Zwei Schlafzimmer. Man hat ein Doppelbett mit festen Sealy Matratze. Schlafzimmer zwei mit Etagenbetten, desto geringer ist eine doppelte, die obere eine einzige.
Wohnzimmer hat zwei Sofas.
Küche verfügt über Elektroherd mit Backofen, 20 cu ft Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Herr Kaffee - Kaffeemaschine, Töpfe und Pfannen, Bratpfanne, viele Tassen, Teller, Besteck.
Bad ist klein 3/4 Bad mit Dusche. Der Durchlauferhitzer befindet sich unter der Spüle und hat ungefähr 12 Gallonen, also keine Hollywood-Duschen.
TV - ROKU 2018 32 "3 lokale AIR-Kanäle CBS, FOX, METV .plus Dutzende Kanäle auf ROKU & PLUTO. Der Schreibtisch im LR hat ein paar Gesellschaftsspiele. Scrabble, Karten, Dame und Monopol. Es gibt einen Staubsauger, ein paar Besen und ein paar Reinigungsprodukte.
Holzkohlegrill.
Holzofen für Wärme. 3 Fans, No Air. Das Cottage liegt im Schatten, nur 2 km vom Michigansee entfernt. Im Allgemeinen sind die Lufttemperaturen um 10 Grad kühler als im Landesinneren.
Feuerstelle am Straßenrand plus eine am Wasser. Land über den Kanal für freies Brennholz oder mehrere Orte in der Umgebung verkaufen Bündel ab 3 US-Dollar.
Es gibt 5 Liegestühle und ein Paar Liegestühle unter den Etagenbetten.
14 'Sea Nymph "R" Aluminium-Ruderboot und Ruder werden mit dem optionalen HONDA 5 HP-Außenborder geliefert. (75 $ pro Aufenthalt für den Außenborder). Coleman Kanu und Paddel enthalten. 4 von der Küstenwache zugelassene Schwimmkissen Sitzkissen und vier Schwimmwesten (3 sind Kindergrößen).

Sadly this was the worse Vrbo rental that we have experienced. Although the PIN number for the lock was reported email to us, I was unable to find it. Luckily after messaging the owner he informed us that the door was unlocked and then later sent us the PIN number for the box lock where the key was at. Upon entering the cottage we were hit with a horrible odor which I assumed was because it was an old cottage. My husband then discovered that the smell was coming from the water softener device under the kitchen sink. Then after reading the notes the owner left indicating that because of the 10 gal. water tankwe should only take a 4 minute shower to avoid running out of hot water, this was not well received. He also indicated that he didn’t provide any towels because it wasn’t a hotel, we didn’t take any towels with us. Then walking through the cottage, I saw spider webs under the windows in the tv area and under the dresser in the bathroom. The shower itself was old, looked dirty and quite creepy, the pots and pans available were old Teflon. Honestly I wanted to leave but because we had driven close to four hours and were there to celebrate an anniversary we decided to make the best of it. We then drove 30 minutes to the nearest WalMart to buy towels, candles, Clorox wipes, Lysol spray and a pot and pan to cook with. Upon our return we noticed the water pressure was decreasing in the cottage. By 11ish pm there was no water. After texting the owner he fixed the issue, next day

The location of this cabin couldnt be better! Just far enough to be out of the craziness of downtown but only min away from everything! We had so much fun.

Location is perfect. Close to lots of activities which we took advantage of. Fun fishing off dock. Peaceful location. Communication with host was excellent. View out back must be spectacular during fall peak color! Property is as described. I understand the cottage is old but I don’t understand the lack of cleanliness or upkeep of property. Dirt, dust, grime, cobwebs, dead bugs everywhere, floors, ceilings, walls. Floors and counters black when you wipe them. Windows filthy inside and out which I had to clean to enjoy the view outback. Had to sweep and vacuum when we got there to clean up dust, dirt and dog hair. Fortunately the beds did have clean sheets but I’m sure there was no “maid service” after previous guests or multiple months of guests. Toothpaste and water spots on bathroom mirror. Grime around base of toilet. Unnecessary stuff outside around cottage making it look very unkept. Needs some basic maintenance and upkeep and a very deep cleaning. While we had a great time the lack of cleanliness definitely put a damper on our mini vacation and hadn’t planned on scrubbing countertops, dining table and windows to start our time away. Great, great location but the place was filthy!

Place is sad the air conditioner that supposedly had in the one room all it did was blow hot air. It was 95 and it stunk we have pictures. We will be wanting a refund. We had to check out shower wouldn’t work. Oven was filthy dirty windows cobwebs in the house out of the house Truly nightmare. Add a photo.

We had a great time! The location was perfect, the canoe, firepit, and other inside amenities allowed us to have an even better time. This place is serene and beautiful. Great fishing!

The area was a great place for exploring nature. Rent the motor boat take a nice ride to dunes. Have a picnic, play in the sand. We enjoyed all it had to offer.

Great Memorial day weekend !

This is the 2nd time my family and I have stayed here. We love the location and price of this cabin. This time we got to use the wood burner for heat which my husband loved! We took the row boat out and watched a muskrat or beaver swim back and forth to build his nest across the creek. Keep a lookout for him! We took our new Bronco on the dunes, went to the lighthouse for the sunset, silver lake beach, Craig’s, and of course Whippy dip!Steve is quick to respond and easy to rent from. We had no issues and I’m sure we will be back again!

The perfect stay for a silver lake retreat.

The property was clean and cozy, with a wood heater that made you feel some type of way. We had a fantastic time and are so thsnkful for steve. The inclusion of boats made for an unforgettable experience for my partners birthday. We will definitely be returning!

Rustic cabin on the lake in a peaceful neighborhood. Communicating with the property owner was easy with a quick response. Many things to do in the area and was a nice stay.

Nice little spot on the creek, rode side by sides by day, caught catfish by night!

a comfy and cozy spot on the creek, the kids had a good time and the price was perfect!!!! Had a great time fishing and bird watching with our drone with the kids. We will be back again.

Loved it!

Leaving a 5+ review. The place is a perfect getaway! Loved the canal in front of the cabin. The canoe was perfect for the canal. Definitely need a boat with motor to go to Silver Lake. Absolutely the best beaches on Silver Lake and Lake Michigan. So much to do. Worth a stay if you want to have a chill time or do stuff in town. Close to everything.

Easy and all we needed

The 14' boat was a bonus and fun to take to the dune on Silver Lake for the day. It's an easy spot for the people going to Lake Michigan as well as the ones going to Silver Lake or the sand dunes. Good old fishing cabin. It was perfect.

Graduated GVSU 1978. Licensed Realtor and property manager since 1978. Married 41 years, now Im not. Two daughters and grandchildren.

I grew up in Oceana County. As soon as we turned 16 and could drive, Silver Lake was the place to go in the Summer. I noted most cottage owners were 40-70+ years old; Not wanting to wait, I bought my cottage asap in 1977 when in college. Lots on Silver Lake Water Front were and still are cost prohibitive for me, however on the silver lake channel I could afford water front and have access to Silver Lake via boat.. My kids have fond memories of the summers at this cottage as well and many of their friends.
I appreciate my guests that help pay the property insurance, taxes, maintenance, and utilities by renting the cottage.

The channel in front of my cottage offers the option of taking the boat or canoe to a County park with 2 tables on the channel for a change from the popular Silver Lake, paddle a little more will take you to the dam. End of the trail for boaters. Kids or Adults alike will remember the little boat trips for a life time. One family told me the kids spent the whole week in the canoe.
