Not “even better than the photos”!

The photos must be at least 4/5 years old. The house is lovely but in need of some TLC. The plants and garden are overgrown and there is an old sky dish in the front garden. The window curtains/blinds do not all fit or do not work. The kitchen is very small for the size of the property. The swimming pool area is very tired. The house was clean but do not think it is worth the money charged. Also having stayed in properties such as this before a welcome package would be a nice thought.

Nice house with loots of space and well equipment

Great bedrooms and bathrooms Good equipment Friendly check in The 2 bedrooms by the pool are a bit separated from main house but worked for us The pool itself was great but hot and humid to sit around and can’t open doors to garden . Great host check in , fresh flowers a nice welcome touch

Perfect surrey getaway

Wonderful weekend away

We hired out the property for the weekend to have a low key hen party/baby shower/ girls reunion and had the best weekend away. We were met by the lovely Kristian who gave us a detailed tour and showed us around the property before everyone else arrived. The property was just incredible and perfect for a group of 13 of us to have a quiet weekend away together. The rooms were all clean, beautifully presented and we loved having so many bathrooms to chose from! There were plenty of pots and pans and plates in the kitchen for us all, every little thing had been thought of. We didnt end up using the lounges as we spent the majority of our time outside in the sunshine but they were beautifully laid out. The pool was perfect, it was such a hot weekend when we stayed there, it was lovely to be able to cool off in there. We all had a fabulous weekend away and would definitely recommend and rebook again in the future!

Gorgeous house and friendly welcome

A group of friends and I stayed here for two nights in April and the photos really don't do it justice! Every room is beautiful, all the mod cons and the pool was perfect for a relaxing weekend. Great space, would love to go back in the summer to enjoy the garden too.

Family get-together in Woking

The property is superb, lovely house, garden and (of course) swimming pool. Host was very welcoming and gave us an entertaining welcoming tour and then left us on our own. Altogether a great place for a family of 3 generations to get together for a lovely time, with lots of things to do in the house or garden and pretty close to local food outlets if you wish to go out. A Little "Tired" and need of some TLC

When we arrived at the property we were shown round by the host who pointed out that the table lamps in the main living room were worth £40k each and we not covered by insurance so would be our responsibilty for any damage. As we had a one year old running round with us, we decided not to take a chance and so did not use this room. That left us with the formal dinig room which was nice and an L-shaped lounge which didn't really lend itself to family gatherings. The kitchen is also rather small for a house of this size if you are doing your own cooking (the host charges £70 extra if you bring in a private chef). Some of the bedrooms are looking rather tired with peeling wallpaper and chipped paint but the pool area was OK and the water a nice temperature although the pool room itself was not very warm. Overall not a bad place but not very child friendly and probably not worth what we paid for it.

Wonderful weekend to remember

Amazing weekend in a beautiful house. The best feature was the indoor heated pool and we used it everyday (twice a day). The house was clean with beautiful paintings and art around. The bedrooms are large and well maintained. The amenities are top class and they are very accommodating. The owner was very kind and helpful when we checked in. We didn’t need much but when we did responsiveness could have been faster. It would have been great to see the new kitchen and patio and it was a shame these improvements won’t be made until next year. Although everything worked fine. Outdoor heaters in winter would have been a great idea too. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely book it again.

Family gathering

Ideal quiet location and highly recommend for a family gathering. Hosts were very helpful and plenty of plates, cutlery, glasses and everything you might need for a great weekend. Large garden and indoor swimming pool a big bonus especially for the children.

Wonderful week in Woking

The house is very large with seven spacious bedrooms all attractively furnished and most with en suite facilities. The master suite is especially impressive. We were a multi-generational family of 15 and were all extremely well accommodated and comfortable. The garden was lovely with plenty of space for games and relaxing but the pool was incredible - large and well equipped with a bathroom, towelling robes, a music system and comfortable seating. Our family spent many happy hours there. The kitchen and dining room were really well equipped. All in all we had a wonderful week and thoroughly enjoyed the house and amenities and all the advantages of the Surrey location.

