superb homes set into the hillside with cobblestone roads, golf cart only access, excellent fitness room and amazing landscaping. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly and the Cala Club was a perfect place to relax and enjoy great food and drinks. Access to Bocana Beach for surfing and swimming is very easy and MBV is only a short drive from shopping and restaurants.Our only disappointment with this villa was the poor condition of several of the major appliances - dishwasher, washing machine, television. If these are replaced with appliances reflecting the quality of the rest of the villa, we would definitely return.

We were pleased to find the property clean and well-maintained. The staff were attentive, ensuring we had all the necessary information about dining and attractions in the area. Notable were the food and drinks at Cala Club, which were excellent.I would highly recommend Montecito Beach Village and Villa Serena to friends and family. It is a standout choice for any vacation.

Reviewer Comments: We rented this property for ten people for my husband's 50th birthday, and our stay in Villa Serena honestly could not have been any better. Throwing open the villa doors and seeing the infinity pool and amazing hilltop views just blew us away every time. The property is so tastefully and thoughtfully appointed and impeccably clean, with plenty of room for our party of ten. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, lounging in our personal pool, and watching the sunrise over the ocean from our comfy beds. From the moment we arrived through our departure, the staff was attentive and accommodating. We spent hours lounging in the Cala Club pool....the ceviche there is amazing and we came back for it day after day...thank you to Marisol for the margaritas! The fitness room is well appointed, and the rooftop pool at sunrise is absolutely stunning. Montecito Beach Village is quiet, peaceful and removed from it all, and yet is only a short taxi ride into the restaurants and shopping of the nearby towns as well as world-class waves for the surfers in our group. I truly cannot think of a way to improve upon this vacation. The value for what we paid is perhaps the most astonishing thing of all. We will most definitely be back.

What a chill and beautiful home! We enjoyed everything about it. The kids had 3 pools to swim in and everywhere you looked there was a view. I think it's the first vacation I have come back from where I feel like I really came back rested. The staff went above and beyond to help make our stay awesome. Paola was seriously amazing! The property and its setting are stunning, the service from the concierge is top notch and the food in the restaurant down by the beach is delicious. We opted to have a chef come in and cook most of our meals in the villa, and every meal was delicious. We will be back!

Reviewer Comments: Everything about Montecito Beach Village was great: beautiful rental, staff all outstanding, helpful, etc. However, we were not made aware of the intense amount of construction that we were going to be subjected to. Each morning at approximately 630 am (430 am California time) the hammering, sawing, etc began. Impossible to sleep through. I think it should have been disclosed prior to our agreeing to stay there.
