Beautiful Condo

I stay in condos on the beach yearly. This one is one of the top on my list. Its cute, perfect size, huge balcony over looking the beach. Perfect location. We had a beautiful stay. Only thing I'd sigguest is to bring some type of bug repellent for the noseams if you like to walk on beach at night or sit on balcony. 10/10 loved!

I'm not sure why I am disallowed from stating what unit this is vs the property as a whole, but needless to say some clicking through pictures will reveal which unit. I'm under the impression each unit is owner specific. First the pluses: Great Gulf view, nice balcony & seating, easy access to the beach, walkable to Publix and several eateries. Check-in staff were nice, maintenance man was timely and friendly. The disappointments: In addition to needing aesthetic updates, the unit was below average overall in cleanliness. Not only was there dust and dirt behind the nightstand (where the router is located) there was a random telephone lying there, and paper from a previous guest. The bed linens were threadbare in spots. Comforter didn't seem fresh. Television never worked (not that we needed it, but....) The toaster must've cost $7.99 at Walgreens and was inoperable -- iow it only burnt the toast even on the lowest setting. Be aware that this unit is on the second floor with the balcony right above the pool. You will hear every conversation when the sliding glass door s open or if you're sitting on the balcony. It was quite chilly for our stay so very few people at the pool and they were using the hot tub. We imagine in high season, it might get quite boisterous at the pool. It'd be a hard pass to recommend to others given the expense that was charged. We understand each unit is individually owned so have no knowledge of the condition of other units.

I’d give them a “C” overall

Had a nice stay! Beautiful beach, of course. This unit is very outdated - old, chipped furniture, couch & chair cushions worn out & uncomfortable; looked like they raided Goodwill to decorate lol. Desperately needs updating. Condo itself a bit loud - could hear guests walking overhead and voices from outside at the pool and the volleyball court & tiki bar right nextdoor. Unit was clean but needed a few minor repairs - towel bar kept falling off, one of the blinds was broken, shower pressure hardly more than a trickle. All minor issues - location for the win!

We loved the condo’s location and loved the balcony, sightseeing and of course the beach! My only suggestion would be it would be nice to have some dishwasher and laundry tabs! Would definitely stay here again!

Right on the beach - perfect location

This condo was really great for the price. The location was excellent - literally steps away from the beach. The balcony was perfect and had a fantastic view. We watched the sunset over the beach every evening. The complex was quiet and relaxed. The condo had all of the amenities we needed except dish detergent, but there was a Publix and a CVS right across the street within walking distance. The condo was pretty clean with just a little dust buildup in some areas where it may not have been deep cleaned in a while. But definitely nothing major and no red flags - all of the high-touch areas were sanitized. We chose contact-free check-in and it was a perfectly smooth process. It was really nice having an assigned parking spot right next to our unit, but be aware that some of the parking spots are extremely tight. A large vehicle wouldn’t have fit in our spot. Overall, this unit was great for the cost, and you really can’t beat the view. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

Had a fantastic time for a short weekend getaway. The condo was exactly as described and the location was perfect. Great view from the patio…A few steps to the beach…Short walk to restaurants…I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay. Great condo. We got married on St Pete Beach and stayed at the condo the following 5 days. Great location close to everything. The condo was equipped with everything we needed and had a great view of the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Have stayed at Gulf Strand before, different unit. Great location, great view from our balcony. Beautiful sunsets! This unit needs a little love (chipped lamps, broken, patched picture frame) and a deep clean (spatter on BR wall, dirt behind a LR chair) but would definitely stay at this property again.

Wonderful Ocean Views

Loved this condo. Furnished nicely although sofa was smaller size, seemed closer to a loveseat. Best part was the view - direct ocean front so even when it rained we didn’t feel like we were missing out on beach time. Would stay here again.
