We were visiting to attend seafood festival. This condo was very clean and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony and had a great view. The walk down to the beach was very easy and loved the sitting area around flag poll. We loved this condo and would love to stay here again.

Had everything we needed but needs a little updating in bathrooms and some other areas as bedroom carpets. Condo has been "well loved". We loved Amos Mosquito, Roma Pizza,Ruddy Duck ,Crab Cafe in Salter Path. Acquarium and Bogue pier , Beaufort , and lots of beach time!

The reservation and check in processes were easy, smooth and COVID friendly. The condo was nice inside and the balcony was awesome. The views of the beach and ocean were amazing! With the new furniture on the balcony combined with the wide views, we spent a great deal of time outside on the balcony when we weren't walking or sitting out on the beach. Highly recommend.

Although the building seems to be on the older side, the condo is beautiful and appears to be recently updated! Everything was comfortable (especially the tall chairs on the porch overlooking the ocean). We came at the beginning of May, 2024, so very few people around. There was a group that stayed on Saturday night (next floor up and to the left) and their stereo bass was a bit annoying for a while, but not the fault of the condo. The walkway to the beach is being rebuilt with Trex and will be beautiful. We'd definitely rent this place again.

Very nice interior, wonderful views from the balcony, comfortable furniture and bed, nice kitchen. Patio doors open and listening to the ocean! We were there during Covid restrictions which meant spending a lot of time by ourselves at the beach, which was OK for celebrating our 40th anniversary! Local restaurants were great. As mentioned, we were here during 2020 Covid restrictions, and the week after Labor Day, so it wasn't crowded and felt secluded, but only a couple miles from anything we needed. Will definitely consider staying here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cannon & Gruber came through for us with this property in a big way after our VRBO property had serious issues at checkin. It was a great fit for us and the location was outstanding. Beachfront; exactly what we were looking for. The building has been around for a while and looked a bit tired, but several units were going through upgrades. This unit was most of the way through an upgrade with new flooring throughout except for the two guest rooms and guest bathrooms. Cleaning throughout was acceptable; could’ve been a little better. Cannon & Gruber was very responsive to our immediate cleaning needs. The kitchen utensils, pots and pans need to be inventoried and replaced as necessary. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this unit again.

Perfect Beach Location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked this condo at the very last minute when other beach plans we had fell through. The condo was exactly what was advertised online and was perfect for our vacation. Upon arrival, we realized that the A/C was not working correctly (not cooling at all), so I tried calling the office and the 1-800 number numerous times but it just gave me a busy signal as it was after 5pm. I realized that there was a realtor name and number on a small business card on the fridge, so I called her on a whim. She responded quickly and texted me within 30 minutes saying that a repair man would be out the next morning. He showed up right on time and though it took a while to figure out the issue, he did a great job! I really appreciated both of their hard work! Note: I could never find an "after hours" phone number on any documentation or my app. Maybe I missed it? It would be great if there is indeed a number to call though in the event that something more serious were to happen. Overall, it was a great trip and we would definitely stay here again!

Superb oceanfront condo in great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cannon and Gruber were outstanding property managers. When we arrived at the condo, there were no linens to be found. I called after 5 PM on their emergency service number, and someone got back to me within 10 minutes. They called the linen service, and while we were having dinner, the linens were delivered. And to our surprise, Cannon and Gruber issued a partial refund for the cost of the linen rental for the week.The condo is located near the center of the building and on the second floor. Two short flights of steps lead to the condo entrance, the second door to the right of the stairs.Sliding glass doors in the living area and in the primary bedroom lead onto the long, open deck that overlooks the ocean. The view could not be better. Distance to the beach is about 40 yards.The condo is beautifully decorated and everything worked well. However, the printed directions for WiFi connection were incorrect. A call to Cannon and Gruber fixed that issue quickly.Bogue Shores Condos are located at milepost 7 1/2 just past the NC Aquarium entrance at a stoplight. Driving to Emerald Isle or Morehead City is about the same distance from the condo.Parking underneath the units is reserved from owners. However, it was windy and rainy when we packed our car to leave, and we were able to back the car up next to the stairs and under an overhanging porch to allow packing in a protected position from wind and rain.We will visit this condo again in coming years. Very quiet with nice beach that was not crowded during Spring Break.

Another lovely week in PKS

Literally steps from a clean, uncrowded beach. The pool is quite nice as well. For our family, it is also nice that we have 3 full bathrooms. The location is just right, in between Atlantic Beach and Salter Path. We always take the ferry out to Cape Lookout, too.

Reviewer Comments: We were looking forward to getting away together since we had not seen each other since the beginning of the covid ****. We have rented this place before and enjoyed it. We had a good time this year, but there were some things that were a little bothersome. The remodeling that was done looked great. Really opened up the place. There was an issue with one of the electrical outlets leaking water. When maintenance came in to determine if it was an HOA issue or a rental issue he wasn't wearing a mask. I was ok with that, but some of my family members were not. We also had an exterminator come while we were there. I wasn't going to let them spray since we had small children in there. I feel like those are the kinds of things that need to be done when no one is renting the place, or during the time from when one guest leaves and the next guest comes in. I guess I should have let them spray though b/c I had a roach fall on my face while I was sleeping one night. We did have a great time, as always. Just some things that maybe could have been handled differently.

Great location

Don’t read old reviews. Kitchen and baths all remodeled. Great location. Right on beach and overlooks the pool. Even though one of the two elevators were being serviced, it wasn’t a big deal as you are on the 2nd floor with only two sets of stairs to get to the unit. We did use the elevator (and available baggage carts) to unload and load but otherwise used the stairs. Parking was not an issue. 10 min from grocery stores and restaurants. Nothing to do but enjoy the beach, pool, and your family. Great vacation spot.

Great experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We went with something different this year. We usually rent a house in AB. We loved the location of this property, the condo was spacious, clean. Management was very helpful with any questions and requests we had. We are hoping to rent here again next year, once we can decide on dates.

Waste of money!

I must first begin by saying that Vickie with Cannon & Gruber is the bomb. We arrived on June 15(my son's birthday) to what we thought was going to be a wonderful condo. It was not. It very dirty, dusty and nasty. The bedding is old, outdated and broken. Dirty linens were thrown on the floor in the closet, urine on the toilet seat, pasta stains on the floor, food stuck to the floor, ants and the dinner table was sticky and gross. The pantry was gross and the entire unit needs a thorough clean out. The curtain also fell out of the wall when we tried opening the curtains in the master bedroom. We took pictures and sent to the property manager(Vickie) who thankfully was able to move us to another condo. It was very clear to us the owner has severely neglected this unit and it's only purpose is to collect money.

Thank you so much ! Bogue Shore 205 has been updated with a newly remodeled kitchen , bathroom and linens . We have a lot of repeat guest for this property as well . We look forward to working with you on your next trip .
