We recently stayed at this lakefront home and overall it was a beautiful, very relaxing property. It was a much-needed getaway for our family, and the lake views and peaceful setting were wonderful. The home was well stocked with towels and washcloths—plenty to comfortably accommodate our family of 8 for our 5-day stay, which we really appreciated.We stayed over Christmas, and while the home itself was lovely, it would have been nice if there had been a Christmas tree. We ended up going into town to buy a small tree so we could put presents out, which wasn’t a huge issue but something to note for holiday stays.The biggest downside was cleanliness. A couple of the tubs had not been properly cleaned and had pink mold and hair on the tub walls and floors. There were also cobwebs in the corners of the ceilings and significant dust buildup on the ceiling fans. I mention this especially because members of our family have dust allergies, which made it more noticeable and uncomfortable.Another minor frustration was the master bedroom lighting. There is no overhead light, and only two very dim lamps, which made it difficult to see at night.Despite these issues, the home itself is lovely and has great potential. With improved cleaning and a few small updates, it could be an excellent place to stay.
