Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Perfect Stay

Not realizing it was on the 20th floor but could not have been more happy. It was perfect. The layout of the room, the view, the location. We all had such an amazing time.

Family friendly with sky high views!

My husband, two children, and I stayed at this property over spring break. We were very happy with the property overall. Clean, spacious, lovely decor, and tons of amenities besides the amazing beach steps from the door. It lacked a few kitchen supplies, and the furniture/finishings were a bit more worn that the pictures let on, but overall, a lovely place.

Excellent condo

We loved staying at Splash and we loved the condo. Unfortunately our stay was cut short due to hurricane Michael. Hopefully we can book again in a couple years and stay again. We were rushed due to the mandatory evacuation so we hope we got all of the check out procedures done properly. I couldn't find it in my email. Thank you for an Excellent place to stay!!

The room we stayed in was clean and spacious. The lanai is a great space and has plenty of room to sit out and watch the sun set. The only down fall about the property is there was only 2 elevators. It was spring break so the resort was busy and you could wait up to 10 minutes for an elevator. But honestly that’s all resorts around busy season. I would definitely stay here again. The kids loved the splash pad and hot tub.

Great place, but needs a few updates

Wonderful space. Loved the open foyer! The balcony is very spacious and the balcony furniture is wonderful. The king bed definitely needs a new mattress. It’s thin, hard, and has little give to it. The couch needs updated also. It’s one of those couches that “swallows” you and it’s hard to get up out of. We love Splash though and the room was spacious and nice, just a few things need updated.

Run down property

This property was gross. The furniture was broken (and not safe), food on the ceiling, upholstery disgusting, paint peeling off the walls in every room. The walls and baseboards just really dirty. Graffiti on the bunk beds. Nasty black mold in both showers, severely rusted shower rods to the point it wasn’t functional, smoke detectors hanging out of the wall, and the list goes on. I requested to move to another unit and was given many options. I looked at 2-3 other units owned by the same company and it is obvious that Panhandle Getaways do not maintain their properties. The only positive was the staff handling complaints. They were lovely and really tried to find a place that wasn’t disgusting. We finally found a place that was safe for my kids and elderly parents, but it was not the kind of quality that I’m used to experiencing over the past decade of staying in PCB. I would not recommend this property management business to anyone. Private owners from now on who care about their properties.

Family getaway

The property itself was fine. My Younger kids had a blast. We originally booked a cozy looking condo but were asked to switch to this one. We were sadly disappointed. The beds were uncomfortable, There seemed to be a lack of care for anyone staying. Not enough silverware for a family of seven. Pans dropped off after we arrived. one big bowl. so we couldn't cook much. maybe 3 coffee cups. not enough towels. It was just sad. We made our stay enjoyable and shortly forgot what we were missing and obviously spent more time away from the condo itself. Management staff was amazing and the check-in and checkout was simple.

Nice property w irresponsible managers and dirty condition!

Our stay at this property was over the labor day weekend for full week. The property is a 2 bedrooms w separate bunk bed and couch in living room. Rated for up to 8 person. The layout and design of furniture is nice, plenty of room, kitchen area is good. Cleanliness of property is horrible. Coaches in living room are covered in stains and possibly marker drawings, chairs cushions are stained, both bathrooms have mold in corners by silicone lines and on ceiling,, refrigerator has stain inside bottom shelf. Is only a appearance issues! The fun began when we tried to cook a meal. Kitchen should be fitted w all necessary cookware and dishware. Out of the basic cookware we found only one huge pot and 1 small fry pan. Some spoons but no forks at all. plates for 6 person, this property is rated for 8 person, only 2 bowls.! So at that point my wife asked me to call and make a complaint of missing cookware and dirty couches. Housekeeping at the panhandle rentals explained that there nothing they can do about couches since we were not the first renters to complain about cleanliness. The management has not decided to clean or replace filthy couches and chairs yet! The best solution for that was to cover it up w bed-sheets. Housekeeping did came in and rechecked all dishware and kitchenware items and later refilled missing items! Management offered to move us to another clean unit at the same resort and promised to call back within 2 hrs. that was on Saturday ,we never got a call back on that day. In the meantime as temporally solution a housekeeping came in and swept and mopped the floor and left the broom w unit to keep it clean, there was not even a broom in the unit to start with, never-mind a vacuum cleaner! Also the the couches got bed-sheets to cover the stains. The next day, which is Sunday, we were told that the managers are off till Tuesday and till than there is nothing they can do about moving us to a clean unit. On Tuesday, one of th manger behaves like he never promised a callback and we were satisfied w results, at some point we were offered a full refund and to find another place elsewhere?! Really? once we already there? Bottom line the only discount we got for staying at the dirty place is cleaning fee refund! It is a nice unit, but being filthy is not worth that much money! Have pictures of the place that reveals real condition of the unit but there is no option to provide them on this review!

Splash Resort 2003 Review

We enjoyed our stay at Splash Resort, the pools & exercise room were great. The check in was easy & quick, but there were only 2 elevators and it did take a long time to finally get to our condo Our condo was fine, the air conditioner, plumbing, TV, kitchen appliances all worked fine but the furniture was well used and in need of replacing.

We enjoyed our vacation but there were drawbacks!

There are only 2 elevators for 22 stories of condos! There is no waiver if in check in times! The beds were awful & it was very crowded! Also there were very few true seafood restraints to enjoy! The pier Park was probably one of our favorite destinations! The beach was shallow but the water was beautiful to get food you either had to drive somewhere or go to store there were no places on the beach nearby to within walking distance to eat! We enjoyed our stay but would not choose this location again!

What a view!

We had a blast! The condo was spacious, clean and the view was gorgeous! Even though the location is on the quieter end of the beach it’s still convenient to pier park. We really enjoyed our spring break here and will definitely be back!

Crowded

Very nice place. It was overly crowded at pool and beach. The room was nice but not much storage for groceries. Overall our family enjoyed the week.

Wonderful minus creepy security guard

The condo was fabulous. They have a security guard that is creepy and should not be there with all the kids there. He showed up at my condo early one morning and it made us very nervous. The ammenities were really great since it rained for a few days and the kids were happy.

Splash Resort Good Family Spot

The condo was nicely decorated and offered beautiful views of the Gulf. Our only complaint of the condo was that the beds were very uncomfortable. The mattresses were not high quality. The kitchen was very basic and had minimal storage for pantry type items. Splash is a nice resort for families as there are plenty of activities for the kids.
