Das Bear Paw Studio Retreat befindet sich in einem wunderschön abgelegenen, 20 Hektar großen privaten Wald. Nur 2 km trennen Sie von Soldotna mit einer Reihe von CafĂ©s, LebensmittelgeschĂ€ften, SpezialitĂ€tengeschĂ€ften und Restaurants. Bear Paw befindet sich in der unteren Etage unseres Hauses und verfĂŒgt ĂŒber einen eigenen Eingang, ausgewiesene ParkplĂ€tze und zahlreiche ParkplĂ€tze fĂŒr Mieter oder zusĂ€tzliche Fahrzeuge. Das Bear Paw Studio verfĂŒgt ĂŒber Kingsize- und Queensize-Betten im Schlafbereich und bietet bequem Platz fĂŒr zwei bis vier GĂ€ste. Bear Paw Studio ist ein kĂŒrzlich fertig gestellter Zuwachs in unserem Zuhause, es ist also neu mit modernen KĂŒchengerĂ€ten und hĂŒbschem alaskischem Dekor. Komplett mit einem sehr großen BĂ€renfell, das eine ganze Wand bedeckt! Verdunkelte Fensterabdeckungen sorgen in unseren hellen Sommermonaten fĂŒr ausreichend Dunkelheit, sodass unsere GĂ€ste gut schlafen können. Es gibt einen großen Gefrierschrank ausschließlich fĂŒr die GĂ€ste, der besonders wĂ€hrend der Angelsaison nĂŒtzlich ist. Das Reinigen von Fischen ist jedoch auf dem GelĂ€nde verboten, da möglicherweise BĂ€ren angezogen werden. WĂ€hrend der Sommermonate ist Bear Paw ein perfekter RĂŒckzugsort fĂŒr Angler. Im Winter, wenn es reichlich Schnee gibt, unterhalten wir mehrere Langlaufloipen und haben einen fantastischen Rodelhang fĂŒr diejenigen, die ein SchneevergnĂŒgen wĂŒnschen. BĂ€rentatze hat fĂŒr jeden etwas, der nach Kenai oder Soldotna reist.

I was in town for work and this place was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet after my shift. Even working nights and sleeping during the day, i was not bothered at all. Place has everything you need except groceries. The host is super friendly and takes very good care of you.

Excellent Stay

Very good location: quiet and out of the way yet minutes from town. Host is extremely easy to communicate with. Check in and out process was very smooth. Accommodations are great with a very nice kitchenand comfy beds. Would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable and spacious

Jackie and Jason were great hosts and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The studio was very comfortable and spacious for our family of four. So quiet and cozy it, providied us with our best rest during our trip to Alaska. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Alaska.

Wonderful Place to Stay

The studio was easy to find and located in a secluded area just outside of Soldotna. We were close enough to town for supplies but was also able to enjoy the quietness of the woods. The studio was new, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Jackie was gracious and generous. We hope to stay here again and recommend it to others.

Great Place to Stay

Jackie and Jayson went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a wonderful experience. We were contacted prior to our arrival to see if there was anything we needed in particular that they could provide for us, which was extremely thoughtful. The property was very clean and well laid out and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Jackie and Jayson made the stay so nice with their hospitality and were very welcoming. Such a lovely place

This property is an efficiency apartment on the ground floor of a lovely home. The owners are right upstairs and completely available to answer questions and assist with problems. In addition to the apartment, there are 29 acres of property, and I loved wandering around in the quiet and beauty. I would go there again anytime. Love. Love. Love!!

We are very new to VRBO, but I made a fantastic choice when I chose Jackie's lovely studio. She sent me directions and we ended up texting and finding out about each other. I felt like she was a friend from the beginning and she went above and beyond to make our stay as wonderful as possible. She got us flowers because we were celebrating our anniversary as well as a bottle of wine and local treats. I am obsessed with moose and she made sure that I tried all the places possible to see them and boy did we. The best one was close to where she lived. We got some of the most fantastic photos of this huge Mama moose that we later found out had a baby. Everything in our room was so very comfortable. We had access to a grill to cook some fantastic fish that Jackie shared with us. I highly recommend anyone staying at any property that Jackie hosts. Jackie and her husband went above and beyond for us and we are very grateful because this was a very special trip for us.

Cozy and welcoming rental

I drove down from Eagle River with my two kids for a football game and was so happy to find this place. It is conveniently located near town but is in an area that is quiet and secluded. While we were not there for fishing, there were things on site to accommodate that need. I really enjoyed all the personal touches in the studio and the owner was so helpful with directions around town and was very accommodating with our need for a later check out. I have already recommended this place to friends who often go to this area for fishing. If we ever have a need to stay the night in Soldotna again, this will be the first place I check!

Jackie and Jason were wonderful hosts. We felt more like houseguests than tenants! Wonderful place!

The kitchen had everything we needed. We used the stove, oven, grill, washer and dryer. Jackie even had laundry soap and dryer sheets. They gave us advise on fishing locations, restaurants and even numbers to call to get fish counts. We caught fish and her son packaged it for us for a nominal fee. His name was Anderson and he did a better job packaging it than professionals. The property is a bit off the beaten track and was quiet as a result. It is just a few minutes from Town. I would highly recommend staying in the apartment. Thanks Jackie. I hope we get a chance to stay again!

We are Jayson and Jackie Kempf, the property owners. We were both born and raised on the Kenai Peninsula and grew up enjoying the many outdoor activities "Alaska's Playground" has to offer. We spend our summers boating on the ocean and fishing the Kenai and having total blast filling our freezer with our winter supply of Sockeye salmon. We enjoy camping around the state of Alaska during our fair weather months and traveling to warm and tropical destinations during our cold months when time allows!
