As you see this property on line as breath taking as it is, it is even more in person. The property was stunning and beautiful. Very clean and well maintained. There was construction going on but it didn’t bother us at all. It’s very quiet and peaceful. Customer service was great, everyone was very kind and always there to help.The chef services were excellent, they really work well to fit what you want. The Cala and Loma lounge were good. We had valentines dinner on the beach (Cala) and I thought it was a little over priced for what we got. But other than that meal the food was good.The few things that were lacking was the air conditioner in the master bedroom was not working so it was quite hot at times, the toaster was broken and the place definitely needs a BBQ.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year renting a house through "Explore Huatulco." We used to stay at all inclusives but as our family grew bigger we discovered that renting a house gave everyone their own space and the cost was comparable. Villa Alheli is our favorite place to date. There are multiple decks and lounging areas so that we could have our own space whenever we wanted. The view from the top deck is amazing with an infinity pool at your feet and an ocean view for as far as you can see.Even though we had our own pool at the house, we spent a lot of time at the beach pool. Despite, all of the houses being occupied, we had the beach cabanas and the beach pool all to ourselves! We never saw any other guests!There is a second pool at the top of the village that has a beautiful light display at night. My son called it the magical pool. We spent one evening at the magical pool and never say any other guests there either! it was truly amazing.The only issue we encountered was that the bedroom doors open to the outdoors and our young son is scared to sleep with his door shut. We ended up having to take turns sleeping with him as we could not leave his bedroom door open or critters would have entered. We are hoping next year he is ok sleeping with his door shut. The views from the floor to ceiling bedroom windows are spectacular and they are screened so that you can fall asleep listing to the waves.

I would suggest that the villas come equipped with some additional amenities for guests, including speakers (i.e. Sonos) and pool or beach toys. We did have some issues with a tremendous amount of ants throughout our villa. The hilltop pool bar also was out of many items on the menu (including guacamole) but all the food that we did have was delicious (especially the tacos down at the beach!). The beach was easily accessible by walking down a creative path with stairs and suspension bridges or by taking the trolley. We personally liked the stairs. The only downside to the stay was the ocean was to rough to play in at the resort and distance from La Crucecita.

Breathtaking views, clean, private, spacious, with an island feel to the villa. Great location as it is secluded but has enough amenities to keep you happy including a good gym. The infinity pools are great...especially the rooftop pool at the restaurant. If you want to explore or be more active, things are 10-30 minutes away. Renting a car is helpful and recommended. Staff are perfect. Even if something went wrong, they made it right...that is all you can ask for. They are courteous and professional and clearly care about your stay. Highly recommend this place for a beautiful and relaxing get away. The property management staff know their stuff. They are helpful and responsive. I will definitely be back.

We loved having our own private villa, but to also have a beautiful beach club and The Loma Lounge and lagoon available to enjoy, was really a bonus. The food was amazing and the service stellar. The quality of construction and attention to detail were really something special. We'll definitely be back again!

There were 6 of us and we had the whole beach to ourselves for 2 weeks.The water is a little rough for swimming. Yu can take a trail to the beach besides Secrets resort. Only a 10 minute walk and the beach is very nice and water is calm.
