We love visiting 7 Springs, and this property is perfect for our family. We love the location and spaciousness, and our kids love watching movies in the basement theater!

Not great

The place was quite dusty and neglected. The kitchen floor sounded like it was going to cave in. The hot tub we looked forward to turned out to be at the clubhouse, and it's outdoors. Not easy to use when it's frozen. The location to skiing isn't bad but you do have to walk a bit to get back. It's not actually a ski in place because the lift isn't working. The thing that I found most annoying was that they didn't even have ESPN on the TV. I tried to get the owner to add it but he told me it would be $600 a year to his plan and it didn't make sense for a rental property. I can understand not having premium channels but I imagine many guests would like ESPN. I also don't think it's $50 a month to add ESPN. It's also not a smart TV so I couldn't even screen share anything. To me it wasn't quite worth what I paid. For the money I spent I would expect a clean place, with decent TV options. But I have to be honest that it's a pretty nice location.

Great Stay

We've stayed in several of the Southwind properties over the years. This property was on par with the other properties. High end appliances, including washer & dryer, make staying for a week comfortable and convenient. It's close to the pool and rec center and we were able to swim every day - we were often the only people at the pool! Jeff called prior to our trip to provide contact information and a text with all the codes we needed.

Great location!

Wonderful condo! We loved being right by the lift. Tons of room for the kids and adults to have their own areas. Would like a coffee maker next time but we figured out a way to make coffee anyway. Maybe a crock pot too but I get that everything can't be supplied. The owner was responsive and very nice. We will be back next year!

Beautiful property, perfect location

Property was large and well-maintained. The location at the top of the mountain by Lake Tahoe was perfect for paddle boating and fishing. Views were fantastic and the owner was very responsive and flexible. Kids loved the projection, movie room for gaming.

The property and amenities need updating

The kitchen appliances and sheets and towels and mattresses and sofa - have all worn down and felt dingy and raggedy and uncomfortable. We were ready to g home in a couple of days. The home theater featured as an attraction was not useable as there was no easy way to connect our phones or computers to access our personal Netflix and other streaming services. Who uses or travels with DVDs these days? Also, the vessels and tools in kitchen need to be replaced. We did not feel the living experience was providing adequate value for the price we paid. Also the furniture was broken and jammed in awkward manner... felt like we moved from our comfortable home to a refuge instead of a vacation rental.

Seven Springs Get-A-Way

Decided to take a quick get a way to get some fresh air and get a nice view. We got both at Seven Springs. This town house was located at the top of the mountain, great views! The pool was closed due to Covid so that was a bit disappointing, no fault of the rental. The only suggestion I would offer would be to stock the kitchen with more cooking supplies. We cooked on a lot and with a good sized group and only one decent sized pot... we needed to get creative with our cooking. The grill has seen better days as well.... we didn’t use it at all. Over all we had a very nice time.

Perfect getaway weekend

We rented Jeff’s townhouse over the 4th of July with our 3 adult children. The house was super comfortable, had plenty of room for everyone and had everything we needed for a nice long weekend. Could not have asked for a better location. Cannot wait to come back again sometime soon. Everyone had a great time with zero complaints.

Great summer getaway while social distancing

Seven springs area has a lot to offer in the summer. We took our inflatable rowboat to Lake Tahoe steps from this condo. We enjoyed the heated pool alsonstepsnfrom the condo, with conscientious social distancing rules. We tried alpine sledding for the first time. We hiked through 300 year old hemlock trees in nearby Laurel Hills State Park. Such a lovely getaway during trying times. The condo was clean, just like the pictures. The movie room was a nice bonus. My only suggestion would be to add a Smart TV or streaming option!

Amazing condo, wonderful area

We were so pleased to stay at this beautiful condo, that was spacious and well decorated and had all of the comforts of home. Having come in the summer, we loved that it was a very short walk to the rec center with a beautiful pool/hot tub with an amazing view. Next time, we will definitely stay at this condo again and stay longer so we can enjoy all the area has to offer. Also, we have used vrbo countless times and the owner, Jeff, was one of the most accommodating, helpful owners we have come across. Thank you!

The Best On The Mountain!!

The entire stay was flawless! The owners are great to deal with. The house was beautiful and the layout was perfect for a large group. Location could not have been better. Definitely planning on a return visit soon.

I'd give 10 stars if I could...

My girlfriends and I stayed in this beautiful home for our bachelorette getaway
 and it seems we have finally found a home away from home! From the immaculate furnishings, to the breathtaking views, to the best location you could possibly stay at, we just can’t say enough great things about this property! The ski-in/ski-out made our weekend absolutely perfect! The living room has a great view for the ladies who wanted to stay cozy by the fireplace and watch us on the lift directly from the windows. We also took advantage of the amazing 110” theater room downstairs. We certainly hope to return again and again

Best Rental On The Mountain

This rental exceeded my expectations. The pictures do not do it justice, you really must experience this place for yourself. The best surprise was the master suite. There is a fireplace, that turns on by a switch, which sets the mood for the rest of the room and makes it feel like a romantic getaway. Another perk to this room is the view of the slope. The ski lift runs right behind the house so you can watch people ski & board from the wall of windows or from the room's private balcony. The room has a hallway (lined with 2 big closets) that leads to the incredible master bathroom. Note: there is no door between bedroom and bathroom. In the bathroom you will find a bath tub big enough for two, a large walk in shower with tile bench seat, double sinks, and a separate closed off toilet. The second upstairs bedroom is down the hall. It has a good sized closet, a queen bed, small twin like bed, and its own bathroom. The bedroom on the middle floor does not have a bathroom in it, the bathroom is located right next to it. The kitchen is stocked nicely with the basics. The only thing I needed that they didn't have was aluminum foil. Off the living room is a porch that has stairs leading down to the slope. All you have to do is strap on your gear and go! It was really convenient staying at this house because you literately get off the ski lift and in a few steps your at the house. Don't forget to pack a few movies to watch in the downstairs theater room, you won't regret it. The owner Jeff is extremely friendly and easy to work with. The house was clean, convenient, quiet, and spacious. What more do you need? I will definitely be back next year. Worth every penny!!!!!!!
