We truly enjoyed our stay at this Middletown home. The house had everything we needed and more! The kitchen was fully stocked and the outdoor space was perfect. The house was very clean and the bedrooms were comfy. We also enjoyed the beautiful, quiet location with its proximity to Second Beach and downtown Newport. The living room could use some more seating options, but other than that, our stay was perfect!

We loved our stay! Our host was very attentive which made our check in and out, easy. The house was FULLY stocked which was a huge plus. We would absolutely consider renting again on our next trip.Although it did not detract from the overall stay, I would like to warn guests (especially older guests) of the raised dining room, which you can see in the property photos. It is elevated above the kitchen and the living room areas and the two floor levels blend in seamlessly. Even knowing the step was there, every guest tripped up the step or stumbled down the step. It became a joke by the end of the trip but I could see where it could end negatively. Overall great location!

Excellent in every way. Perfect location on quiet street but walking distance to Second Beach. Very clean, well stocked rental with every comfort you could want or need. Fire pit a huge plus. Downstairs man cave a nice feature. Enormous, well stocked kitchen with giant windows. Nice back yard. Excellent communication with owner. A/C worked well. Everything was in good working order and exactly as advertised. We had no issues. Beach chairs, umbrellas, towels are provided which was also nice. Very comfortable place. We will return. Thanks!

We were in town for our daughter’s hockey game at St George’s. 4 Kent fit the bill in every way: location, size of property, cleanliness. It’s a very cute house and very comfortable for our family.

Great place for the weekend

We had a great stay ~ terrific location on a quiet street close to the beach. Had everything we needed at the house for being comfortable and cooking/grilling, as well as all the beach gear we could want- communication and checkin was seamless- thank you! We will be back!

Perfect small family house for middletown RI

Me and wife were saying what a great property, we vacation in middletown every year and this house was great! everything was updated, kitchen was large and back patio was amazing with fire pit. We are family we 3 teenage kids, so the 2 rooms in the back with 3 beds and shared bathroom worked extremely well for us. Finished basement was great. and the owner also responded to any question we had within 10min-hour on the VRBO app. Also it was a 5 min walk to "2nd Beach". which also amazing. quiet neighborhood as well. a gem of a house in a gorgeous area. We will try and come back next year

Owner allowed us to check in a few hours earlier, 2:00 for a 3:00 wedding! Basically in and out, then came back and sat out on the patio on a lovely fall night. Property is lovely.

Wedding Weekend In Newport/Middletown

My friends and I needed a place to stay for a weekend wedding in Middletown. The location was nearly walkable to the venue and had every accommodation we needed. Plenty of space for us to get ready and hang our suits, dresses etc.. The house was very clean and had more space the pictures show which felt like enough already. The area is beautiful for walks as well and very private. Would come again!

Overall, it turned out awesome. We have experienced nightmares with previous VRBOs and Peter was a nice change of pace—we are new to this and learning what to expect and what not to expect (but keep a thumb on so there are less unfortunate screwups like owners not providing access codes to a family of kids and grandparents arriving off a plane in desert heat—this happened with our last rental). Peter was attentive to my messages about issues that came up with the home when we arrived and surveyed the house. A property manager was available to visit (he came outside of our home hours, which bothered me a little) and tend to a few matters left by previous persons in the home. We would like to go back one day since we know the place and treat it like a home should be treated, with a careful owner. I might be a bit more picky than other VRBO renters, but we leave a place better than we found it. Showers were clean and stocked, though we bring our own supplies. Beds were very comfortable and spacious. Basement was not used by us, but previous persons had left it in a state. Too many spiders, I would have gone through everything with a broom and a spray bottle if it weren't for the fact I felt I was handling enough already. Neighbor was sweet and helpful when I inquired about garbage collection—there were instructions in a guest book, but this was not obvious to find as I usually go straight to the kitchen and the walkway leads straight to that sight. It was a very nice, old place.
