Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und ist voll von Scottish Stoffe, original schottischen Gemälden und Zeichnungen, warme Farben und jede Menge Persönlichkeit verpackt. Es ist eine großartige Ausgangsbasis, um Edinburgh zu Fuß zu erkunden, und wenn Sie aus einem großen Tag Shopping oder Sightseeing getragen sind gibt es eine fabelhafte Küche in der Wohnung und ein Holzofen für eine gemütliche Nacht. Für die mehr Energie nur Dump die Einkaufstaschen, nutzen Sie die "froh Lumpen" auf und gehen Sie ein paar hundert Meter, um einige der besten Bars und Restaurants, die Edinburgh zu bieten hat. Nach ein paar Nächte hier, du bist fast garantiert Scottish zu fühlen, und Sie werden sicherlich nicht verlassen wollen!
Sie geben die traditionellen "gemeinsamen Treppen 'am Fahrbahnebene und machen Sie Ihren Weg nach oben die ursprünglichen, steinernen Stufen zur Wohnungstür im 2. Stock (oben). Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer; eine sehr große und eine große. Beide Räume können entweder als Einzelbetten oder ein Doppelbett (Kingsize und Kingsize) eingestellt werden. Die Betten sind von Natur aus "Luxushotel" Standard. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über einen schönen Schminktisch mit einem beleuchteten Schminkspiegel für die Damen.
Es gibt eine sehr gut ausgestattete große Wohnküche mit Backofen, Herd, Mikrowelle und alles, was Sie kochen Sie brauchen! Es enthält auch eine Geschirrspülmaschine, Waschmaschine und digitale Radio.
Die Lounge ist sehr schön eingerichtet und verfügt über einen Holzofen und Originalkamin. Es gibt WLAN, digitales Kabel-TV und eine Bluetooth-Lautsprecher für Ihre Unterhaltung und der Seitenplatte ist für eine lebhafte Nacht in voller Spaß Gesellschaftsspiele vollgestopft! Es gibt auch ein Schlafsofa in der Lounge für größere Gruppen.
Das Badezimmer ist eine warme und einladende Zimmer mit seinem großen Wanne, große traditionelle Duschkopf, Steinfliesen, warme Farben und die alle Fußbodenheizung wichtig!

Einfach perfekt!

Die Lage ist perfekt, die Wohnung wunderschön, der Gastgeber supernett, antwortet schnell und hilft sofort! Maciej was a very pleasant and helpful host. Unfortunately the property shows a lot of neglected maintenance. The biggest problems were the broken washing machine and master bed. While these may have been just before we arrived, there were a lot of other less important issues. The fridge door didn't seal properly and the freezer door was broken, The bathroom fan didn't work and there was mould in the corners of the bathroom. There was an open drain in the bathroom sink. Cracked glass in the bedroom window, kitchen clock not running. Mostly small things that would not be surprising in a 3 or 4 star property but not in a 5 star one.

The apartment was the perfect location for us, we needed to be in this area of the West End for our 3 night stay. I would normally look for a less expensive rental but the location persuaded us to go for something special. Which in many ways the apartment certainly is! First impressions were excellent, beautiful decor and furnishings, spotlessly clean, wonderful artwork and clearly the host has a talent for interior design. There were a couple of minor practical problems which I'm sure will be rectified for the next guests - the host is attentive to messages. We did find the temperature in the rooms quite cold at times, which I gather from Maciej has never before been an issue in the 10 years the apartment has been available as a holiday rental. It would have been useful to have been able to check the temperature was indeed maintained at 21 which Maciej assured us it was but he responded to my messages asking him to increase the heating at times, which he did, remotely. Certainly, the apartment is very beautiful and comfortable and because the location is so good, the other little things didn't worry us unduly, bathroom tap difficult to turn off, loose toilet seat, handle broken in the freezer section of the fridge, all of which I feel sure will be fixed. A lovely place to stay, for us I'm sure would be absolutely perfect in the warmer months! Thank you, Maciej!

Fantastic Stay in the Heart of Edinburgh!We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful VRBO! The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to all of Edinburgh’s major attractions, shops, and restaurants. The hosts, Maciej and Anna, were incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating throughout our visit. They made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The property itself was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing stay. We would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Edinburgh. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful flat in a great location. Close to central Edinburgh shopping areas and more importantly for us the EICC. The host was really friendly and accomodating. The apartment is well equipped and even a selection of provisions were waiting for us. We felt really at home. We would happily stay here again. We highly recommend it.

The apartment was very nice and cozy. My two daughters and I loved the location. Near everything, even a couple of pubs and restaurants on our street. The amenities, milk bread and butter were especially nice and I must add the lovely fresh flowers on the table. One thing though the apartment is on the top floor and there are 4 sets of stairs to climb with luggage. Just be careful. We made it fine and I’m a very fit 79 year old women. Would definitely stay here again. And our host was available for any concerns we had.

