Beautiful little house, very quiet and private away from everything. Perfect if you want to get away, unwind and switch off. Pool is perfect, very deep and refreshing to cool off from the heat. Siobhan is prompt with answers to any queries and checking in to make sure everything is going smoothly. We hope to come back here soon.

Casa Azahar is wonderful!The house itself is so beautifully restored inside and out, the photos dont do it justice!The interior has a great layout with well equipped kitchen,and dining area, comfortable sitting room and no shortage of bathing opportunities!The outside spaces are no less impressive with three different levels to take in different views. The pool is fantastic but the star of the show for us was the internal courtyard with huge Monstera plants.Siobhan gave excellent directions and lots of useful information.Thanks for a wonderful stay we will be back.

We spent 11 days in this lovely accommodation in a pretty, quiet Andalusian village. The house is a perfect base for exploring the area including Granada (the Alhambra) and Cordoba. Only 45 minutes drive from the coast also. A lovely place to relax both inside and on the terraces which overlook orange and olive groves. The house is beautiful with lots of character - a real home from home.

Cool pool

We stayed here during the recent heat wave and the pool was a life saver. So nice to jump in after a morning touring the area. The house was clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen. It was the second time we stayed at Casa Azahar, and we had a wonderful time. Fabulous house

We had a wonderful week in sleepy Saleres and definitely recommend the house for a relaxing holiday. Having a choice of 3 different levels to choose from is a real luxury throughout the day. The local bar was great to visit but we were usually the only visitors!! Fantastic setting and wonderful views everywhere.

Perfect holiday

What a fantastic holiday. The house was perfect and full of character. Lots of places to relax in the sun and shade. Wonderful location in a peaceful village but within driving distance from Granada, the coast and other surrounding towns and villages. Siobhan was very helpful with lots of information about the house and surrounding area. Particularly enjoyed the walks from the village, including the gorge. Would recommend to anyone interested in a peaceful holiday.

Sanctuary

Great week at Casa Azahar. The house is very special. It was difficult to choose a favourite space in such an interesting and comfortable property. The interior patio, pool room, terraces, sitting room and of course the pool were all fantastic. Walks in surrounding area and proximity to Grenada add to the attraction of Casa Azahar.

It is a very nice place in a very beautiful valley.The house needs a little bit of TLC. It puts a lot of strain and wear and tear on a house having a lot of guests and the harsh summer sun.We had a wonderful time and super respons from the host, when we had any questions or issues. Wonderful location away from tourist crowds

The house is absolutly wonderful. There was during our stay pool-service and when there where questions or little problems, the reply was immediate. Very good contact and nice people serviced.The reason the three stars for cleaness of the house is the behavior of the people, that have been there before us (not clearing the refrigerator, left food packages, left things in the bathroom etc.). But summarized: Best to chill.

Sehr schön

Wunderbar verträumtes Häuschen in einer tollen Umgebung. Pool und Sitzgelegenheiten am Pool waren super gemütlich. Besuch der Junta de los Rios und des kleinen Canyons fußläufig vom Haus entfernt lohnen sich. Dort kann man einige schöne Tage verbringen.

Great hideaway

We really enjoyed the the flair of Casa Azahar and the tranquile surroundings! We would recommend the house to ervyone who wants to take a timeout in a calm environment. Also visiting Granada, Malaga or Cordoba is easy from Saleres!

Simply perfect!

The house is just perfect for a relaxing holiday. You don‘t hear any noises only the sound of nature. The next big city is Granada (which is like a 30min drive from Saleres) and you can really feel the life being slow in all those small towns around Saleres - which is awesome for a relaxing holiday trip and to get away from the everyday life. The house itself was very clean. You‘ll find every tool that you need to cook your own food or you could drive to one of the restaurants in the other villages near by. Since you‘re apart from the big cities you really need a car to get to the house (there is also a bus which drives through the town once a day I think). The pool was perfect to cool yourself after a hot day. Even more impressive was the bathub on the top floor (there is one in the bedroom and also one on the top balcony). Ange, who takes care of the house, is a really lovely person who can always help you if you need anything. The communication before the actual stay was also very, very good - most of the time it only took some minutes to get a reply from Siobhan. It‘s hard to find the right words to describe the house - all we can say is that we had awesome 10 days and we’re really looking forward to come back next year. Thank you so much!

Tolles Haus mit reichlich Platz.

Man kann sich gar nicht entscheiden wo mal am liebsten sein möchte: im/am Pool, oder in der Patio, oder im Wohnzimmer mit der Riesencouch, auf der mittleren Veranda, oder auf dem Sonnendeck ganz oben. Die Wohnung ist auch sehr gut eingerichtet, alles was benötigt wird haben wir gefunden. Dazu noch ein guter Vorortservice/Ansprechpartnerin für die kleinen Probleme oder Fragen und prima Tipps von der Vermieterin was Essen und Wanderungen in der Nähe angeht.

The house was really wonderful as was the village. Absolutely great also for travelers without a car

The host, Ange, was very friendly and helpful. When the hot water didn’t work (probably due to the heavy storms) she fixed it within 15 minutes. The house is really comfortable for a longer stay and there are lots of opportunities for thos who like walking!

Omar, I have given you a one star review as you left my house in a terrible state, caused damage to artworks, broke house rules by smoking, moved furniture from one room to another and caused us to spend many extra hours cleaning because it was so filthy and putting the house back together again (I have photographic evidence for all of this). In five years we have never had a guest leave the place in such a state. And I have never before left a one star review. It's a shame that you had to retaliate by downgrading our house to three stars when you told our host you wanted to stay longer as you liked it so much.

Excellent séjour

Excellent séjour dans cette maison magnifique dans le charmant village de Saleres ! Des petites balades à ne pas rater sont à faire dans El Valle! Piscine fraîche, cadre qui invite à la détente. Un seul petit détail : les baignoires sont très grandes, consomment énormément d eau et pas de possibilité de se doucher dedans donc au final une seule douche fonctionne.