Ideal family property

The Coach House was all that we had hoped for .... and more! The space indoors, the large garden with numerous pathways for the children to explore and the most wonderful swimming pool made a perfect venue for a special family holiday. Kristian spent plenty of time introducing us to the property to ensure we were confident with all the facilities. (He also spoilt the children, and adults, with a very special treat of Hummingbird cup cakes). The delightful housekeeper unobtrusively refreshed the house, including endless pool towels. The pool was a major part of the enjoyment. It is huge! The water is crystal clear, not highly chlorinated, warm ..... perfect. This house has the ideal combination of luxury, real character and comfort. We would highly recommend.

Just come back from a weeks stay at this property. Had the most amazing time. Property was lovely,.

Experience was fantastic renting this property, we all had a lovely time. Pool could have been made slightly warmer and had a few issues with couple of showers but when you gave 9 to choose from didn’t cause any probs. Would def recommend and def stay again!

Perfect!

Beautiful property, truly better than the pictures (especially the swimming pool which is huge!). You will find everything you need in the house and the set up is very comfortable and relaxing with plenty of space to enjoy time with friends and family. Every part of the house is nicely decorated, while bedrooms and bathrooms (more than one per bedroom!) are equipped to high standards. The owner was extermely welcoming, we appreciated the time he spent with us on check-in, explaining everything we needed to know.

Beautiful house with lots of space and quirky features, just needs a few things ironed out

Gorgeous house with lovely features and very spacious. Perfect for a work offsite meeting. The owners were very helpful in providing extra beds as we had a large group. Great back garden - it's a shame we didn't get to use it because of the weather. And the pool is a great bonus feature. Christian also surprised us with a red velvet cake from the Hummingbird Bakery on our last might which was a lovely touch! There are a few areas for improvement.... Water supply in the bathrooms was temperamental. A plumber was sent over as soon as this was reported after the 1st night, but one shower still broke again the next morning and was only providing boiling hot water so was not usable. And the water supply to the bathroom basin often cut out for a minute. Some care probably needed in this area. No check-in instructions were provided so I had to contact the owner to find out how to access the house, etc. No directions were provided to the house and the address given took all drivers and taxis to the road at the back of the house rather than the front door. So clearer check-in instructions including directions and a more accurate address would really help. I would definitely come back to the house again, as these are minor issues that can be fixed easily.

Absolutely fabulous!

We had a fantastic weekend celebrating a big 70th Birthday. The house is ideal for such a big family group and we made full use of the facilities, especially the swimming pool and the garden. Owners were delightful and made it very easy for us to relax and enjoy ourselves. We’d definitely be back for a similar event.

Five star luxury - gorgeous, stunning, simply perfect

Gorgeous, enormous, stunning property. We were a group of 14 and there was ample space for us all to relax and enjoy ourselves in. Upon arrival the house looks lovely from the outside but you have no idea how truly big it is until you step inside. Each room has been decorated to a very high standard and offers everything you need. It is a mixture of luxury but also feels very homely as they have added gorgeous modern furnishings alongside beautiful antiques. The house is spectacular. Each bedroom has been done to a high and individual standard. Each bathroom has a large selection of high quality products - we needn’t have brought anything with us. every bedroom has an en-suite which is quite the luxury when you are travelling with a big group. The kitchen is fully stocked - we had everything we needed. I have never experienced such a well stocked property before. Typically you are always missing something but this house had it all. I particularity liked that the kitchen and pool also had unbreakable glasses making them usable and safe for children. There were so many sets of cutlery, crockery and porcelain plates for the rest of us. The dining area was fantastic , we were so glad that we could all sit around the table. Loved the fresh flowers and little touches like egg ups, cloth napkins and candles. It was very cosy. Just when we thought this house couldn’t get better, it also has a very large indoor heated pool which is fully equipped with towels, bath and shower products, iceboxes and chillers and even bathrobes. In addition the house has an enormous beautifully maintained garden. So much space for us to relax and enjoy ourselves. The house offered Netflix which was another bonus for the kids. This is by far the best property I have ever stayed in. We can’t wait to go back!
