Das Wern Cottage liegt in der Nähe von Conwy am Rande des Snowdonia-Gebirges. Es liegt auch in der Nähe der Nordwales Küste und der wunderschönen Insel Anglesey, 'Ynys Môn'. Es liegt im Dorf Capelulo ... wo die Berge auf das Meer treffen.

Die Hütte

Wern wurde kürzlich neu dekoriert und ist zu einem sehr hohen Standard eingerichtet. Es wurde erneut von Visit Wales - dem Welsh Tourist Board - mit fünf Sternen ausgezeichnet und mit dem TripAdvisor-Zertifikat für Exzellenz 2018 ausgezeichnet.

Ausgestattet mit einem Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, Dusche und Waschbecken, einem Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten, einem modernen Badezimmer, einem voll ausgestatteten Ess- / Küchenbereich im Landhausstil mit Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine / Trockner und einem Holzofen. Die komfortable Lounge verfügt über zwei Sofas und einen digitalen DVB-T-Fernseher (BT Vision) sowie eine Xbox 360. Gleich neben der Lounge befindet sich ein kleiner Wintergarten mit Blick auf die Küste und die umliegenden Hügel, ein idealer Ort, um zu frühstücken und sich zu entspannen.

(Bitte beachten Sie: Es gibt nur eine Toilette in der Unterkunft im Hauptbad im ersten Stock. Das Bad zum Hauptschlafzimmer ist nur eine Dusche und ein Waschbecken.

Es gibt eine moderne Gaszentralheizung im ganzen Haus, die einfach über einen British Gas Hive Thermostat geregelt werden kann.

Beautiful cottage with views in a great location. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including the basics that aren’t always provided on such trips i.e. washing up liquid, tea towels and all kitchen utensils you could need. Milk and delicious Welsh cakes for our arrival was also a nice touch. Comms with host was also great. Would 100% recommend for short or longer breaks and would love to stay again in the future!

A beautiful cottage in a stunning location at the foot of Snowdonia National Park. Within 15 minutes you can be at the nearest beach or setting off on hikes in the mountains — the best of both worlds! Even a day trip to Liverpool is easy. We loved our stay and would happily come back.

Perfect cottage in a great location

Fabulous stay

Great second stay

This is a great property for touring the North Wales area. Very comfortable cottage with all the amenities you might need to give that home from home feel. Fabulous place to stay

We fell I love with this cottage when we walked through the door . It’s was clean and well equipped with everything you would need. A wonderful peaceful setting with the hills around you. Lots to do in the surrounding area and a great village pub just down the road from the cottage. Exceptional stay!

We had the most amazing stay! The property was so cosy and a real home from home. Little touches like chocolates, fresh flowers in the rooms and milk in the fridge were much appreciated! The location could not have been more perfect. Spectacular walks, views, beach and pub all from the cottage. And so much more to explore in surrounding area too. Just perfect!! 10/10!!

Cozy cottage

Super clean cozy cottage. Nice outdoor garden. Just down the street is a pub with friendly staff and good food (super accommodating for gluten and dairy allergies). Nice location for visiting sites. Also good walking paths, took one that led to an old cemetery.

Adorable Cottage

This cottage has everything! Plus it’s tucked on a hillside with rushing brook nearby. Very relaxing and well equipped. Very near many of the great sights and places to see in northwest Wales. The Italian restaurant 5 mins away as wonderful food and excellent service.

Home from Home. Cottage

We had an excellent stay at Wern Cottage, so cosy and very well equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay. The owners Jane and Lawrence kept us informed as to how to find the property as well as delivering on thoughtful personal touches to make our stay special. The cottage was just as we expected and in a great position for seeing the sights of Conwy and surrounding towns. Would definitely stay there again.

We arrived on our first day and found carpet bugs in the two bedrooms, they were all over the windows and on the beds in the spare room, they were on the windows in the main bedroom. I tried to hoover them up but no sooner had I hoovered them they were back, this led me to have a look around the house a little harder and seen traces of them downstairs also. Behind the sofas were full of cobwebs so they had not been pulled out and cleaned properly for a while is my guess.The hosts did answer the phone when we arrived 7pm and were good in communication, but we were not willing to stay with carpet bugs in the house. We did receive a fast and full refund.Hopefully the cleaning team is going to be changed as they didn’t seem to do a good job. It was a long journey back home to Cumbria at 8pm.Hopefully they get the issue sorted as it looked a lovley place to stay, just needs a good clean and to get rid of the carpet bugs.

Hi Mark, we were so sorry about the negative experience you had at the cottage. We have never come across this situation in all of the 17 years we have owned Wern. We can only put this event down to the unusually hot weather we experienced that day and into the evening. We had been at the cottage ourselves that afternoon to check that all was well and saw no sign of these little creatures anywhere in the house at that time. Of course on being notified of the problem our immediate thoughts were for yourself and your family and we completely understood that you could not stay in the property that night. The comfort of our guests is always a priority for us. We just want to say that we immediately took steps to eradicate the problem and it has now been fully resolved. So sorry again for the disappointment and inconvenience caused but thank you for telling us about it so promptly and for your feedback. We have instructed our cleaners to pay closer attention to the cleaning regime. Best wishes Jane & Laurence
