Best location

The Property is steps from the beach , minutes away from farmers markets and Kennebunkport. Great place for a family vacation. Beach is spectacular and house has plenty of room for the family to relax. Eat together or hang out on the porch or the beach. Really good responsive hosts.

Perfect location

Ideal location if you want to spend your time at the beach! Great property and amenities (bikes, beach toys, chairs, kayaks etc are included which is so wonderful!) highly recommended for your next vacation. Could be a little hard with only 2 bathrooms depending on the size of your party, but we never had an issue :)

Great stay at Goose Rocks Beach

We had a great stay at Goose Rocks Beach. The location of the house is incredible, right across the road from the beach which was perfect with little kids. There is an outdoor shower, grill, and plenty of beach toys that the hosts allow you to use. Cathy and Derek were very communicative with us during our stay and answered all questions promptly. We had a great time.

Labor Day Weekend at GRB

Thanks for a great weekend at Goose Rocks. The Beach Plum was perfect for our two families (4 adults and 5 kids). We all had plenty of space for sleeping and hanging out. The location can't be beat. It was extremely helpful that the garage was stocked with any beach item you could ever need so we did not have to bring anything with us from home. The owners were extremely communicative and helpful throughout the renting process. I recommend Beach Plum to anyone.

Fantastic views and you couldn't get closer to the amazing beach!

We are long time vacationers at Goose Rocks Beach and have wonderful memories (and high expectations) for our vacations here. The Beach Plum has all of the old school, cottage charm (without the cramped spaces!)...knotty pine throughout (reminding us of my grandparents' home down the street!!), great porches to enjoy the early mornings and evenings with the beverage of your choice and large master bedrooms with views of the water and sounds of crashing waves. The outdoor shower was wonderful, perfect for washing off after the beach. The house is well stocked with almost every conceivable beach toy, chair or kayak, so that you don't have to lug your own. Overall, a great place to stay and Derek and Cathy have done a wonderful job of helping all guests enjoy their stay. Thank you!!

September Getaway

Derek and Cathy have a beautiful, clean, well stocked home in Kennebunkport. It is spacious and comfortable. Derek was concerned and helpful when the there was a problem with the internet. (It was resolved). Our only complaint is that sheets and towels were not provided. Most VRBO rentals provide linens, and the laundering of them is covered by the sizable cleaning fee. This house is a great escape location any time of year!

Beach Plum is truly an oasis for our family!

I can see why Beach Plum is such a special place. It reminds me of my grandmothers house on the beach in southern New Jersey. Spent every summer of my life visiting her and Beach Plum brought back those same warm feelings. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we needed. Wolff's lobster did not disappoint - a seafood feast cooked for you down the street and enjoyed in the dining room! The rooms were perfect for our group. It was nice to have the den to put the pack and play for our little one. So nice not to have him in our room :) Everything was clean and so darn cute! Plenty of space for a big family to spend time together - but also have your own space if you need it. The beach stuff is awesome. From the cart and chairs to the beach toys - you have everything! The outdoor shower is the best! A few of us didn't shower inside once! Worked hard to leave everything as nice as we found it :) We loved the house so much. The beach is idyllic. Goose Rocks already feels like a home away from home. You can't beat the views or the proximity to the beach. Just lovely. We will be back!!

Quintessential Gooserocks Beach right across from the ocean!

Perfect house for a quick get-a-way for Easter! It would be awesome in warmer weather as well but we loved every minute of looking out over the sea from the windows and porch. Walked the beach many times and can never get enough. The home was welcoming, well-equipped and nicely decorated. The owners were very pleasant and eager to assist with questions. Would definitely stay again!!!

Incredible stay at GRB

We just left our week at GRB and can't wait to go back! Two families enjoyed the house and there was plenty of room and privacy for everyone of all ages. We were impressed with the location and all the fun in the garage for the beach. Anything you would ever need is at the house and we had a great time. Looking forward to next time.

Location and house were perfect!!!

You can’t beat the location, the renters were beyond gracious, friendly and so accommodating! They also had so much beach gear there so we dIdnt have to schlep as much. The house was decorated very cute too and had everything you could possibly need. We hope to come back next year!

Best for families

We cannot rave enough about Beach Plum. Easy to get to Gooserocks beach and a friendly old village feeling once you settle in.There are lots of beach bikes, toys, chairs so no need to pack it all!

Perfect house with all you need and more. One of the best locations for a cottage in the area. Very quiet and comfortable. Owners were nice and very accommodating on a short notice too! Will be back soon!

Can’t get any better

Plenty of beds to sleep in. The kitchen is fully functional. There’s a washer and dryer to use, an outside shower, and a clothesline. The garage full of beach toys and chairs made it so we didn’t have to haul any with us. That was a great help. Overall, this is a great place to stay if you want to fully enjoy Goose Rocks Beach. You can’t get any closer!!!! The owner was easily accessible by text/phone for any questions we had. Just a great stay!!!!

We keep going back

Can't get enough of this lovely home. It's cozy, comfortable but spacious. Love the sunsets and walking on the beach and a quick trip to the Potland Headlight. We hope to come back for years to come. Thank you for having us!

Our new 'Favorite Place!'

What a perfect beach vacation! My family's first time to GRB and it did not disappoint! Derek and Cathy's home is so warm and cozy! Like other reviews, it reminds me of my childhood visiting my grandparents. Plenty of room for all! Their home is perfectly situated to the beach entrance where we spent days just sitting out on the beach. Everything needed for a day at the beach (except cold drinks!) was provided. We really loved ordering steamed lobsters from Wolf's and bringing them back to the house for a delicious dinner! Looking forward to visiting again next year! Thanks, Derek and Cathy!!

Breathtaking!

The house is situated in the most perfect location on Goose Rocks Beach. The added amenities of the tubes, kayaks, and paddle board added so much value. Everyone in my family tried them out daily. You can hear the waves crashing from the bedrooms at night. The bedrooms are thoughtfully appointed and provided private space for everyone in our party.

Heaven on Earth

The Beach Plum is a little slice of heaven on earth! Our family loves staying here and cannot wait to return next year!! Derek and Kathy have thought of everything to make their guests feel at home and comfortable in their cozy, spacious, and perfectly situated house. It's a pleasure to take care of everything as if its your own home because you can tell the love and care that is put into the Beach Plum and the consideration for it's guests. Beach Plum

This season marked our second year staying at Beach Plum in Goose Rocks Beach. In our mind there is no better place to be! The porch offers respite from the beach as well as a kind of meet and greet feeling from folks coming off the beach. By the way the beach access is just across the street. Living space is ample for large families, lots of room in the kitchen, and a full supply of every beach toy you would want in the garage! We look forward to another family get away there!
