Wo Sie reichlich lokale Restaurants haben oder eine Fahrt auf den Lookout Mt mit der Incline Railway unternehmen können. Holen Sie sich Eis bei MsTs oder fahren Sie weiter in die Innenstadt von Chattanooga am River Front Parkway.
(Down Town ist 2-3 Meile entfernt oder eine 5-minütige Fahrt.)

We loved this little house! It was a reasonable distance from everything we wanted to do. I like that it was on a one way street with a walking lane. Loved the industrial decorations! I could see that the hosts had an appreciation for art and artists. It was clean and stocked well! My kids loved having the park that was about a 3 minute walk away. Our little dog Charlie very much enjoyed his stay too! If you are in the area, I recommend Rock City, The Tennessee Valley Railroad and spending a day exploring downtown Chattanooga with no itinerary. I was trying to add photos but they wont add so sorry about that.

This home is for you if you want an excellent location to Lookout Mountain, downtown, and hiking northwest of the city. The bungalow was very clean, well appointed with everything we needed, in a quiet, safe area. It speaks volumes that we did not need to contact the property owner a single time!

Charming and comfortable

The location for Lookout Mountain was the best. We also enjoyed neighborhood walks and the hike/bike trail right out front. The house was perfect. It was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and we were especially thankful for excellent AC since we were there during a heatwave. We loved Ruby Falls and Rock City which were both fun escapes from the heat as well.

Nice little cottage. The location was 10 minutes from hmy daughter's house. About the same to downtown Chattanooga. We are from Chattanooga originally,so I can say without reservation that this would the ideal location for seeing the sights and sounds in and around Chattown

Great cottage and perfect area!

This cottage was perfect for our family of four. It was very close to St. Elmo and all the attractions in Chattanooga and Lookout mountain. We had the best spring break getaway! Kitchen was fully stocked and loved having the washer and dryer so we didn’t go home with dirty clothes!

Great historic house

We loved the charm of the house. My son enjoyed the yard and grass area next to the house. Lots of other families and neighbors out walking. Was a great location. We booked through VRBO and sent a few messages to host and never received a response. When we arrived door code didn’t work. We called a number provided and it’s a rental company. They gave us the code so it was ok. But wish they would check messages through VRBO.

Cute and Quiet

Enjoyed our stay. St Elmo is our kind of vibe, lots of people jogging and walking and biking and close to lots of things. Cooked a whole meal here with no problems. The front porch swing was my favorite part. Really well-cleaned interior. Queen bed is soft as other reviews mentioned - not uncomfortable or lumpy just squishy soft - so if you really need a firm mattress you won’t sleep well here.

Lovely Family Trip

Little get away

We enjoyed our stay at this cute, clean, charming house. The kids loved the bunk beds & games. The kid plates/cups/bowls were a huge plus! Perfect location

This home was the perfect little stay for our family in the historic St. Elmo district. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, the convenience of being so centrally located to all the local attractions and amenities, and the cleanliness of the house. Quiet neighborhood

We had a 2 night stay. The home is in a quiet neighborhood not far from the Incline Railway and restaurants. We had trouble with the TV because the previous guests apparently signed out of the owners subscription and signed in using their personal information. I reached out through VRBO which I had used to ask questions prior to our stay and did get a reply until the next day and then the owners had to come to the house and sign back in. So our plan to stay in and enjoy pizza and a movie the first night didn’t work out. The house was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The location was good - close to a park and great walking. The listing was not accurate: furniture in and out did not match the listing. The outside was rundown/unkempt and the inside included sticky floors, soiled furniture and towels, left over belongings (make up and clothes) from the previous individuals, etc. The manager was responsive about the lack of cleanliness and we were returned the cleaning fee. We did have to wait on some additional issues with the home locking. We also noticed two missing fire/smoke detectors in the home. The home/rental has potential.

We love VRBO and are excited about creating new spaces to show off our neighborhood. We enjoy working with local artists and creating spaces for them to flourish, this is our passion. We have two rambunctious and adventurous children that keep us on our toes and feeling young!

Visit Mojo Burrito, delicious food in a hip environment, 1885 Restaurant for a more upscale dining experience, don't miss out on their incredible fresh water trout blackened or grilled, or St. Elmo's own Purple Daisy and dine on a BBQ sandwich. St. Elmo Deli will provide you with the perfect lunch on the run. Don't forget Mr.T's Pizza and hand scooped ice cream that has been in the neighborhood for over 20 years!!!! The choices are endless!

See seven states from Rock City, visit the nation's largest and deepest underground waterfall at Ruby Falls, take a short ride on the Incline Railway to ascend and descend Lookout Mt, where you have access to amazing views from the top of Lookout Mountain from Point Park, or visit Sunset Rock. We are a mere 5 miles from downtown Chattanooga. Enjoy the river front at Ross's landing on the banks of the Tennessee River, visit the Tennessee Aquarium, and walk right down Broad St and enjoy a Moon Pie! How would you like to see the Hunter Museum or take a walk across the nation's longest pedestrian bridge to Coolidge park in North Chattanooga? There are many locally owned businesses and also some familiar favorites. The list is endless!! (That's just getting to see Chattanooga as a tourist!)
