Sea Gypsy No. 203, den wir "Orion Seaquest" genannt haben, ist eine herausragende Wohnung mit einem Schwerpunkt auf Kochen und Komfort. Es verfügt über einen einzigartigen Küchengrundriss mit mehr Platz und kulinarischen Annehmlichkeiten f��r den Koch Ihrer Party. Es gibt sogar eine Spülmaschine, die selten zu finden ist.

Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein weiches, komfortables Kingsize-Bett und ein verbessertes Badezimmer mit gefliester, begehbarer Dusche und einem Deckenventilator, um die kühle Meeresbrise durch Ihre Wohnung zu bringen. Ein Futon in der Oceanside-Suite bietet Platz für ein oder zwei Erwachsene für insgesamt vier Urlauber.

Sie können unsere große DVD-Bibliothek genießen. Besser noch, verbringen Sie Zeit an den großen Fenstern am Meer und halten Sie Ausschau nach grauen Walen und Seelöwen, die in die flachen Wellen eintauchen und aus ihnen heraus tauchen. Beautiful view and beach to walk

Enjoyed our stay at the Sea Gypsy and the Lincoln City area. This is an older property but our condo was nicely updated and our beach time was wonderful (but prepare for cool breezes!) Did a great local hike and enjoyed the local restaurants and art galleries.

Great view - great location

Staff was helpful and friendly. All in all ... Would recommend this unit to others. Was nice having two bathrooms. The only negative was the carpet in the living space is badly stained and the shower in the back was pretty dirty on arrival.

Good for the price!

Overall this place was really great. The view was amazing and the condo overall was really cute. The mattress in the bedroom is pretty uncomfortable and we couldn't get the futon to open up. But overall it was good for the price we paid!

Perfect location for sunsets

Sea Gypsy had the perfect location to enjoy the sunset off the Oregon coast. We enjoyed snacks and drinks in the comfort of our unit while practically on the beach. Contact less check-in was super easy. The unit (bedding and shower) could've been cleaner and the bed was not that comfortable, so keep in mind if you have back issues.

Beach heaven

Love, love, loved this place, from the comfy furniture and the ocean themed decor to the ocean right outside the windows. I spent a week on a solo writing retreat and everything was perfect. Long walks on those miles and miles of sandy beach watching the surf, and long hours thinking and writing by the open window watching -- and listening -- to the waves. Everything I needed in the kitchen for preparing meals, including a dishwasher for clean up. Bed was comfortable. Fantastic wireless was a bonus!

need more

Love staying at the sea gypsy, but this time it was a little different. The room we stay in only had 4 pieces of silverware. We had to go buy more so we didn't have to wash dishes for every meal.Not enough pillows and blankets for the person that had to sleep on the couch We did arrive early and waited until 3:45 and still had to wait until 4pm. I was very disappointed about that, as I had to use the rest room, and we have been driving all day.

Run Down and Disappointing

Love the view. Multiple members of the family have been going to Sea Gypsy for years. Sad to say in the last few years, while the prices are going up significantly, the quality is going down significantly. There was a huge stain on the carpet, ceiling fans and a switch did not work, carpet has wrinkles and needs to be retacked down, chair is broken, couch in disrepair and dust was piled in various places. When I checked with a family member who'd stayed 6 months prior, all of those issues had been there too so they had the opportunity to make it better and didn't. My family members and I are planning to explore other options and share our observations to find a new place.

The Sea Gypsy has always been one of my favorite places to stay in Lincoln city, The location, beach access, pool, sauna and a unique condo every time. This condo however, needs new carpet badly, it was so old and warn and stained and the metal headboard was not even attached to the bed so anytime you get on or off or move the bed at all, it hits the wall loudly. We ended up putting towels in between the wall and headboard to get through our stay but it needs addressed. There was also a stacked washer and dryer in the bedroom closet that was not hooked up, just being stored so nowhere to hang clothes in the room. Otherwise we had a very nice stay and it was cleaned very well! We'll be neck but will definitely rent another condo next time.

My wife and I definitely enjoyed our three days in #203. The only issue we had was the "brown" stains over the majority of the carpeted area. Our suggestion might be to either replace the carpet or continue the vinyl planks that are throughout the balance of the unit. The front desk advised us that the carpet had been recently cleaned by a professional carpet cleaner. Our experience did not indicate that to be the case. We will be back. Ken and Carol Crouse

We liked the layout with the open kitchen and the large dining table. Lots of bedding. We did not like how filthy the room was. It was surface clean thanks to the between guests cleanings. But the carpets and couch had stains. The shower floor was either moldy or very stained. The fan in the main area was so close to breaking that when you turned it on or off it would noisily flop across the screws for a while before gaining momentum lifting up off of them. Couldn't turn off the light and just use the fan. Many cracked dishes. And every dish I took out to use was dirty (previous guests not washing them well, but still frustrating and gross). I have stayed in about 6 different sea gypsy rooms and this was the worst I've seen. The general disrepair showed the owner doesn't take the time to come deep clean or tend to issues. I will opt not to stay at this room again and regret paying full price for a sub par stay.

