I planned a girls weekend in Rehoboth, and we stayed at Charles’ cottage. It could not have been more lovely. The home was super quaint and truly the perfect location. Walkable to the beach and also to downtown shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this cottage!!

Just perfect

This cozy cottage was just perfect for us. We especially enjoyed the front porch and the sitting area in the backyard. It was very hot during our stay but the air conditioning made the house comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The location was close to both the beaches and Rehoboth Ave. Charles was tremendously responsive. Our stay could not have been better.

The cottage is ready and waiting at check-in time, nicely freshened up by the cleaning crew. Getting the keys from the owner and gaining access couldn't be easier. The cottage is comfortably furnished throughout. The kitchen includes a surprising amount of cooking utensils. You don't need to bring anything for cooking at home. There is ample closet and dresser drawer space. AC units throughout allow you to cool rooms as needed. The cottage is ideally located two blocks from the beach and and boardwalk.

Great location, just a few blocks from the beach and boardwalk. Comfy little cottage. We spent lots of time in the sunroom, having coffee, watching storms roll in at night, relaxing. We also loved the outdoor shower and the extra half bath was great with 4 adults. The owner provides 2 Rehoboth parking permits that were of great use - we were able to drive our stuff to the beach and park right there, just steps from the beach (permit parking only) and we used them to park downtown as well. Very convenient. The location and accommodations of this cottage were great. Kitchen was stocked with essentials for cooking/eating. Charles, the owner, was good with communication as well. Overall, a great stay in Rehoboth.

Wonderful Beach Cottage!

This is a great place! We loved it and plan to stay again next summer. Really close to the beach. The cottage is clean and bright, perfectly furnished, and equipped with everything you need. The owner is nice, great with communication and really helpful.

Relaxing and Fun

Loved the neighborhood! A short walk to the beach and restaurants. The house wonderful. I loved a bit of classic Rehoboth. The yard was great and bunnies came by to say hello every day. Great location for walks. This was the best way to visit the beach. Highly recommend this property!

Great little house in a great location!

The house is small (as describedin the listing), but somehow it all works really well. Charles, the owner, was great with communication and very helpful. The amenities were surprisingly complete. Each time one of us asked, "I wonder if there's a....", we found what we were looking for! It was a great trip and I would definitively stay there again! I recommend sitting on the cozy enclosed porch, sipping coffee, and watching the joggers, cyclists, and dogs go by!

Perfect Beach Getaway

I stayed with my partner and my younger sister. We couldn't have asked for a better home to stay in. It was the perfect size. Comfortably slept the three of us and could accommodate up to 3 more. This house is only two blocks from the beach. Its also the perfect distance from main street, its a nice short walk to get there but far enough away from the hustle bustle giving this house a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. In addition, your only a couple blocks from Silver Lake, lending to gorgeous views and a lovely place to ride your bike. I couldnt have asked for a better stay!

Wonderful small beach house

The cottage exceeded expectations with its two bedrooms, one full bathroom and one half bath, plus outdoor shower stall, living room, dining room, well-appointed kitchen, enclosed front porch, and back yard with gas grill, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and bicycles provided in storage building.This is a lovely property with nice shrubbery to provide privacy out back. It's two blocks from the beach and boardwalk near the south end of Rehoboth but within easy walking distance of many restaurants. Almost too many charms to list. The host is gracious and attentive. Highly recommended. I will return.

Great Location - Never Updated and Dirty

My family and I were excited to spend some time away at this tiny cottage. When we arrived, almost everything was broken or falling apart (things were taped together, door locks barely worked, etc). It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in several weeks. I had to vacuum immediately upon arrival and wipe down the floors and tabletops. The lights flickered, the vacuum was held together by tape, the kitchen was full of very old and expired groceries, etc. It was uncomfortable to say it lightly.

I am sorry to say the honesty of this renter is questionable. Vicki lied about the size of their party on the booking request where she stated only 2 adult guests and did not include their 3 children. This was reported to VRBO and they concluded the guest lied. This is a deceptive practice used by some when booking online. The husband telephoned me about a neighboring issue and mentioned the 3 children, and he also said all was good at the cottage. Surprisingly, he mentioned they would be interested in buying the property. To which I replied, “it is not for sale at this time.” There have been no previous complaints about the door locks. The comment about “almost everything was broken or falling apart” is completely untrue. The only tape used was an industrial tape at the top of the vacuum hose. Weekly housekeeping alerts me to any damage which is then repaired as soon as possible. I arrived after Vicki’s family checked out and found a small table likely broken by them, and batteries taken from a TV remote. The comment “It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in several weeks” again is completely untrue. It has been confirmed that housekeeping cleaned the cottage the morning before Vicki’s arrival, and housekeeping was shocked to hear the comments about dirtiness and broken furniture. The cottage is cleaned weekly during the rental season and we have received many compliments about cleanliness. Food items left in the kitchen include spices and condiments. We do not provide groceries to renters and this comment is nonsensical. I do not believe Vicki understands that libel is a serious matter. I can only conclude these false assertions are related to my unwillingness to sell the property.
