Dieses charmante Ferienhaus befindet sich in einem großen privaten Garten in ländlicher Umgebung und ist somit absolut sicher für kleine Kinder und Hunde.

Sie können nicht nur im schönen Garten entspannen, sondern auch von der Haustür aus spazieren, wandern, Rad fahren, Golf spielen und Fußball spielen.
Im Garten befindet sich ein Nebengebäude, in dem Sie Tischtennis spielen und entspannen können. Unser verstecktes Juwel befindet sich in Zentralschottland. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth, Dundee, Dunfermline und Stirling sind alle innerhalb von 45 Minuten, St. Andrews 1 Stunde, Gleneagles 20 Minuten, The Trossachs 1 ½ Stunden. Es gibt eine Fülle von Wander- und Spazierwegen, viele Orte zum Radfahren, endlose Golfplätze, schöne Seen und Flüsse zum Angeln, zahlreiche Schlösser und Gärten zum Besuchen, großartige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Kinos, Theater und natürlich zum Entspannen.

Innerhalb des Chalets gibt es 4 Schlafzimmer, bestehend aus zwei Doppelzimmern und zwei Einzelzimmern; eine offene Wohnküche mit französischen Fenstern in den nach Südwesten ausgerichteten Garten; ein Duschraum; ein Badezimmer; eine Waschküche und eine Veranda, die groß genug ist, um nasse Kleidung, Gummistiefel, Hunde usw. zu hinterlassen.

Das offene Wohnzimmer verfügt über einen Holzofen, Fernseher, WLAN, Sitzgelegenheiten und Essgelegenheiten für bis zu 8 Personen. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet mit Geschirrspüler, Smeg Kühlschrank und Doppelbackofen. Der Hauswirtschaftsraum verfügt über eine Waschmaschine.

Der Garten verfügt über eine Terrasse mit Gartenmöbeln - ideal zum Entspannen und Genießen der herrlichen Landschaft und Tierwelt. Das Spielfeld durch ein Tor ist ideal für Spiele im Freien.

Beautiful location, peaceful and loads of wildlife, including Red Squirrels. Very well appointed and extremely comfortable. We were six people yet had plenary of space. Will definitely recommend and would certainly stay again. Only thing I’d say is the front door lock needs replacing as it was rather fiddly and temperamental, however this did not detract from our enjoyable of the place.

Good experience

We were six adults and the facilities were perfect for this number. The whole process before, during and after was excellent and edasy contact to the owner. The surroundings are very nice and in the middle of nature with various kinds of wildlife to be seen in the area. We had a very nice time and enjoyed everytning.

Wonderful vacation home in Rumbling Bridge!

We started our Scotland-Trip with a 4-night stay in this lovely accommodation. A welcome-cake, a lot if animals in the garden, table tennis (!) and a excellente very nice flat to explore Edinburgh, Glasgow and the west coast. Thank you Joanna!

We went for 4 nights ,with my husband and daughter and granddaughter and our very large dog . Our host jo gave us directions,to which we're very accurate, jo met us there to show us around ,and she was lovely and made us feel very welcome ,the chalet was everything you would want for a relaxing break ,beds so comfy and all utensils u will need ,lovely and quite and the views are great,sat and watched the red deer this morning Thanks again jo

Wonderful accomodation in wonderful surrounding

If you are looking for a property in a peaceful surrounding in nature in the Lowlands, this is a very good place to stay. We, a family of 3 adult people, enjoyed our stay in Rumbling Bridge very much. The chalet had everything what is needed for a comfortable accomodation. The chalet, the terrace, the garden and our neighbours (great spotted woodpecker, great tit, jay, pheasants, hares, deer) were quite nice, and we spent some very relaxing holidays. Rumbling Bridge was a good starting point for visits of Edinburgh (1 hour car drive), Loch Leven (15 min car drive), Loch Lomond (1 to 1.5 car drive). We can highly recommend this accomodation.

