Sie müssen buchstäblich nie fahren, wenn Sie in diesem Haus bleiben.

Mit einem privaten Pool mit Steinbrunnen, einem neuen 6-Personen-Whirlpool, einem Billardzimmer, einem Aufzug, einer geräumigen Küche, einem riesigen Wohnzimmer und einem Hauptschlafzimmer, elegantem Design, barrierefreiem Zugang und vielem mehr wird dieses Ferienhaus am Meer in Corolla für Sie und Ihre Gäste sorgen Ihre Familie hat den gesamten Aufenthalt unterhalten. Dieses OBX-Miethaus ist auch hundefreundlich, also bringen Sie Ihre "erweiterte" Familie mit und genießen Sie alle Möglichkeiten, die Outer Banks zu bieten hat!

Nachdem er spät in der Saison 2018 gekauft und in ein Mietprogramm aufgenommen wurde, nahm der Eigentümer die Vorschläge jedes Gastes zu Herzen. Zu den neuen Änderungen für die Saison 2019 gehören ein neuer Whirlpool, ein komplett neu eingerichtetes Wohnzimmer mit mehr Sitzgelegenheiten, neue Bettenoptionen sowie ein TV in jedem Zimmer, zusätzliche Küchenutensilien (Auflaufformen, Rührschüsseln usw.) und vieles mehr! * Aktualisierte Bilder von Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmern sollen kommen *

Absolutely love this house . Plenty of room and great location. It would have been an easier transition if we didn't have to make our own beds and would have loved more items available in the kitchen. It could have been cleaner. Lots of places were missed.

We really enjoyed the location and size of this house. The VRBO description was a bit misleading. It stated that there was a twin in the largest master bedroom but there wasn't. Also, we had to inquire about bathroom locations. I wish VRBO showed floor plans of the houses.

We have looked over our website and VRBO's site but cannot find this error. But, yes, the upstairs master bedroom has only a king bedroom with a private half bathroom and a private full bathroom. We will also work on the layout portion of the description to further detail bathroom locations. Great house & location

We had a wonderful week staying at this house over Christmas! The house was very open and roomy which was great, and having the hot tub was a nice bonus. It was a short walk to the beach and the weather was very nice for December. Our only complaint was that the furniture was not very comfortable in the living room or sunroom.

If the hot tub would have worked it would have been terrific. If the master king upstairs had a better mattress it would have been Heaven! Nice home...everything you need really is right there.

the location is great - features within are very nice. the beds aren't very comfortable, but are probably pretty standard for rental houses. short walk to the beach and quick shopping. love the corolla area and obx in general. we go "off season" to avoid the crowds - ate out, but kitchen nicely stocked with utensils.

Beautiful house and location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day weekend here. The house is amazing with roominess for many family members, huge kitchen, the pool/game room and hot tub were a HUGE hit with teens. Bike rentals up the street, grocery store/pizza/ice cream directly behind the house...walking distance to beautiful beach. Gorgeous neighborhood!! Dog friendly for sure. Perfection.

Great location

We loved that we had such easy access to the beach, shopping, restaurants, and activities like miniature golfing. The house was handicap accessible, had a lot of room to spread out for our group of 4 adults, 3 kids, and 2 dogs, and it had a lot of fun things to keep adults and kids busy inside and outside. The house had a few maintenance issues that were reported and taken care of for the most part, but that didn’t affect our stay.

Huge Home!

Loved the proximity to the beach and grocery store. I was looking for a completely wheelchair accessible home and this did have thick thresholds to get into the home making it difficult as well as bathroom sinks that were not wheelchair accessible nor a roll in shower. Home is definitely handicapped accessible (not wheelchair accessible) and otherwise very, very nice.

Okay week at the beach

The house was beautiful short walk to the beach plenty of room for our family. Few things could have definitely been better. The gas patio grill was extremely dirty & didn't work so it wasn't useable. The pool cleaners came & cleaned the pool & hot tub half way thru our stay after they refilled the hot tub it never heated back up & was like luke warm bath water the last 3 days besides that it was a good place to take a large family.

