Lexington Country Club - Lake Village (Tennis / Golf / Pool)

I am sorry to hear they did not enjoy their stay in our home this year. They were returning renters from the year before and had always communicated with me in a very positive way throughout the year. They had previously rented the same month in 2019, so they were familiar with our home and could not wait to get back. During their stay in 2020, they didn’t mention anything to me about problems or concerns other than a toilet seat repair. My wife and I have already budgeted for doing a few upgrades for next year, including a new sofa, new king size master bed, new carpet throughout, repainting the lanai and new master bedroom TV, prior to October 1, 2020. These upgrades are now complete. There are two additional factors that may have impacted their review. The first is that the entire complex was shut down for COVID-19 and they could not enjoy the amenities like they did in 2019. The other situation was that in February 2020, I had already rented our home to new renters for 5 months in 2021 instead of a one month rental from them, which was solely a business decision. It is unfortunate they did not call me about any concerns they may have had during their stay as we may have been able to address some of the items sooner. My wife and I take pride in our home and do upgrades each year as needed. We have been renting our condo for 15 years and have had many happy and returning renters. I have references upon requests.

This was an unfortunate event of circumstances, which lead to a bad first impression for this renter. There was a miscommunication from the prior renter as to when they were leaving their stay and when the cleaning lady was to arrive. Unfortunately, the condo was not cleaned when they arrived following their long journey. Once I knew what happened, the cleaning lady was there within the hour. I can understand that after a long drive, you are tired would like to just relax and enjoy yourself. Because of this situation with the cleaning person, she was unable relax when she arrived. This has never happened before and never will happen again. Everything is normally on a tight schedule and everything clean upon arrival. We have had multiple repeat renters and we have never had a problem and we have become friends. In fact, I have had six repeat renters over the years that loved it so much that they ended up purchasing a unit in Lexington. If anybody would like a reference from one of these renters, I can arrange a call with them. They are now full time residents and love it at Lexington. Our condo (as this person referenced) is in one of the best locations in Lexington as it is just one building away from the main pool, Tiki bar and fitness center. My wife and I take a lot of pride in our condo and we love it very much when we stay there. Our condo is not just a rental property. It is going to be, in the near future, a place where we retire from seasonally cold Philadelphia. I am also a Realtor and understand what is required and necessary for an extremely comfortable stay.