3 Stars needs to be cleaned better but was a great room

Walking in looks super nice and clean but I came with a baby who loves to explore everything with that in mind we found a pizza in the couch in the chair by the window and cheese it's behind the cords to the plug ins on the floor and cheese it's about in every little nook and cranny and the bathrooms the toilets weren't clean hair all over it and on toilet. The door doesn't shut all the way unless you lock it people could just push on it to open it if it wasn't locked. And the shower in master bathroom definitely needs a good cleaning. Other than that it was a great room and we enjoyed the stay but it kind of sucked that I had to clean the condo before be able to even enjoy it. I think who ever is coming in and cleaning needs to have people giving inspections

Great view

This was our first time to Lincoln City and we happened to get really great weather on the weekend. It was really beautiful to enjoy the view and the beach right outside the door. Pros: great view, very soft and comfortable bed, staff is helpful and easy to get ahold of. Easy check in and check out. Lots of space for 2 people. There is a washer and dryer on site as well as an ice machine. Cons: dishwasher didn't work well - the detergent pod wouldn't dissolve. The first time we ran it, I put all the dishes away and then saw the detergent pod was still intact. I reloaded the dishwasher and ran it and it worked. The second time I ran the dishwasher, the pod didn't dissolve again. On the 3rd attempt, I broke open the pod and crumbled the detergent in the slot to get it to work. The carpet here in the living room is in bad shape and dirty. Housekeeping uses scented trash bags that make the whole apartment smell bad. The noise from the unit above is crazy loud when anyone is walking. It would wake us up when they woke up and started moving around. The wifi was glitchy. While trying to watch the world series we had problems with connection. We did a glass blowing class here which was really fun. We also really enjoyed a fish and chips place I think called The Pub over by Safeway. The price here is very reasonable for such a beautiful view. But the dirty carpet and loud noise from the unit above would make us look elsewhere in the future.

This unit is dated and lacking style. The furniture was not very comfortable and the coffee table appeared to be broken. The heat in the living room never turned hot and only blew cold air. The kitchen is very minimally stocked. The headboard was not attached to the bed and the mattress was sub par. The furniture in the bedroom made it difficult to get around the bed. I've stayed in several units at the sea gypsy and I will definitely not be renting this unit again.

A Bit Disappointed

Overall great location with excellent view. A couple issues: 1) several of the electrical wall plugs are loose in the front area and 2) when I moved the couch to use the plug in, I found old food under the couch- several gold fish crackers- so I moved the couch further out and found many popcorn pieces and several cooked macaroni noodles too. I picked up all the big pieces (did not want to tempt bugs). I know housekeeping has extra cleaning responsibilities with COVID but I also found two large sticky spots by the sink (one the size of my foot and one the size of my palm) that I also cleaned up and the entertainment center and book cases were dusty. This made me concerned that the room had not been sanitized like it should be and frustrated that I had to clean when I paid the cleaning fee.

Orion 203

Bathroom had long dark hair on the bathroom floor. Blinds in the front living room have broken slates so it made it hard to sleep being so bright. Drapes would really help. Worse part was the king bed was WAY to soft and uncomfortable couldn't sleep. Couch had no support either and killed my back just watching a movie. The mattress on the sleeper sofa was so thin I ended up sleeping on top of the cushions and managed to get a few hours of sleep. Only thing that wa nice is the ocean view and that their were 2 bathrooms.

Love the Sea Gypsy

Pros: extremely affordable. And overall very clean. Beautiful room with spectacular views and easy beach access. The king bed in the Orion was very comfortable and we loved the ceiling fan in the bedroom (there is also one in the living room). Both bathrooms are nicely appointed. The kitchen is open and flows into the living room looking straight to the ocean and beach. Cons: the kitchen is sparsely supplied compared to other suites we've stayed in there. The Living room sofa and the chair/ottoman are both very uncomfortable. The chair also is a faux leather and feels and looks dirty. Like they need to get a scrub brush or toothbrush and scrub cleanser into the patterned crevices. And the living room carpet is stained. Also, there is a floor lamp in the living room that is broke where the pole inserts into the base. They had it propped up in a corner wall by the window so initially it looks fine. One morning as we came into the living room the pole was leaning cockeyed. The base was still flat on the ground but the pool was leaning over. We tried to see if it could be tightened at the base by rotating the pole but it would just turn and not tighten. They had to be aware of the problem considering it's placement in the room before we arrived. Conclusion: this was a nice suite but not our favorite. But for the price it was great. We will probably not stay at the Orion again but will continue making the Sea Gypsy our favorite place to stay in Lincoln City.

Lovely apartment--looks just like the photo. larger than expected. Could us more glasses, and a bread knife, but dishwasher was a nice luxury.

The place is lovely and the view of the ocean is incredible. It was disappointing to not have curtains in the bedroom that let light in without being seen by those outside. And, it would've been a plus to have a pan and spatula. These minor issues aside, the place was exactly as advertised, and provided a great retreat.
