We enjoyed perfect late summer weather at the lake. The view is extremely relaxing and makes for a great vacation.Lots of places to sit outside. We even enjoyed the canoe and kayak.

Very nice home - the owner was always prompt in answering questions. Pet friendly was a huge plus as well as using the canoe everyday.Downside, it is extremely HOT and no air conditioners - only 3 fans, one of which barely worked, Downside - the small appliances in the kitchen, ie toaster, pans, I would not use as their appearance was total filth along with the shelving looked like and smelled horrid.We left three days early due to no air conditioning .

As always, this was a great place to stay. Check-in was super easy and Tracy contacted us to make sure we were settled in. The house is always very clean when we check in and communicating with Tracy is so easy. She is VERY responsive, kind, and has great recommendations for local restuarants and ICE CREAM. We are repeat guests and will continue to be for a long time. You can't beat life on the lake with only a very short trip to the beach! I highly recommend.

Beautiful Lake View

It was a wonderful relaxing vacation! The large deck that over looks the lake was a wonderful spot to have your morning coffee and eat dinner while watching the amazing sunsets! Enjoyed swimming in the lake every day and catching up on reading sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the dock.

We had a lovely week at this charming lake cottage. Though it is on the petite side, the owner has made wonderful and efficient use of all the available space. The deck, dock and lake make this spot exceptional. We loved the views, the boats and the peacefulness of being on the water.

Adorable bungalow

I was super impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was from a tools and appliances standpoint! Lots of towels available for beach and showers and we appreciated being able to dine outdoors with plastic ware as well. Really cute home, and my pups loved that they can walk into the water and still be leashed to trees nearby. Guests need to really read the amenities available. There are absolutely no spices, cooking oil, flour, coffee etc available so be aware you must bring everything including shampoo and conditioner — this isn’t a complaint as none were promised, just a heads up. Another caution if you have dogs is to bring 2 baby gates to close off the deck, and be aware the property is right next to the resident’s beach and dock so lots of visitors (my dogs barked and barked so kept them inside much of the time). Also, you are expected to bring the very large recycling and trash barrels to the street. As a 66 year old five foot tall woman, I struggled getting them over the 12” concrete retaining wall. Would hope the owners consider hiring someone to bring out the bins .

Heavenly!

This was the perfect vacation spot! The house, though small, had everything I could possibly have needed and it was definitely one of the cleanest homes I have rented. The lake was just as I had remembered from years ago, so peaceful, away from it all, yet only a few minutes from the beaches and other attractions. I did not want to come home. I hope to go back again.

Idyllic 50's Lake House

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay at this fabulous 50's lake house. The house is small but perfect for us. It is set in a peaceful, quiet, family neighborhood and is also close to just about everything. Providence, Narragansett beaches, Newport, historic Wickford Village and the lovely small Gilbert Stuart museum were some of our favorite visits. It was super convenient and easy to go out and explore and some days we just stayed right at home and enjoyed the tranquility and privacy of the lake with kayak, swimming and gorgeous sunsets. Tracy the owner was super responsive and communication was perfect. Highly recommend!

Our week at Indian Lake

The house was comfortable and had many basic accommodations. We really enjoyed the lake front and dock. The stay was quiet and relaxing but the location allowed for access to a lot of activities. We would recommend staying there and will probably rent again.

Great lake cottage

My husband and I found the cottage to be perfect for our needs. We brought our dog, and the property was great for him as well. The cottage is located close to some of our favorite places - Beavertail state park, Point Judith, Wakefield, and Wickford, to name a few. The cottage was equipped with everything necessary for a nice vacation. We had no complaints whatsoever.

Little Slice of Heaven

The location of this lake house is a dream. I never got tired of sitting by the lake and relaxing! It’s gorgeous and so relaxing. We were there in early August and it did get really hot during the day and there were fans which barely kept the house cool, but at night it was fine. Other than that, the kitchen was fully stocked with cooking amenities and utensils, and the bedrooms and bathrooms had linens, pillows, and plenty of towels. It’s a small house so I think it’s perfect for a party of four or less, more than that and it might be a crowd.
