We had a wonderful stay! The place was beautiful, spacious, and in an excellent location. The host was fantastic and communicated quickly and clearly.. The rooftop deck was a highlight, offering beautiful views and a great space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. There was also plenty of room for our group of 9, which made the stay very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Lydia’s place is exactly as shown in the pictures. Beautiful with so much character. The space was comfortable, with three large living areas. The apartment is very convenient to restaurants and shopping. We appreciated having a washer and dryer. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The antique furnishings would probably not be appropriate for young children. We recommend this apartment. Communication with Lydia and Roberto were friendly and quick. Thank you!

Excellent location. We met the owner who was absolutely lovely and welcoming. The apartment caretaker was very helpful in getting some extra things organized logistically for our trip. We had a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend.

I usually don’t leave a review, but our stay here was great and I wanted to leave some positive feedback to help others who are looking for a place to stay in Venice. My favorite thing about this apartment was the terrace. It was fantastic! We really enjoyed evenings on the terrace overlooking the Canal and drinking wine. The unit is very spacious with tons of charm. It is in a great location. It is a short walk to just about everything you might want to do. There is also a water bus stop very close to the unit that you can use if you want to go to Burano or Murano, which I recommend. The communication with Lydia and Roberto was great. All the instructions were clear and they were very helpful. Lydia had a binder with recommendations for shopping, Grocery, and dinning options near the apartment. Roberto was great to work with and the check in process was very smooth. Again, we had a great trip with our family and friends and would love to stay there again if we ever return to Venice.

Roberto was a great host. The apartment was at a great location. The water taxi dropped us off right in front of the apartment. The rooftop terrace was a great way to end a day full of activities.

This property is beautiful and in a perfect location to walk to everything. We had a large group of family and friends that enjoyed the spacious rooms. Two of the three bathrooms have no shower option and the hot water was scarce in all of the bathrooms but we were able to make it work with quick bathing. The views from the large windows and upper patio deck are awesome!

Apartment was in a great location in Venice. Apartment was extremely clean and extremely nice. We felt very safe in the building and the apartment at all times. Check in was very easy and quick. Loved the views from the inside through the windows, and even more for the rooftop terrace.

Everything about this stay was perfect. We only wished that we had planned to stay longer. The amenities for laundry were very helpful. Staying here made us feel like we were REALLY in Venice and it allowed 8 of us to not feel on top of one another.

Lydia and Roberto were excellent! Roberto met us before checkin and allowed us to put our bags in the apartment while it was being cleaned. The space was more than enough for our group of 8. We were there during a heat wave and the A/C worked perfectly. The location couldn’t be better whether you are using a public or private water taxi. All the main sites are within easy walking distance. Our favorite part was just wondering the side streets and exploring. Highly recommend a stay with Lydia!

This property had everything that we wanted in a Vrbo! It was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate four adults and four children. We visited Venice during the summer so it was very hot! Thankfully, Lydia gave us access to a washer and dryer so we could clean our travel clothes. The air-conditioning kept us comfortable at night. Lydia was also very communicative. Lydia’s boat captain, Roberto, is a local Venetian who gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants close to the property. This property also has an incredible terrace, providing an amazing venue for you to enjoy a morning coffee or read a book. Highly recommend the Grand Canal Terrace!

The location of the unique Vrbo palace was perfect. Centrally located to the Grand Canal with a larger stop. The proximity to all major destination and even a 3 min walk to a local market. All viewed from an amazing terrace which is a bit rarer than you'd think in the area.The house itself was in great shape given its age and you can feel the history in the bones with yet modern conveniences. Highly recommend this location and Lydia's team was soooo incredibly helpful and accommodating.

We had a wonderful time. Party of 6 slept very well and enjoyed the apartment and its location in Venice. Views were gorgeous, could watch the sunrise everyday on the roof deck enjoying coffee and it was very close to the water taxi stop. We will be back! Thank you

The beauty of Venice captured in a villa

Beautiful ancient villa . Steps away from the boat stop-away from the tourists but still close enough to everything. Views of the canal and room for the entire family to stretch out. Wonderful !
