This property was perfect for our large family! Enough room to not feel like we were on top of each other. The front and back decks were perfect for an outside supper too!

Amazing stay

We stayed over the weekend and it was such a wonderful experience. This is a lovely home with all the accommodations you need. We reallt enjoy the decks and grill. My boys even played cornhole.

Perfect home away from home.

So cozy, comfortable, and inviting. I would LIVE here if I got the chance. The house and yard is beautiful. Linda was the sweetest and the house had everything you could possibly need and more. I loved everything about this place! 10/10

The best lake house we've ever stayed at!!!

I will NOT be able to say enough about this house. Meticulously maintained and clean. No attention to detail is spared! The entire grounds from outside to inside is very well kept. Perfectly settled on a dead end street in a wooded area which makes for peace and quiet and solitude. The house is beautifully decorated with personal touches everywhere. It is stocked with anything you would need which includes the kitchen area as well. You feel completely comfortable like you would in your own home. Downstairs game area was a hit with the kids. Multiple decks where you can sit and enjoy each other and the ambience. Did not see one spider web or bug for that matter which is very rare when you stay at these houses. You can tell they put so much detail into the cleaning because even the outside decks and fire pit area had no webs or bugs or anything like that. Horse shoes by the fire pit area as well. The thing that sets this house apart though is the personal touches: frosted glasses in the freezer, a plate of cookies waiting for you on the counter, a candy machine they keep stocked, hand written "welcome" signs, the exact number of coffee packets you need for each morning you are there, huge bundle of firewood and a basket of kindling with lighter fluid and matches by the fire pit so you can easily and quickly get it going. Ok I'm going to quit now haha. You can obviously tell they love this home and take such pride in it and really want you to enjoy your stay!

Wonderful lake house!!

We spent a long weekend at this property. We loved the house! Things that weren't mentioned in the listing Playground with mud kitchen. My son had so much fun out there! This house has everything you can imagine needing! You will not run out of bedding or towels. Everything you could need in a kitchen is there. The bathrooms are nice and updated. AC works great! We have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and this is at the top of our favorites!

Lake get away

The property was nice clean and we'll equipped for a week at the lake. The upstairs deck was great and we enjoyed having coffee on it each morning. The house was very comfortable with the exception of a stairway not made for tall people.

Simply Outstanding!

This house was perfect for my family! Extremely clean and the multiple decks to hang out on were awesome. Lots of little touches you don't get everywhere like cornhole under the big deck where you can play if it rains, candy machine for kids, large covered deck and cookies waiting for you when you get there. Location is great and you are less than 2 minutes from "The Deck bar and grill" for food, adult beverages and live music on the weekends...or you can choose to hang out at the house and relax on the property.....great house guys and we definitely look forward to staying again.

Social Distancing Vacation

We hoped to get away for a few days and not worry about being around a ton of other people. The house was great and we were greeted with a plate of homemade cookies! There were only a couple other people at the lake where we were swimming and we were the only people at the restaurant we ate it. I would say the trip was a success!

Beautiful and Relaxing

Our stay at the Birchett's lake property was wonderful! The house is incredibly comfortable, clean, warm, and welcoming. It is also located in close proximity to several of the marinas. We rented our boat from Pine Cove Marina and had a great experience. We will likely try to rent this home again the next time we visit Tenkiller. The fresh chocolate chip cookies upon our arrival were also a big hit - even with the adult kiddoes. Thanks!

I brought a group on friends and students for a weekend of diving at Tenkiller lake. This home was exactly what we needed. Our host even baked us cookies! The patio was great! There were storms during our stay but we were still able to have our outdoor cookout on the huge balcony patio, where most of us spent our time. The home was clean and furnished with everything one might need. The hosts were helpful and noninvasive. I highly recommend this property for families and small groups. Thank you!

It was absolutely perfect!!!!!

We were greeted with a plate of fresh baked cookies with a cover that said Welcome. It was a perfect way to begin our visit. We were there for a family reunion and the home was great for entertaining family before and after the reunion. The decor was very well done and the covered deck made entertaining so easy. Great house!

We loved our time at the house. The location is beautiful. Our kids loved playing on the yard in the front and finding sticks in the woods. The fire pit area is a great place to hang out. We also liked how there were tables and chairs on every porch. It was the perfect place to play games at night. There are very steep narrow stairs that aren't great for young kids. The boards on the railing on the deck upstairs are also very far apart. It would be very easy for a child to accidentally fall. Other than that the house is an awesome vacation place! The house would be perfect for families with elementary-aged or older kids.

Living in Oklahoma City and coming to Lake Tenkiller on weekends, my husband and I always wanted to stay at the lake until we wanted to leave--not had to leave to go back to work. We moved to our lake home in 2003 and enjoy boating, fishing, walking, and all of the scenery and entertainment the lake area has to offer. We are now a semi-retired couple who recently fulfilled our dream of completely renovating a house--it just so happens to be next door to our primary residence.

We purchased this particular property because it is located next door to our home and we wanted to restore it to its former beauty. It turned out even better than we expected! We are anxious to share it with visitors and hope they enjoy the area as much as we do.

The property is located on a dead-end gravel road. Wooded lots separate all four houses on the street so there is privacy and solitude, yet residents and visitors are not so secluded as to feel isolated and insecure.