While the gas grill uses a main gas line to the house, and could have still been off since you were the first guests of the season, we have sent this gas and clean note along with the hot tub issue to maintenance to investigate further. On a future vacation, please give us a call if you ever have any issues so that we may immediately remedy any problems you encounter, and you can completely enjoy your stay. We hope that you and your family were able to enjoy your vacation and all the Outer Banks has to offer, especially in light of the current COVID-19 situation.

Great beach and shopping location

Had a wonderful time with our family ! We had plenty of room to spread out , loved the location , so convenient within walking distance to the beach and shopping and loved having the pool to swim in after our walks back from beach and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub as well. The house could use some updating inside , beautiful home but we think if it had fresh paint possibly more of a beach decor , some recliners for the older folks and some new couches esp upstairs in the game room and esp the outdoor furniture needs replaced. But overall we had a wonderful time. The driveway had plenty of parking for our whole family as well . The location is the most amazing part as u can walk to the grocery stores , shops , restaurants .. Thanks for sharing your place we made so many memories that will last a lifetime!

upstairs smoke detector

for 3 nights we had to listen to the intermittent chirping of the smoke alarm going off. Even though Cove realty was notified on the first morning after the beeping (Tuesday morning), when we left late afternoon Thursday it had not been fixed, much to the annoyance of the 5 people sleeping upstairs. Hopefully it has been fixed for the upcoming group of people arriving Friday afternoon. Also reported about the constant running of upstairs commode and kitchen faucet running and these were not repaired while there.

Exceeded my expectations

I was very impressed by this property! The house is huge and accommodated our 11 guests nicely. We loved the layout of the main living area being on the first floor, that was definitely a nice switch from all the other beach houses we have stayed at. Other reviews mention the number of handrails throughout the house. This didn’t bother us at all! We had older people with us and we found them quite helpful. Plus they are tastefully placed and they match nicely. Some of the bedrooms I wouldn’t necessarily classify as bedrooms. One is in the laundry room and the other is in a sunroom. But again this didn’t bother us. The house was very clean and the rental company was a pleasure to deal with. The house is close to the beach and the shopping center which was a huge plus. We would definitely recommend this home and would definitely stay here again. And I’m super picky :-)

Great location, maintenance poor

The location of this house couldn't have been better. Just a few blocks from the beach and grocery, eating, and stores within a small plaza, were a block away. When we arrived the cleaning crew did not thoroughly clean and we called to let COVE know. We were notified that someone would be there to take care of it, which he did. Some of the outside patio/pool furniture could not be used as the netting was torn. Advertised that all bedrooms had televisions in them. I know of one that did not have a remote and several did not have batteries. We did have a nice stay, but I think if you were renting out a place you need to go in and check to see what has to be replaced. Also, cleaning crew needs to be more thorough.

would not recommend this place

Beds were terrible. All of them were uncomfortable. The first day there the refrigerator broke and we had to use an old dirty one in the garage. The hot tub barely moved the water because the jets were so weak. It was like sitting in a hot bath tub outside. The garage one door did the button didn't work and you had to manually lift it up and then the door leading in to the house did not lock so we did not feel that was very safe. The pool table was missing a ball which the rental company replaced the following day. Location on the ad made it look like it was a closer to the beach than it really is. Kitchen cupboard dooes were lose and some felt like they were going to fall off. Pans were not that great, they were old and had loose handles. There was dust everywhere in the house and the one bedroom had a dust bunny on the floor the size of a baseball. A lot of the light bulbs were burned out. The house has potential to be nice if the owner would invest in some new beds and a new garage door and hot tub.

We're sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your stay, but glad that the problems you reported during check-in could be immediately remedied. We appreciate you letting us know about the hot tub and garage after your stay and, upon reading this feedback, we have sent that owner's hot tub vendor to inspect the jets and make repairs to any non-functioning parts (UPDATE 12/28/21 - the spa vendor went out on 12/27 to examine the hot tub jets and found the jet levers, which are accessible to guests and located on the top of the tub near the control panel, to have all been turned off. All levers have been shifted back to the on position jets have full power). As for the garage door, the left door is automatic by press of a button in the garage and the right door is manual. For security, both of these doors may be latched from the inside, so to prevent automatic and manual entry from the exterior. For future guests, if you ever encounter an issue during your stay, please immediately let us know so that we can promptly remedy any problem so that you can enjoy the entirety of your stay. We hope that, aside from these issues, you were able to enjoy all the Outer Banks has to offer!