This appt was absolutely great. Excellent location. Clean , equipped with all y need and more. Property manager Maciek and his wife Ania excellent/ helpful / gave us info where to go and eat , they let us in earlier to leave our bags . It was 5 of us we all had our bedrooms with privacy. Clean comfortable bedding , welcome gift / butter bread milk / . Heated floor in the bathroom only issues lack of hot water on our last day but we notified management right away. Please book this appt for larger group you will not regret it. 3 pubs on the ground floor location excellent. Airlink bus stops 5 min away. Nice street. Very easy to navigate. ,,, 2 sets of keys so u don’t have to worry for your party if they want to come home earlier. Once again thank you for such a great time and place. Maciek and Ania you guys were awesome. 1000% recommend this place

Love the location of this property. We went to Teuchters across the street for beer, Cullen skink, and sticky toffee pudding and to Fox & Co Catering next door for delicious coffee and a full Scottish breakfast. Walkable to Dean Village and along the Water of Leith walkway to Stockbridge, as well as to the castle and the Royal Mile. There are also several bus stops nearby. Not far from a Tesco Express to stock up the small fridge, but we were provided with milk, butter, bread, and apples when we arrived. There were a few espresso pods as well, so we were able to have a quick coffee and bite to eat in the morning. The bedrooms are large and my son didn't complain about sleeping on the pull out sofa (maybe because he actually got his own room for once!) so it must not have been too uncomfortable. The shower is nice, but the bathroom does seem to have some moisture issues. Some of the stairs in the entryway have been worn down over time and require careful navigation. Overall, we really enjoyed staying here!

We were blown away by this rental. The space was exceptionally clean and equipped with everything we needed for our time in Scotland. It was centrally located and easy to get around the town. We loved the overall layout of the home. It was so nice for our family to be able to spread out after long days. I appreciated the welcoming gifts of bread, apples and chocolate. And, as silly as it may sound, it was nice to be able to keep up with laundry while on vacation. We purchased some towels locally, but if you do use a face towel to clean your skin at night, plan to bring some with you. Thank you for opening your lively snug up to us!

Great apartment for 4 adults!

Very nice stay overall with plenty of room for our group of four adults. It does sit overtop of a bar/restaurant and across the street from a (very good) pub. In early May, the noise wasn't too bad but there were some late night noises to go along with some early morning traffic noise. As it gets toward summer and busy season, we could see that being more noisy. It is hard to sleep too late though since the sun rises so early. It is an easy walk to get to the center of things but can be quite a walk to get to an area like Holyrood and Arthur's Seat. Sometimes we walked, once we took a cab to save time. Kitchen has everything you need although we didn't cook much besides toast as we were out and about pretty early each day.Maciej (host) was great! Extremely nice and polite and very communicative. He proivded a welcome basket too. We had a smoke alarm chirp one morning. I let him know I took it down and he came to replace the battery mid morning. You will need to keep in mind that there is a single bathroom with tub/shower which can sometimes get tricky on timing in the mornings. Water pressure was great though. One of the things we all noticed was how great the water was not just here but all over Scotland. We're used to hard water but this water is nothing like that and it just tastes better. Seems weird to comment on but we all noticed it. It was very warm so recommend having varued options for bedding (thin options vs. a single winter-grade blanket.) Great stay overall

This apartment was ideal for our family, having all we needed and is located close to the centre of Edinburgh. The host was proactive with communication and was very helpful in making arrangements ahead of our arrival. The check-in arrangements worked well and were straightforward. I've been involved with property in Edinburgh for 12 years and have always loved Georgian and Victorian architecture with all it's grandeur! I have renovated and upgraded many original Edinburgh properties but the 'Snug' is my first Holiday Apartment and I absolutely love it. I live a short walk down the hill from the apartment in an old townhouse in Stockbridge with my wife Rebecca and our 2 little boys. If I ever need a quiet sit down I sneak off to the Snug and hide!! My father in law is a famous Irish poet (Michael Longley) and my sister in law is a well known Scottish/Irish painter and most of the books are Michael's collections and the art on the walls are Sarah Longley originals or sketch work from her bigger collections. Also, if you'd like a kilt made whilst you're here - my brother in law is a kilt maker!!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

The West End of Edinburgh is a hidden gem of a place, full of boutique shops, delis, coffee shops, proper pubs and restaurants and it just so happens to be less than 5 minutes walk from Princes' Street. It's such a great location that as soon as I saw the apartment I knew it had to be shared! Doing interiors is one of my passions and I was able to cut loose on the William Street Snug with Georgian colour schemes and gorgeous Scottish tartans and tweed textiles and original Georgian walls are ideal for hanging great art!
