Tim's Cabin in der Two Stone Row befindet sich auf einem 85 Hektar großen Grundstück im Norden des Albemarle County in Earlysville, Virginia. Die Hütte liegt auf einem kleinen Hügel, umgeben von Bäumen, mit einer Öffnung zu den Blue Ridge Mountains. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um die friedliche Landschaft von Virginia zu genießen. Entspannen Sie am Feuer, genießen Sie einen Kaffee auf der Veranda oder fischen Sie ein Boot im privaten Teich der Unterkunft. Sie können auch einen Tag im nahe gelegenen Weingut Moss Vineyards and Glasshouse Winery verbringen (beide nur 20 Autominuten entfernt) oder in die Innenstadt von Charlottesville, die nur 19 km entfernt liegt, ein paar Restaurants und Nachtleben.

Dieses wunderschön restaurierte Blockhaus wurde mit historischen, aus West Virginia stammenden, weißen Kiefernholzstämmen und altem Kiefernholz gebaut, das bei der Restaurierung ausgiebig verwendet wurde. Die Kabine bietet Platz für 4 Personen mit einem Queensize-Bett im Obergeschoss und einer ausziehbaren Couch im Hauptwohnzimmer. Die Hauptebene verfügt über einen offenen Grundriss, der eine voll ausgestattete Küche, einen Frühstückstisch für 4 Personen und ein Wohnzimmer mit einem Steinkamin bietet. Ein Flachbild-TV mit Apple TV sorgt für Ihre Lieblingssendungen und -filme. Das Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss bietet einen weiteren Holzkamin und ein Vollbad. Vor der Hauptebene, auf der Rückseite der Kabine, befindet sich eine Veranda mit Blick auf den Blue Ridge.

Als Gast der Unterkunft können Sie auch das Gelände und den nahegelegenen privaten Teich erkunden.

Für diejenigen, die Partys größer als 4 haben, ist Emily's Cabin auch auf dem Grundstück zu mieten und für 4 Personen. Perfekt für Freunde und Familie, die in der Nähe sein möchten.

A Lovely Couples Getaway

My partner and I had a lovely anniversary getaway to Tim’s Cabin! The cabin itself had a perfect location, situated deep in the woods. At night we sat and listened to the crickets outside, enjoying the separation from our usual city life. The house was around 20 minutes from downtown Charlottesville and 30 minutes from Shenandoah, so it was a perfect mix of country, downtown, and nature!Would love to come back again.

This cabin was great even with 4-6 inches of snow during our stay. The fireplaces kept us cozy, and we had plenty of nice dry firewood the whole time. The back porch offers beautiful mountain views.

Mountain Getaway

My husband and I found this amazing property for a quick and easy getaway weekend. The space was absolute perfection for us - we enjoyed the quiet outdoors while reading on the back porch, loved using the fireplaces, and had everything we needed at the cabin to cook dinner in and feel so comfortable in the house. We also loved that it was just 25-30 minutes away from downtown Charlottesville so we could still go out to dinner one night. We had a great long weekend in Tim's Cabin. The online listing is one of the most accurate we've ever seen. The descriptions were spot on. The cabin is comfy and views are amazing. We especially enjoyed the wood burning fireplaces. Location is ideal for getting out exploring, hiking, and winery hopping. Well worth the trip and would recommend.

Wilderness Log Cabin... 3 miles from Harris Teeter

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tim’s Cabin in Earlysville. It was so quiet and peaceful at the cabin, it was hard to believe we were minutes from Charlottesville. The cabin was comfortable and full of rustic charm. We liked to sit on the back porch enjoying the stunning view of the Blue Ridge and the occasional pileated woodpecker or hawk. It turned cool one night so we took advantage of the firepit, star gazed, and were surprised to hear an exchange between two Eastern Screech-owls. Our dogs enjoyed exploring the property and going for walks in the nearby woods. A wonderful place to stay and we hope to return again someday.

Paradise in Albermarle County

This stay surpassed all my greatest expectations. Nestled in the forest a half mile from the road is the authentic 18th century cabin; immaculately restored and furnished with period pieces throughout. I was greeted by the charming host who proudly maintains his family farm. I was invited to wander the property, to visit and tour his home to canoe on the large pond. If you even want to draw yourself away from Two Stone row, there is much to do in the area: Charlottesville is 6 miles away, dozens of wineries in the immediate area, and an afternoon trip will get you the hill cities of The Appalachians and of course, Monticello and Montpelier. But mainly, I will remember watching the deer from the porch of this historic log cabin. I dream to spend more time here in the future.

Vacation visit

We liked the pictures of Tim's cabin on the web site, but we were pleasantly surprised at how much better the place was than the pictures. The hosts have done an excellent job of preserving the charm of the cabin, while updating it to be very comfortable. The setting is absolutely beautiful with views of the mountains, trees all around, wildlife in abundance, all while providing a very private quiet stay. Access to Charlottesville, and all the wineries and is also very convenient. All in all, it was a great stay and I suspect that we will be returning when we can.

Little treasure

We have been very fortunate to travel to quite a few places, and this little cabin ranks up there as one of the best. Comfy, warm, inviting, it was a pleasant stay. Loved the logs, two fireplaces, and antique decorations. It was tucked away quiet and secluded with a beautiful view to the Blue Mountains, but close and convenient to many things. The only thing we thought it could use was more/brighter lighting downstairs. We would absolutely return again. Thank you for sharing. And thank you for the complimentary bottle of wine.