Quirky but very accommodating home

This place is quirky, a bit choppy, but overall a great place for an extended family gathering. It had many oddly placed handicap handles that didn't seem particularly useful, and the small church room was definitely unique. Pros: * Large dining room table for playing games and eating together * Elevator for handicapped persons * Plenty of room to spread out * Pool table and arcade games were tons of fun * Location - could walk to beach, food lion, shops, restaurants, etc. * Kitchen was well-equipped. * Clean for the most part - a few places clearly had not been dusted for a long time. Cons (minor): * Maintenace came 4 times during our stay to do outside repairs and trimming. Not a huge deal and we were notified ahead of time, but still made the dogs bark. We were NOT notified when the woman came to clean the hot tub - luckily we weren't in it at the time. * Beds were hard (but I find that better than too soft) * Light switches everywhere! Labeling the light switches would go a long way to save time. Fans require a remote instead of a lightswitch. * Ice maker in the fridge needed to be defrosted * Hot tub jets were very weak, but still nice and relaxing

Thank you for your feedback on this rental home. The home was actually designed and built by the previous owner, who was in a wheelchair and also a very religious man, hence the many access bars around the home and the prayer room. As for exterior maintenance during a stay, lawn care and pool/spa service are performed by the owner's own maintenance team. Unfortunately, as these are third party vendors, they do care for the home at their own hours, so a heads up to their service is not always available. However, these vendors will never access the interior of the home. We're so happy that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again!

Huge home in a great location

We chose this property because it was located in a nice area, was wheelchair accessible with an elevator, was pet-friendly, and had a hot tub. The property was very nice and met all of our needs. The main areas were clean and functional. Every bedroom and living area had a TV with Netflix and the large playroom with a pool table was great. The beach was a short walk down the road but the access point near the house was not handicap/wheelchair accessible. We were able to drive 3 miles to get to a wheelchair accessible beach and we had a great time there. A shopping center with grocery store, restaurants, and shops is one block away. The outdoor area of the house did have spider webs and needed a good cleaning, as did the garage and driveway. The house is older and outdated, but functional. It’s a great place if you have a large group and need a lot of beds. We had a very nice family getaway here!

Great Location! Property needs some updates and deep cleaning.

Misleading advertising of 6 bedroom and baths. Bunk beds in the laundry area with attached bathroom that was the only full bath in the downstairs. Very outdated and strange layout. Old mismatched furniture. King bedroom downstairs had access to a half bath off the kitchen and had a front door. Another front door opens to one of the two staircases and an elevator to the upper bedrooms. There were so many doors to the outside. The layout upstairs was two baths off one bedroom and half baths off a huge game room. Mattresses upstairs need replacement. We took our own linens and we were so thankful because the blankets, pillows, and comforters were piled in closet floors. We cleaned surfaces and used all paper products due to Covid. Found dropped food, trash, and stuff under furniture. Cobwebs on ceilings, ceiling fans, and woodwork all dusty. Lots and lots of woodwork. Needs a really good cleaning, paint, updates, and lawn care. Huge house that needs some work. Has a lot of potential but not what we expected. Rental company, Cove Reality, was very helpful and we would use them again but probably not for this property.

We had a great time staying here. The home is beautiful inside and out. The only thing I would have changed was the mattresses could use upgraded.

Excellent layout and everything was nice

Excellent home with adequate space. Walking distance to lots of stores and to the beach. Children had a fun time with the game room. Enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and pool area and yard with room to set corn hole boards and kids enjoyed the volleyball area. Kids loved that they could walk to the beach and to the stores. Had a fabulous time and relax. Only thing needed is more cooking wear. Lacking spatulas, can opener didn’t work, need more serving trays and bowls. But other than that it was a nice set and we all had good time and our 2 families enjoyed letting our daughters celebrate their birthdays together at the beach. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Wonderful place

We loved this place just wished the pool was still open when we booked but the house was beautiful the kids had a blast and so did the adults