Lovely House

This is a lovely house in a stunning location. There are red squirrels, pheasants and the occasional red deer in the garden, which pleased the kids! Lots to do within an hour of the house, so it is an ideal base for both Fife and Perthshire. The house is fully equipped and very comfortable. The owner has thought of everything. Communication was good. It is very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely cottage for relaxing family holiday

The cottage is very well equipped and decorated with great taste, very spacious and comfortable. Our kids also much appreciated the table tennis. The cottage is situated in a lovely quiet countryside and offers nice walks directly from the doorstep, but is also situated perfectly for day trips to Edinburgh, Dundee, Stirling, golfing in Perthshire or rafting on the river Tay. The bird feeder in the beautiful garden attracts numerous birds, pheasants and red squirrels all day, which is a pleasant sight. Joanna is a great host, very responsive, and we greatly appreciated the cake offered as a welcome gift. Thank you very much Joanna for the great stay!

Beautiful house and grounds!

We had such a lovely stay at this house. The house was very tastefully decorated, had comfortable beds, and had nice showers. It was a great place to come back to after a day of exploring Scotland. The owner was very friendly and answered all our questions promptly; she even had a delicious cake and wine waiting for us when we arrived! The grounds of this house were amazing. Such a relaxing view for our breakfast and dinner meals. It is situation close to some sheep and cow pastures and we had a nice little walk along the road that leads to the house. We even saw some deer one morning. The kids loved all the birds that visited the bird feeders. I would definitely recommend this house!

A beautiful slower pace of life

We had a fantastic time as a family of 5 in Rumbling Bridge. The accommodation was really clean and lots of lovely attention to detail has gone into it. The kitchen had everything possible you needed, my 10 year old baked 2 cakes whilst we were there it was that well equipped. Jo was on hand to answer any questions we had. The beds are super comfy. The actual surroundings are magical we had deer, pheasants and red squirrels visit us regularly. We had no issue with the hot water as we spaced the showers and plenty for 2 adults to shower in the morning and 3 kids in the evening. We will definitely be rebooking next year.

Base for Solheim Cup at Gleneagles

We were a group of four ladies, friends for many years looking for a peaceful spot to base ourselves for visiting the golf. We found it. The house was a beautiful oasis of calm after days spent in the company of 100,000 others up at Gleneagles. Perfect to cater for ourselves & also provided a great sociable space just to relax & catch up in the evenings. Whole home was very comfortable. Two of us travelled up a couple of days early to do some walking & the Cairngorms are only 1.5 hours away. Jo was super to deal with & very accommodating when we asked to begin our stay a few days earlier than we had originally booked. She also bakes a spectacular cake which was lovely welcoming touch.

Spacious house in beautiful area

This was the best holiday home we’ve ever been! Very spacious and nicely decorated inside. Equipped with everything you need. Outside a beautiful garden with pheasants, squirrels etc and the best for our 3 teenagers ..a large football field. Our stay of 4 nights was much too short. We’ll certainly come back!

Peaceful Getaway

We had a fantastic time at this property. The chalet was spotless and had everything we needed. The garden and outside area is great. It was lovely watching the red squirrels at the bird feeder. The chalet is in a very peaceful location which was what we were after. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a quiet getaway. Jo was only a text away if we needed anything. Amazing property, wonderful wildlife, deers, pheasants, woodpeckers, blue jay hares, places to visit within easy reach Falkirk wheel, Japanese garden and Edinburgh zoo. The owner jo was just a text away if we had any problems and left us a lovely cake when we arrived amazing experience would highly recommend

Most relaxing holiday we've had in years.

We came up and had the best time. Roasting marshmallows by the fire outside, incredibly comfy beds and clean as a whistle. Ping pong table definitely brought out the competitive side of us and will definitely returning soon. Any questions we had Jo was amazing and helpful.

We built this chalet in 2008 as an escape for weekends and holidays from our busy lives in the city.

The house is warm, cosy, secluded and safe. It is set in a spacious garden with plenty of space to kick a ball, play rounders and chill on the patio. We have a table tennis room.
