We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house in Vero Beach. The location of the house is fantastic! The neighborhood is very quiet and it is just a short walk to the beach and a short drive to restaurants, groceries and the dog park. We will definitely stay here again if we decide to take another beach vacation next year.

Lauren was a wonderful hostess and so helpful, she even had welcome biscotti sent to us! The bed was super comfortable and the shower had great pressure, the adjustable sprayer was an added bonus. The house was clean and beautifully decorated and furnished. Our dog, Peaches, had the best time exploring the fenced in backyard and hubby made excellent meals on the grill! 10/10 we highly recommend

Excellent proximity to beach and stores. Kids had a blast, and the casita was a wonderful respite for my mother-in-law. Plenty of space inside and out, and the amenities were more than enough. Internet was a little spotty, but we hope to be back again!

It was a nice place to stay. The host was helpful and very pleasant. The only thing I would warn anyone about was during the heat of the day the house can get a little warm. If it over 80 outside it will be 75 to 83 in the house with the AC set on 70. It cools off once the sun sets and gets rather cold over night. But heats up again by 1pm generally.

I'm sorry to learn that you were uncomfortable with the indoor temperature during the hottest part of the day. This is actually the first time I'm hearing of this concern, as it wasn't mentioned during your stay. Had I known, I would have immediately arranged for the air conditioning to be inspected or provided additional equipment, such as portable dehumidifiers or personal fans to make you more comfortable. During your visit, South Florida was experiencing an extended period of extreme summer heat, with outdoor temperatures in the upper 90s to around 100°F. Even so, our central air conditioning is designed to maintain a comfortable indoor environment, and we would have appreciated the opportunity to address your concerns while you were still at the property. We're pleased you enjoyed the home overall, and we hope the private beach access and ocean breezes helped make your vacation enjoyable.

Great traditional FL cottage, amazingly wonderful beach

The cottage and host were terrific, host was most responsive and helpful. Private beach, pet friendly, was the highlight for us. Wonderful walks on the beach meeting other dog friendly folks (and dogs). This is the ideal beach focused get away.

The house, location, yard and beach access were great. The beach access is close by and the beach secluded. We loved traveling with our dog and the house is perfectly set up for that. There were a couple of items that our host resolved quickly.We love cooking as a family, and the kitchen was set up for that. The WIFI is a little weak, probably an island thing. I would rent this place again.

Wonderful Beach Getaway

We had a wonderful time staying at this location. The house has everything needed for a day at the beach (chairs, cart, boogie boards, sand toys, fishing gear). And the beach is just a short walk. Would definitely recommend this house for a fun family getaway!

Great location for a great beach week. Super easy walk to a secluded beach. House was great for what we needed. Lots of room, separate building was amazing too. Outdoor shower was definitely needed after a day at the beach! Great stay!

We had a wonderful time in Vero! We were so close to the beach, just a short walk. The beach was so quiet as we were in between public access points. It felt like a private beach! Thanks so much!

Excellent Property

Two families staying in town for a baseball tournament with teens. Plenty of space for all. The house was well stocked and the host was great with communication. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

Private Beach

We essentially had a beautiful private beach. The house was clean and well stocked. Our pups enjoyed the fenced in back yard.

The home is very nice. Plenty of towels, lots of extras available such as sunscreen, bug spray, condiments, etc. Washer & dryer made it nice so we could pack light & the detergent was provided. The extra “cabana” made it nice to have some quiet/private time. It could use a dehumidifier, but the privacy— including a full bath— was fantastic to have. I was surprised that the house is not oceanFRONT— but rather in a gated community with private beach access and is the first house off the main road. Still an excellent location that we enjoyed very much. The WiFi was a bit sketchy while we were there but I think that was abnormal. We let the owner know and she was checking into it. Lauren was a great host & we would stay here again.

We look forward to hosting you again in the future. We are glad that you had a good time. The air conditioner has a dehumidifier setting but I am happy to provide a portable one if you feel it is needed. Our description says we are on a sand street a few houses away from the beach but I am sorry if it was misleading. That was a suggestion from VRBO when the information was posted. Our provider for internet said they are upgrading services in the area and perhaps that was the cause of your issue. We appreciate you staying with us .
